Beyond Birth and Death
Hare Krishna.
Dhananjay Krishna from New Jersey was reporting that he is celebrating his birthday today. He is seeking blessings from me and all other devotees who are chanting on this conference. Chant Hare Krishna and be happy. All of us can once chant one maha-mantra.

We don’t know how old you are. We ask in English how old you have become? This question itself is filled with ignorance since we are asking regarding the body. Here, you refer to the soul. The body can’t be asked such a question and neither can the body re-ply. The soul neither has birth nor death. We understand that this person is so old and there are some here who are younger than him. In reality, we all are the same age. In 1977 when Srila Prabhupada was ill, one disciple asked Srila Prabhupada that since I’m young and you’re old, I would like to offer my youth to you so that you can remain in this world for the benefit of all. Then Prabhupada replied that we are of equal age. Being old and young, is an illusion itself. Knowledge is that we are the soul. If someone is old and he dies at the age of 60 then when he again takes birth, he is of a small age while his son from the previous birth is 30 years old. In this way, the father from a previous birth has become younger. This understanding is an illusion.
In our culture, our age is measured in some other ways such as in terms of vaya vradha and gyana vradha. Vaya means age. One doesn’t have to endeavour to become old. The only care that you have to take is you shouldn’t die. There is no bravery in that. One should become advanced in knowledge with self-realization. During Caitanya Ma-haprabhu’s time, there was one associate known as Mukunda Dasa who had a son named Raghunandan. Raghunandan was quite advanced in devotional service. He was very advanced in terms of knowledge and realisations. Once Caitanya Mahaprabhu asked Mukunda Dasa who is the father and who is the son? The father replied that my son is my father. He is more advanced in terms of knowledge and realisations. He was thinking of his son as his father. Similarly, Prahlada Maharaja is like the great grandfa-ther of Hiranyakasipu. When he opens his mouth, how awesome he speaks! He had old intelligence.

Those who have a birthday, please keep on chanting and get matured in terms of knowledge and be happy. Just like the birth of worldly people, there is not much to take away from it. We take birth in maternity homes. The child just cries as soon as he takes birth. There is no need to contemplate on these.
janma karma ca me divyam
evaṁ yo vetti tattvataḥ
tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma
naiti mām eti so ’rjuna
Translation:
Those who understand the divine nature of my birth and activities, O Arjun, upon leav-ing the body, do not have to take birth again but come to my eternal abode.[BG 4.9]
Our aim is not to take rebirth again, but to attain the Lord. One who knows My birth can come to My abode. Lord is saying this because My birth and activities are divine and one who understands them as they are is self-realised and God-Realised. We should re-member this on the birthday. Lord has asked us to remember His birth and activities.
Gauranga Mahaprabhu’s birth is coming soon. We were seeing the moon as we were re-turning from Parikrama. Today is Pancami. Only 10 days to go. Forget about mine and your birth and hear about and understand the divine birth of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Cai-tanya Candra appeared on that day. Srila Prabhupada named this temple Mayapur Can-drodaya Mandir. 536 years ago when Gauranga Mahaprabhu appeared, the full moon hid with the excuse of the lunar eclipse as he was thinking the original moon is Caitanya Candra. The moon was thinking that as the light of millions of moons emanates from His face.
bahu-koti chandra jini’ vadana ujjvala
gala-deshe bana-mala kore jhalamala
Translation:
On such an occasion how can I show my faces which is having so many black spots? [Gaura Arati]
He thought to hide himself and he didn’t reveal his face. śacī-garbha-sindhau harīnduḥ. Hari has become the moon. Hari has appeared as the moon who is compared to the moon rising from the ocean. It seems that the moon appears from the ocean which we experience it at Jagannatha Puri. From the ocean of the womb of mother Saci, Cai-tanya Mahaprabhu appeared. This is celebrated grandly in Mayapur. All of you have to prepare for an appearance festival of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. To welcome Him, glorify and worship Him, we have to get ready.
When Saci Mata’s Nimai appeared, all the demigods appeared for the birthday celebra-tions in Santipur. Gandharvas were singing and it was a divine celebration. Now it’s our turn. Prepare yourself mentally and intellectually by chanting which will make us happy forever.

Realize ,You have come back home!
