HH Lokanath Swami Maharaj:
When there was no creation, but there was Pandharpur. And when the creation will be no longer, then there will be Pandharpur. So on for all Holy places; Vrindavana, Dwarika, Ayodhya and other places. These are the places where we can take shelter. Every holy place has a particular God, where the incarnation of God plays the pastimes.
There is a place called Ahobilam in Andhra Pradesh, where Lord incarnate as Lord Narsimha in Satyuga.
BG 4.8:
paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ
vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām
dharma-saṁsthāpanārthāya
sambhavāmi yuge yuge
Translation:
To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium.
Mahabharat:
Dharmo raksati rakistah
Translation:
Dharma protects those who protect it.
Lord is the saviour of the devotees. One of the namess of Lord Narsimha is Bhakta Rakshak. Whenever a devotee needs, lord Narsimha protects his devotees. He is Bhakti Vighn Vinashak. Whenever there is any obstacle in the devotion, Lord Narsimha protects his devotee.
SB 10.14.58:
samāśritā ye pada-pallava-plavaṁ
mahat-padaṁ puṇya-yaśo murāreḥ
bhavāmbudhir vatsa-padaṁ paraṁ padaṁ
padaṁ padaṁ yad vipadāṁ na teṣām
Translation:
For those who have accepted the boat of the lotus feet of the Lord, who is the shelter of the cosmic manifestation and is famous as Murāri, the enemy of the Mura demon, the ocean of the material world is like the water contained in a calf’s hoof-print. Their goal is paraṁ padam, Vaikuṇṭha, the place where there are no material miseries, not the place where there is danger at every step.
There are always a lot of obstacles in our lives. This is the symptom of Kaliyuga.
Sarva sadhana badhakah- it is an impediment everywhere and particularly in devotional service.
Kaliyuga become the obstacle in the sadhna of a sadhaka. So, we need the help of Lord to remove the obstacles. That’s why Srila Prabhupada gave us the Mantra.
Prayers to Lord Nṛsiṁha from Dasavatara by Jayadeva Gosvami:
tava kara-kamala-vare nakham adbhuta-śṛṅgaṁ
dalita-hiraṇyakaśipu-tanu-bhṛṅgam
keśava dhṛta-narahari-rūpa jaya jagadīśa hare
Translation:
O my lord Nṛsiṁha-deva, Your hands are very beautiful, like the lotus flower, but with Your longs nails You have ripped apart the wasp Hiraṇyakaśipu. Unto You, Lord of the Universe, I offer my humble obeisances.
There is movie released name Mahavatar Narsimha. I himself watched it. I went to the cinema hall after 40 years. All Hare Krishna devotees are also this movie.
I have seen an interview of the devotees of greater Noida. There were asked about their reaction. Devotees said it seems that we are watching the scene in real and we are watching the movie bare footed. A boy was asked what he had learnt from the movie. The boy replied we should not leave the devotion of the lord in any circumstances.
We have seen there was a lot of miseries in the life of Prahlad Maharaj. But he did not leave chanting of the holy name ‘Om Namah Bhagavate Vasudevay’. That was the authorised mantra for the Sata Yuga.
The makers of the movie are all devotees. The director of the movie ‘Ashwin Kumar’ is the son of my disciple Yoshoda Maiya Devi Dasi. He is also the son in law of another disciple Mahasundari Devi Dasi. When he was making the movie, he met with me in Noida temple to take the blessings from me. I have given him a lot of blessings for the movie. At that time, I was not aware that the movie will be so wonderful. I was amazed to see the movie.
In a Mayapur festival, Ashwin Kumar shows the premier to many devotees including HH Radha nath Swami Maharaj, HH Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj and HG Ambarish Prabhu Ji. I was also there. I was impressed. But when I watched the whole movie, I was amazed. It was wonderful.
As Srila Prabhupada wants to make a wonderful temple in Mayapur, this movie is also wonderful.
A dialogue from the movie when Hiranyakashipu asked Prahlad Maharaj to bring your Lord here. Prahlad Maharaj replied, “We can bring those who are not present here. But Hari is omnipotent. Then there is no question to bring Him here. He is everywhere.” Hiranyakashipu said, “What are you saying? Your lord is present in my palace? Is he in this pillar?”
Prahlad Maharaj: Yes! He is in this pillar also.
Hiranyakashipu was thinking surely how is this possible.
Then there is a big roar of Lord Narsimha.
In the Radha Rasbihari temple, Devotees presented a drama on Lord Narsimha. Srila Prabhupada was watching the drama. Almost devotees are foreigner. The character of Lord Narsimha was roared very loudly. Srila Prabhupada was amused on seeing the drama.
This movie is also amazing. It is unofficially created by Iskcon. The writer of the movie is Srila Vyasadeva. It is based on the Srimad Bhagvatam presented by the Srila Prabhupada.
I was thinking about Goerge Harrison who produced a music album of Hare Krishna Mantra and he also added a line “Oh Lord! I want to see you. I want to be with you.”
Prahlad Maharaj was also crying to see the lord.
Goerge Harrison was showing the similar emotion in that music album.
Every time, Lord exhales the creation is constructed and at the time of inhalation, it destroyed. The process of breathing continuous and so on the process of construction and destruction.
When Hiranyaksha was killed by Varah Dev, the mother Earth was saved by the Lord. Lord incarnated as a boar. Varah Dev came at the Vishrama Ghat in Mathura. The Ghat is named Vishrama Ghat because Varah Dev took rest after establish the earth again in its orbit. Varah Dev lifts mother earth on the tip of his tooth. That mother earth which includes all these countries and continentals. Dham is different from the materialistic creation. Include Dham in the materialistic creation is an offense. All holy places are eternal.
