Agents needed urgently!
Gaura premanande Hari Haribol! Gauranga Nityanand!
This is the movement of Gaura and Nityanand. Sankirtanaika pitrau. They are the founding fathers of the Sankirtana movement.
Today we have 690 Participants. A hearty welcome to all of you as we souls stay in the heart. This welcome is not just verbal. Also congratulations are in order as now there might be 1000 or 1500 devotees chanting. This is very pleasing. Welcome and congratulations once again.
There was a flood in the chat session. I can’t even keep count as many devotees sent the report of yesterday’s sankirtana.
suno suno nityananda, suno haridas
sarvatra amar ajna koroho prakas prati ghare ghare giya koro ei bhiksa
bolo ‘krsna’, bhajo krsna, koro krsna-siksa iha bai arna boliba,
bolaiba dina-avasane asi’ amare kohiba
Translation:
“Listen, listen, Nityananda! Listen Haridasa! Make My command known everywhere. Go from house to house and beg from all the residents,‘please chant Krsna’s name, worship Krsna, and teach others to follow Krsna’s instructions. ‘Do not speak, or cause anyone to speak, anything other than this.” (Sri Caitanya-Bhagavata, Madhya-Khanda 13.8)
Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu had ordered His associates to go to every home and instruct about the teachings of Krsna and report to Him.
yāre dekha, tāre kaha ‘Krsna’-upadeśa
āmāra ājñāya guru hañā tāra’ ei deśa
Translation:
Instruct everyone to follow the orders of Lord Śrī Krsna as they are given in Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. In this way become a spiritual master and try to liberate everyone in this land. (CC Madhya-lila 7.128)
He instructed and then asked others to report. In a similar mood, we just repeated Gauranga Mahaprabhu’s order. I am not the only one repeating Mahaprabhu’s order. There are many leaders who did this. I couldn’t read all the reports. You can also read them in the ‘Let us chant together’ Facebook. As I read some parts, I could understand that you followed the instructions given yesterday to perform kirtana from 5 to 5:15 pm.
I also did kirtana with other devotees. I was on the balcony and others went into the courtyard and performed enthusiastic kirtana.
Padmamali Prabhu also reported that there was kirtana in Ahmedabad and there it rained the whole night.
annad bhavanti bhutani

yajnad bhavati parjanyo

Translation:
All living bodies subsist on food grains, which are produced from rain. Rains are produced by performance of yajna (sacrifice), and yajna is born of prescribed duties. (BG 3.14)
Rain occurs by performing yajna, If rains are there, grains will grow and we can live. This is a cycle by which we are automatically maintained.

Translation:
But those who always worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental form - to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have. (BG 9.22)
This is the arrangement of the Lord. He fulfils our needs. Those who perform Sankirtana will always be fulfilled and happy.
ekākī āmāra, nāhi pāya bala,
hari-nāma-sańkīrtane
tumi krpā kori’, śraddhā-bindu diyā,
deho’ krsna-nāma-dhane
Translation:
I do not find the strength to carry on alone the sankirtana of the holy name of Hari. Please bless me by giving me just one drop of faith with which to obtain the great treasure of the holy name of Krsna. ('Ohe Vaisnava Thakura' Song from 'Saranagati' by Bhaktivinod Thakur)
Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur has said that spreading this sankirtana all over the world is not possible for him alone. Srila Prabhupada said the same thing and he would inspire all to join this movement. He would ask, ‘How many sons do you have?’ - Ten sons! Then he asked them to give him one son. In this way he appealed to everyone to understand this movement and join and spread this Hare Krishna movement.
Caitanya Mahaprabhu said, ‘ami akela malakaar, I am alone gardener and how many fruits can I gather and how many cartons can I fill and distribute? These fruits are to be distributed all over the world. And there are many with faith who are interested. So, join me and help me distribute.’ 'Agents wanted!’ Become agents and distributors. Srila Prabhupada said that you eat and taste fruits and also distribute. We were not chewing it properly. We were not doing sravana, kirtana, smarana properly due to lack of time, but now Lord has made an arrangement. This is a blessing in disguise. The curse of the Coronavirus has become a blessing. Now we have lots of time. Srila Prabhupada said, “Practice Krishna consciousness 24 hours a day. Study and teach also.” I also read that many devotees are spreading messages from Bhagavad-Gita, Bhagavatam or Nectar of Devotion. Devotees are on campaign.
We need to spread this. Many have friends or followers on Facebook. You can inspire them to join kirtana and perform in their balcony, courtyard or terrace. Get together with your next door ISKCON devotees. You can do kirtana wearing your mask. Hardik Patel from the USA suggested that wherever there is ISKCON, in more than 150 countries, if kirtana goes on, then there will be 24 hours kirtana all across the earth. There will be a presence of Harinama 24 hours a day. I don’t know about Damodar or Balaramdesh. You proceed after thinking. If devotees at all these places perform kirtana in one country after another then holy names can be spread all over the world.
People don’t have to be present next to you to hear. It won’t go in vain. Even if no one hears then still you should understand that people of this world are benefitting. There can’t be any better welfare activity than this, as we are helping the soul and not just sense gratification or enjoyment of the mind or intellectual debates. People are busy in sense gratification, debating or quarrelling. In all such attempts, there is no benefit for the people. In this way they are cheating and getting cheated. We might be cheating our family also as we gratify the senses of our family members or provide them with sense enjoyment. The whole world is busy in exploitation.

Translation:
O Lord Hari! I have spent my life uselessly. Having obtained a human birth and having not worshiped Radha and Krsna, I have knowingly drunk poison. (Dainya Bodhika song 2 from 'Prarthana' by Narottama Das Thakur)
Filmy songs are poison. It increases the lust within us.

Translation:
Those who fully worship the impersonal conception of the Absolute Truth by controlling the various senses and being equally disposed to everyone, such persons, engaged in the welfare of all, at last achieve Me. (BG 12.4)
Our service is that we have to give relief to souls and peace is possible thereafter.

Translation:
Lord Gauranga is calling, “Wake up, sleeping souls! Wake up, sleeping souls! How long will you sleep in the lap of the witch called Maya? ( Arunodaya kirtan song 2 from Geetavali by Bhaktivinod Thakur)
Wake up your relatives. Preach to them telephonically by making them hear melodious kirtana. There is no need to make them fearful. Share with them how sweet Krsna, His qualities are. This is the best news. This life is meant for the welfare of others. If we just live for ourselves then we will never get pleasure or get temporary pleasure.

Translation:
While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises. (BG 2.62)
Let's stop here. We will meet again.
Hare Krishna !!