Hare Krishna !You are all welcome in this Dhama also. Although, there is nothing like this Dhama or that Dhama. There is only one Dhama. Especially for our upliftment, Lord manifests himself and his Dhama.
brahmānda bhramite kona
bhāgyavān jīva
guru-krsna-prasāde pāya
bhakti-latā-bīja
Translation:
According to their karma, all living entities are wandering throughout the entire universe. Some of them are being elevated to the upper planetary systems, and some are going down into the lower planetary systems. Out of many millions of wandering living entities, one who is very fortunate gets an opportunity to associate with a bona fide spiritual master by the grace of Krsna. By the mercy of both Krsna and the spiritual master, such a person receives the seed of the creeper of devotional service. (Caitanya-caritamrita Madhya 19.151)
Those who have become fortunate to go back to Godhead, for such ladies and gentlemen, the Lord has extended his Dhama. We had also heard this when there was the Adhivas ceremony of the Parikrama, “This Dhama has been created by Srimati Radharani”. H.H.Bhakti Purushottama Swami Maharaja was sharing this. There is Parikrama Khanda and other is Praman Khanda which gives reference about it. Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur has also written in Praman Khanda that Navadvipa Dhama has been created by Srimati Radharani.
karunam kuru mayi karuna-bharite
sanaka-sanatana-varnaita-carite
Translation:
O, You who are filled with compassion! O, You whose divine characteristics are described by the great sages Sanaka and Sanatana! O Radha, please be merciful to me! (Verse 3, Radhe jaya jaya, Vaisnava Song)
Radharani’s compassion has manifested in the form of this Dhama to give shelter to the bewildered souls of this world.
paras tasmāt tu bhāvo ‘nyo
‘vyakto ‘vyaktāt sanātanah
yah sa sarvesu bhūtesu
naśyatsu na vinaśyati
Translation:
Yet there is another unmanifest nature, which is eternal and is transcendental to this manifested and unmanifested matter. It is supreme and is never annihilated. When all in this world is annihilated, that part remains as it is. (Bhagavad-Gita 8.20)
Krsna has said in Bhagavad-Gita that there is creation, maintenance and destruction. Sometimes it is created and annihilated. But there is one more Dhama which is beyond these changes.
na tad bhāsayate sūryo
na śaśānko na pāvakah
yad gatvā na nivartante
tad dhāma paramam mama
Translation:
That supreme abode of Mine is not illumined by the sun or moon, nor by fire or electricity. Those who reach it never return to this material world. (Bhagavad-Gita15.6)
Once we go there, we never come back. While drinking milk, if it burns our lips then when we drink milk the next time, we will be careful. Once bitten twice shy. When living, while always getting humiliated and troubled then one always remembers it and decides never to return to this world.
Radharani has created this Dhama. Navadvipa is known as Audarya Dhama and Vrndavana is Madhurya Dham. Audarya is because of Radharani. Now those who are chanting with us have reached over here in Navadvipa.
Yesterday, I joined the Russian party in Parikrama in Naimisaranya. In Navadvipa, all the tirthas or Dhamas are there. All the Dhamas are inside one Dhama. Hence, it is said that if you circumambulate this Dhama then you have done Parikrama of all the Dhamas. Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur has said that a person who rejects such a Parikrama is a rascal who thinks of going to another Dhama.
sa vai pumsām paro dharmo
yato bhaktir adhoksaje
ahaituky apratihatā
yayātmā suprasīdati
Translation:
The supreme occupation [dharma] for all humanity is that by which men can attain to loving devotional service unto the transcendent Lord. Such devotional service must be unmotivated and uninterrupted to completely satisfy the self. (Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.6)
This is the reason for all souls to take up Krishna Consciousness. I told the Russian party to wake up and understand that you are back in Bhagavat Dhama (back to Godhead). Realize this. We don’t realize that while we are in Dhama. There is some consciousness that we booked tickets from Mauritius, came by plane, train or boat then walked over here in Mayapur but we don’t fully realize that we have reached Dhama.
Srila Prabhupada would say that you cannot reach the Dhama by any airplane. You can take your body. But one needs a mood like when Akrura went to Vrindavan Dhama from Mathura. That is the way to go to the Dhama. His journey is famous for his mood. He didn’t only take his body, but also his mind there. Sometimes we take our body to the Dhama but our mind sticks to our family. Russian devotees were given a reminder to realize that you have come back home, back to Godhead. This is full fledged Bhagavat Dhama. This is Goloka itself.
