In the wake of the World Holy Name Festival 2019 [Tuesday 17th to Tuesday 24th September], ISKCON Perth is planning a series of events for the celebration as follows:.
Tue 17th – Thu 19th & Mon 23rd Sep
Bhakti Vriksha Evening Program:
We will be having four different Bhakti Vriksha groups to host an evening program each between Tue 17th and Thu 19th and on Mon 23rd. The structure for each of those evening programs will be as follow:
6.00pm – 6.30pm: Prasadam
6.30pm – 7.15pm: Kirtana – MAHA MANTRA
7.15pm – 7.30pm: Reading of “Shiksastakam” (Verses & Translation)
7.30pm – 8.00pm: Meditating on 2 of the Shiksastakam Verses (every night)
Friday 20th Sep
Perth City Harinama:
This will follow the same route as the usual Friday Harinama.
The various Bhakti Vriksha group leaders will be requested to encourage their group members to participate.
Saturday 21st Sep
Sit Down Harinama in Hyde Park
This will comprise a 2 hour Kirtana followed by prasadam and will be happening next to the Srila Prabhupada Memorial.
Sunday 22nd Sep
Sunday Program at the Temple
This will start at 3.00pm with Kirtana (MAHA MANTRA) followed by a special class on “The Glories of the Holy Name” by guest speaker and then Gaura Arati.
Tue 24th Sep
Special Program at the Temple
The program structure will be as follows:
6.00pm – 6.30pm: Prasadam
6.30pm – 7.00pm: Kirtana (MAHA MANTRA)
7.00pm – 7.30pm: Gaura Arati
7.30pm – 8.30pm: Special class on the verse “Harer Nama Harer Nama Harer Nama …” by guest speaker.