Here is the original Naimisaranya. Lucknow has its manifestation. When Suta Goswami was narrating Bhagavad katha in Naimisaranya, 88 thousand sages were there headed by Saunak Muni. On behalf of all the sages, Saunak Muni was asking the questions to Suta Goswami. Naimisaranya is the land of sages. Naimisaranya is in Madhya dvipa of Navadvipa where sapta rushi (seven sages) came by the order of Brahma. Sapta rishis are the sons of Brahma. There’s a pastime on this. Madhya dvipa is known for smarana. Simanta dvipa is known for sravana, Godrume dvipa is known for kirtana . Sapta rishis meditated over there. As they followed all the things which Brahma asked them to do, Lord gave them darsana at noon time (Madhyanha). That’s why that dvipa is called Madhya Dvipa. Gauranga Mahaprabhu also performs kirtana at noon time. That’s why it is also called Madhya dwip.
I told the Russian devotees that Russia was a place of sages or rishis or rusyaha. The Russian party was the first to be sent to Naimisaranya where seven sages had assembled as ancestors of the Russian devotees. It was very appropriate for them to go over there. There were so called Russian devotees. Devotees cannot be termed Russian, Bengali, Canadian or French. Hence, we say so called. Body is not devotee, but the devotee is the soul. Body is sand only. Hair and skin do not make up devotees. It’s just a combination of 5 elements which we call the body. The soul is the real devotee. Devotees cannot be Russian, Australian or Negro. This is body business.

The number of participants have increased to 444. When we chant, then all our differences gets dissolved. We don’t care and remember which face from which country has come in front of us. In the Hare Krishna movement, all misconceptions are dissolved. Srila Prabhupada would say that Krsna consciousness is clear consciousness.

Zero difference between Nama and Nami
You all are welcome!
Some of the devotees have gone on parikrama. Not some, but 10000 devotees have set off today on parikrama. You all are on this conference which I can see. You are in your comfort zone. I can see that. You are enjoying Kirtana mela or zoom conference. Here from 440 places devotees are chanting. You have not left your comfort zone, but with the help of the internet you are getting the best of both worlds. Do parikrama sitting at home , or observe parikrama, attend kirtana mela and also zoom conference being at home.
khāite śuite yathā tathā nāma laya
kāla-deśa-niyama nāhi, sarva siddhi haya
Translation:
“Regardless of time or place, one who chants the holy name, even while eating or sleeping, attains all perfection. ( Caitanya-caritamrita Antya 20.18)
It is said this way that keep chanting while eating or while sleeping, but this doesn’t mean that we should sleep while chanting. This is the Tarak mantra , which is Yugadharma. Devotees are chatting on the conference that they liked the Kirtana Mela.
Yesterday we had gone to Yogapitha where devotees accepted the resolution. We went to Yogapitha and celebrated Adhivasa of parikrama over there. To prepare for the parikrama, get mentally ready for it and have the determination for it is termed Adhivasa. Yesterday a few devotees observed how the name of the Lord will take us to His abode. We can understand this much that name of the Lord will take us surely to His abode. Who brought all those devotees who have arrived here for Mayapur festival, for parikrama or for Kirtana Mela? Harinama brought them here. They received Harinama in their respective countries, then they started chanting. Then they started becoming determined, ‘We will go! We will go! We will go one day to Mayapur!’ I always keep saying, ‘ Nama se dhama tak.’ Bengali speaking devotees know this. From name to the abode of the Lord. The name of the Lord will transfer us to the abode of the Lord.
Name is the Lord himself. Don’t think it is just a name. Such thinking is not good it is insufficient and full of ignorance. The name which helps us reach the dhama is the Lord himself.
nāma cintāmaṇiḥ kṛṣṇaś
caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ
pūrṇaḥ śuddho nitya-mukto
‘bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ
Translation:
The holy name of Kṛṣṇa is transcendentally blissful. It bestows all spiritual benedictions, for it is Kṛṣṇa Himself, the reservoir of all pleasure. Kṛṣṇa’s name is complete, and it is the form of all transcendental mellows. It is not a material name under any condition, and it is no less powerful than Kṛṣṇa Himself. Since Kṛṣṇa’s name is not contaminated by the material qualities, there is no question of its being involved with māyā. Kṛṣṇa’s name is always liberated and spiritual; it is never conditioned by the laws of material nature. This is because the name of Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa Himself are identical. (Caitanya-caritamrita Madhya 17.133)
This is siddhant. Nama itself is touchstone. Nama cintamani Caitanya. It is full of consciousness( chetana). It revives our consciousness. We are like dead matter in this universe. But chetan means full of life, full of consciousness. Harinama infuses life in us. Prananti punanti shubhanti as explained in the Bhagavatam. All this takes place when we chant. When we do kirtana thenwe get pran, or we achieve our prannath. Otherwise we are simply living without observing simple living. We are simply living, simply going on living without a trace of life in it. In our lives there is no life, no consciousness, no enthusiasm , no divinity, no greatness, just living.
Ahara-nidra-bhaya-maithunam cha
samanam_etat_pashubhir_naranam |
dharmo hi tesham adhiko vishesho
dharmena hInah pashubhih samanah||
Translation:
Food, sleep, fear and mating, these acts of humans are similar to animals’ |
of them (humans), dharma (right conduct) is the only special thing, without dharma humans are also animals. (Chanakya)
Life consisting of only eating, sleeping, fearing and mating is equal to animal life. There are no emotions or higher consciousness. People still live life like this without any Krsna consciousness. So prananti – when we chant and do kirtana of

then we are infused with life. Jaan me Jaan aa jati hai. nāma cintāmaṇiḥ kṛṣṇaś caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ Harinam is a big reservoir of Rasa. There was a Muslim poet named Ras Khan. He is also a soul. caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ – glories of Harinama have been explained by this. nāma cintāmaṇiḥ kṛṣṇaś caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ I also explained that it is the reservoir of all the Rasas. raso vai sah Truly, the Lord is rasa (Taittiriya Upanishad 2.7.1)
The Lord is the origin of all the rasas. Akhil rasamrit Sindhu is Lord. Harinama is same as there is no difference of even a smallest unit of difference between the Lord and His name. There is zero difference between Lord and his name. Harinama is the Lord himself. Then further it is said about the mahamantra. It is pure.When we come in contact with pure , we also will become pure. It is said krsna suryasam maya hai andhakar.
The Sun is up in the sky, but wherever his rays reach all those places get purified. Even all the dirty places where stool and urine is dropped become purified by the rays of the Sun. If the Sun’s rays had not have reached there, then those places would have become horrible. But in the morning the sun rays reach such places and it gets purified. The Lord’s name also does a similar function. A as mind gives rise to the dirt and garbage in our mind and thoughts, or low thinking, sinful mentality all are purified by Harinama. Nama of Hari is eternal, pure, liberating ( mukta). Is the Sun is liberated? No one can put the Sun under any regulations, similarly Harinama is always mukta, independent. Nitya suddha mukta , purna. Harinama is complete. The way it is said about the Lord in Sri Isopanishad
oṁ pūrṇam adaḥ pūrṇam idaṁ
pūrṇāt pūrṇam udacyate
pūrṇasya pūrṇam ādāya
pūrṇam evāvaśiṣyate
Translation:
The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the Complete Whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance. ( Sri Isopanishad text 0.2)
The Lord is complete. What is said at the end of previous sloka? bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ At which all levels is there abhinatva? ‘bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ there is no difference between Nama and Nami. What is proved by this which we are discussing for the last 15 minutes? What is the principle? bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ, this is the principle. Nama and Nami are non different. Nama means Harinama and one to whom the name belongs is Nami. Nama and to whom the nama belongs are non different.
In the beginning I mention that the Nama of the Lord brings us to the Dhama or abode of the Lord. When we are sitting here in the dhama , then we have to agree with this. Who brought us over here? It is the name of the Lord that brought us to the dhama of the Lord.
At least once in their lives Hare Krsna devotees should come to Mayapur, and at least once they should do Navadvipa-Mandala Parikrama. And then we come again and again as we start getting addicted to it we don’t want to go back. Who will like to leave Mayapur Dhama and go back?
Like this keep chanting and preach. Bring others also to Mayapur. For this the International Society for Krishna consciousness is established. Gauranga Mahaprabhu has got it done by Srila Prabhupad. It’s the desire of the Lord that we all should return to Him. Lord also wants to get us back. The soul wants to go back to Krsna, but even Krsna wants to get the souls back. All those misdirected souls who have forgotten Him. The Lord wants to reestablish a relationship with them. For this reason He appears. 500 years back the Lord came from Goloka to Mayapur and He did a lot of effort which we call lila. The objective of such pastimes is to attract more and more souls back to Him. In all these pastimes which the Sankirtana pastimes are the supreme pastimes. Caitanya Mahaprabhu wanted that Sankirtana movement to be spread all over, for which this Krsna Consciousness movement has been started. We all have come in contact with this movement. Because of this all of you are here. Because of this all of you are chanting at your respective places. All this has become possible due to this movement. All of you are preachers, so go on preaching and then send more and more souls to Mayapur and you also come. Keep chanting.
I have to go on Parikrama. Today I will be joining the Russian devotees group in 30 to 45 minutes. There will be Katha in Naimisaranya. Russian devotees will be in Naimisaranya. All dhamas are over here. This place is all in one.

आप सभी लोग अंग्रेजी समझते है! ठीक है, मतलब हिंदी भी समझते है। तो हम लोग 335 सहभागी है। आप सभी का स्वागत है, बधाई हो और धन्यवाद। आप में से कुछ गंभीर जप करने वाले हैं, जो इस सभा में उपस्थित है। हरी बोल!! मेरे पास ज्यादा समय नहीं है, मुझे 10 मिनट के अंदर परिक्रमा में जाना है, अधिवास, में योगापीठ जा रहा हूं। आप सभी की जानकारी के लिए, ये अधिवास है नवद्वीप मंडल परिक्रमा का। तो एक समूह योगापीठ के लिए निकल चुका है, साधारणतया मैं भी आज उनके साथ जाता हूं। लेकिन इस सभा के कारण मैं उनके साथ नहीं गया। क्योंकि मैं इस जप सभा को छोड़ना नहीं चाहता था। इसलिए मैं रुक गया। लेकिन जैसे ही यह जप सभा खत्म होगी, मैं भी उन में जाकर सम्मिलित हो जाऊंगा, मेरी गाड़ी 10 मिनट में या 10 से 15 मिनट में आने वाली है। हरी हरी!!

अनुवाद: स्वयं को मार्ग में पड़े हुए तृण से भी अधिक नीच मानकर, वृक्ष के समान सहनशील होकर, मिथ्या मान की कामना न करके दुसरो को सदैव मान देकर हमें सदा ही श्री हरिनाम कीर्तन विनम्र भाव से करना चाहिए ॥३॥
तो इस प्रकार से हम जप सभा में लिखना, बोलना करते रहते है। लेकिन वह बहुत प्रभावकारी नही है, क्योंकि यह जप का समय है, तो आपको इस समय लिखने या बोलने की जरूरत नहीं है। आप जप सभा के बाद ऐसा कर सकते है, लिखना, टिप्पणी, साक्षात्कार, प्रश्न आदि, इनको प्रसारित कर सकते है। अभी प्रणाली बन रही है तो हम आप लोगो को बता देंगे की तकनीकी तौर पे इसे कैसे किया जाएगा। आपको इसके बारे में सूचित किया जाएगा। भविष्य मैं यह जप सभा और भी परस्पर संवादात्मक होगी, जैसा कि आप कहते है, महाराज ये एक ही तरफ का आदान प्रदान है। आप बोलते है और हम लोगो का मुंह बंद रहता है। हम लोगो को मौन कर दिया जाता हैं। मेने हवाई के अपने गुरुभाई नरहरी से सुना कि वह भी ये जप सभा उपयोग करते है, वो जप सभा नही और कुछ और करते है। तो वो बता रहे थे की उनको विभिन्न सहभागी मिलते है, जो बोलते है, प्रश्न पूछते है, टिप्पणी करते है और वो फिर उनको जवाब देते है। तो इस जप सभा में भी ऐसी कुछ संभावना है जहां पे चुना हुआ व्यक्ति पूरी जप स्क्रीन पे आएगा, जैसा हम किसी आमंत्रित व्यक्ति के लिए करते है। हमको देखना होगा की इस तरह की व्यवस्था हम लोग कैसे कर सकते है। जिस से ऑनलाइन और तुरंत वार्तालाप किया जा सके, और आप में से कोई जैसा की में संबोधित कर रहा हूं, कर सके या बोल सके इस जप सभा पर। तो हम लोग देख रहे है की ये सब नियुक्तियां कैसे की जा सकेगी। तो हमे ध्यानपूर्वक जप करना है, यही हमारा लक्ष्य है। कल हमने एक बहुत ही महत्पूर्ण वाक्य सुना, वैशैकी सखा प्रभु के मुख से, जो पुस्तक वितरण और श्रील प्रभुपाद की पुस्तकों को पढ़ने के लिए, जौर देने वाले समर्थक है। वह अच्छा पढ़ने वाले है और अच्छे निर्देशक है। अच्छा पढ़ने वाले को अच्छा नेता होना चाहिए और अच्छे नेता को अच्छा पढ़ने वाला होना चाहिए।
तो उन्होंने कल की सभा में कहा, जहान ध्यान या एकाग्रता जाती है वही शक्ति जाती है। तो जप वह समय है जब हमे सावधान रहना है और जप वह समय है जब हमे असावधान नही रहना है। तो इस प्रकार जब हमारा ध्यान जाता है, जैसे कोई दरवाजे पर है, तो हमारी शक्ति भी जाती है। हम उस व्यक्ति को पूरी तरह से घूरते है, कौन हो तुम, वहां क्यों हो। तो केवल हमारे सोचने की शक्ति ही नही बल्कि हमारी दूसरी इन्द्रियों की एकाग्रता भी उसी दिशा में चली जाती है सूचना को इकठ्ठा करने के लिए। ज्ञान अर्जित करने वाली इंद्रियां ज्ञान को लेकर मन को सूचित करती है फिर बुद्धि भी सम्मिलित हो जाती है जो भेद बताती है की क्या गलत है क्या सही है, यह क्या है, वह क्या है। तो इस प्रकार हमारा शरीर, मन, बुद्धि उसी दिशा में चले जाते है जहां एकाग्रता जाती है। तो इस प्रकार जहान ध्यान या एकाग्रता जाती है वही शक्ति चली जाती है। तो इस प्रकार हम अपने आस पास का उचित वातावरण, उचित संग और सही आसन चुनना है। आसन केवल वह ही नही है जहां आप बैठ ते हो बल्कि आसन वह भी है जहां आप बैठाए जाओगे। जैसे हम मायापुर धाम में है तो धाम भी आसन बन जाता है। जो हमारे आस पास है वह भी हमारा आसन बन जाता है और आसन का हिस्सा बन जाता है। इसलिए बैठने से पहले, बैठना भी आसन है ध्यान जप करने के लिए, लेकिन चलते हुए जप करना आसन नहीं है। इसलिए हम समय समय पर बताते रहते है, तो हमारे पास आसन होना चाहिए, जहां इलाज से बेहतर रोकथाम हो। जो हमे जप के दौरान होने वाली बाधाओं से बचा सके। तो ये सब सोच विचार कर के हमे आसन चुनना चाहिए जहां बिलकुल नहीं या बहुत कम बाधाएं हो। तो इस प्रकार हमारी एकाग्रता इधर उधर न जाए नही तो शक्ति चली जायेगी। हरी हरी!! तो ये छोटे विषय है, तो हमे याद रखना है की जहां एकाग्रता जाती है उसी तरफ शक्ति बहती है। तो हम नही चाहते है की हमारी एकाग्रता कही और जाए बल्कि कृष्ण की और जाए। तो एकाग्री बनो, यह बहुत ही महत्पूर्ण निर्देश है इस विषय के लिए, जप करने वालो के लिए, एकाग्री बनो। तो अगर हम एक शब्द में कहे की हमारा जप कैसा हो, ध्यानपूर्वक। जैसे ही हम असावधान होते है शक्ति बह जाती है। तो यह अभ्यास हमे करना है अपने जप के लिए। तो इस प्रकार हमे और सोचना है, अब में यही विराम देता हूं, योगापीठ के लिए जाना है। आप में से कुछ परिक्रमा में नही जा रहे है? जा रहे है, ठीक है जाओ।

Acquiring Transcendental Knowledge
Hare Krishna.
Today there are 486 participants.Welcome you all. When there is kirtan mela then the number of participants increase.Yesterday there were more than 1000 participants. Don’t think that only those who were present in temple were part of kirtana mela. Narahari from Osmanabad is having his birthday today. You also will have your birthday someday. So happy birthday to you! What do we say in English? We say, “You may never take birth again”. Isn’t this good? Please share your thoughts or realisations, experience or comments regarding chanting? Are you having any special experience while chanting? I keep on speaking, you may also speak. We are not always distinct.
In Navadvipa Mayapur, there are 9 islands which are formed with rivers flowing in be-tween. Dvipa is island. Generally they are in the middle of the ocean. Like Dwaraka or Mauritius which is in middle of Indian Ocean. In Navadvipa, Ganga and Yamuna flow next to each other. We can only see the Ganga. There are 5 rivers that is why it is called pan-caveni. There is triveni in Allahabad. And pancaveni is in Mayapur dhama. Veni means braid. In Modern times, ladies don’t have braided hairs.In a veni the hairs are criss-cross. In the Same way, the rivers are criss-cross in Mayapur. Mandakini , Alakananda, Ganga ,Yamuna, Saraswati and they are the cause of the separation of the land here and there. There is Gaura bridge from where we can see all 5 rivers. It seems that there are only 2 riv-ers, but actually there are 5 rivers. Transcendental knowledge is never lost. It gets covered.
evam parampara-praptam
imam rajarsayo viduh
sa kaleneha mahata
yogo nastah parantapa
Translation:
This supreme science was thus received through the chain of disciplic succession, and the saintly kings understood it in that way. But in course of time the succession was broken, and therefore the science as it is appears to be lost. [BG 4.2]
Sometimes rivers are covered and sometimes they are visible. Those who have Dhama re-alisation can see. Jalangi River should be Jalangri. Pankajangri Prabhu? Pankaja means lo-tus. Angri means feet. Jalangri means water which flows from the lotus feet of the Lord. Knowledge is not different from the Lord. In the same way the Lord has become water. So it is transcendental.
śravaṇaṁ kīrtanaṁ viṣṇoḥ smaraṇaṁ pāda-sevanam arcanaṁ vandanaṁ dāsyaṁ sakhyam ātma-nivedanam
Parikrama means padasevanam. So navavidha bhakti is one of which is padasevanam. A humble attitude has to be there and then we do kirtana. Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur had spoken regarding bhavas. When will I chant and dance along banks of river Ganges? When will I eat prasad by begging alms? So this is an introduction. This is play of bhava.
Question.
How to become genuinely humble from the heart and not just from outside to show others?
Answer.
This is part of self realization. This is also knowledge. You don’t have to become humble as the soul is very, very humble. The living entity is very insignificant. vidya dadati vinayam. If you become knowledgeable then the first outcome of acquiring knowledge is that you will become humble. We are important because we are Krsna’s devotees. We should be proud of being Krsna’s devotees.
Yesterday we celebrated the disappearance day festival of HH Tamal Krishna Goswami Maharaja in Mayapur Dhama.He was very demanding as a manager and then complaints would go to Srila Prabhupada about his attitude.
Srila Prabhupada said to Tamal Krishna Prabhu who later became Maharaja that in this creation there is this one universe out of many universes. Then in that universe we have 14 planetary systems. Then we have the Earth in that. On Earth we have many countries. We have USA as one of them.In USA we have 50 states. In such one state we have Los Ange-les. In Los Angeles there are so many buildings and in that building you’re sitting in one corner. We’re like a mustard seed in the creation. Srila Prabhupada was explaining how in-significant we are. We are so tiny that we are almost nothing.
tṛṇād api sunīcena
taror api sahiṣṇunā
amāninā mānadena
kīrtanīyaḥ sadā hariḥ
Translation:
One can chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking himself lower than the straw in the street. One should be more tolerant than the tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige and ready to offer all respects to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly. (Śikṣāṣṭaka 3)
But we consider ourselves very big and great. This is an illusion. When there is knowledge and realisation of that knowledge then we will become humble. Humility is the result of that knowledge. In such a state of mind, a person can chant holy names constantly. This is state of mind. sunīcena means very low. Considering ourselves lower than a blade of grass, more tolerant than a tree. If there are a lack of facilities then our humility is gone.Then we can’t exhibit our humility. Caitanya Mahaprabhu has given an example of trees who toler-ate in all circumstances. Yesterday there was rain and we were looking for an umbrella everywhere. So to be humble is difficult, but we need to do difficult tasks.
In this verse there are 2 words amāninā and mānadena. Amani means one who doesn’t ex-pect to be honoured by others, but gives all respects to others. In such consciousness, one can chant. If this is not there, then we will think of the receptionist of a guest house as he didn’t give us the room first. This is the influence of modes of passion and ignorance. The Lord puts us in such situations that we should understand that we should practice what we have heard. Time is up. Wish you great success in chanting but we have to endeavour. Effort is necessary. When we endeavour results will come.

Be Bharatiya, Not Indian!
panca-tattvatmakam krishnam bhakta-rupa-svarupakam
bhaktavataram bhaktakhyam namami bhakta-saktikam
We all are fortunate. With great fortune it becomes possible even to hear the name Mayapur. And you all have actually reached here in this dhama so your fortune has crossed all the boundaries.
bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya janma yāra
janma sārthaka kari’ kara para-upakāra
Translation:
One who has taken his birth as a human being in the land of India [Bharata-varsa] should make his life successful and work for the benefit of all other people. ( Caitanya-caritamrita Adi 9.041)
Those who come in contact with the dhama get established with the dhama. They are fortunate. It is explained in the scriptures that every Dhama has a Dhami, as I also keep telling you from time to time. For sharir (body) there is shariri. If you are staying in a sharir then you are shariri. One who stays in a nivas ( house) is called a nivasi. We keep hearing this is Sant-nivas or some other nivas. Nivas – Nivasi, Sharir – Shariri, Deha – Dehi. For any dhama, a dhami can be termed as the first citizen. This Mayapur dhama is Gauranga Dhama.
Radha said in Goloka as the time for Their appearance was approaching, “I will not go to a place where Yamuna is not there. I will not go to a place where there is no Govardhana. I will not go to a place where there is no Vrndavana. I like to stay in Vrindavan only. Vrindavan is my Dhama. I am Dhami of Vrndavana.” Then Krsna said that everything had been made ready. “Vrindavan is there. Yamuna is there.”
First Krsna appeared and then later on Radharani also appeared. Radha and Krsna became anadi of Vrindavan. This thing we are talking about is Prakat-lila. It’s not that, once upon a time Vrindavan was not there and then suddenly it appeared. Vrindavan is eternal. All the Dhamas are eternal – Mayapur, Ayodhya, Jagannatha Puri. There was no time, when they didn’t exist. The way we were talking about the soul – that there was no time when the soul did not exist, nor God and so also there was no time that the dhamas didn’t exist. We have to make these connections.

We souls have an eternal relationship with the Lord and also with the Dhama. The way we belong to a particular country then we are from this particular country – vasi. We are Vrndavana vasi or Mayapur vasi where rivers like Ganga and Yamuna are flowing. If we are somewhere else in Delhi or Kanpur or Moscow then we are termed as pardesi. But which is our ‘matrabhumi’, motherland or fatherland? It is Vrndavana or Mayapur. Mayapur is non-different from Vrndavana. Returning here means coming back home. It’s returning to your own motherland. It’s termed as coming back home. In English there is a saying, “Your home is where your heart is.” Our heart is in Mayapur, so we have come here. It’s our motherland. In Uttar Pradesh they sometimes use the term, ‘ghar-vapasi’. When people had accepted other religions and become Christians or Muslims and when they are re-converted to Hinduism, it is termed as ghar-vapasi. You had gone astray and had become a Christian or Muslim, but now you have come back to your senses and come back home. This ghar-vapasi is correct to some extent. When we become Krsna conscious or Gauranga Mahaprabhu conscious, and then we physically reach Their Dhama. By becoming a Hindu we go to Tulajapur Bhavani, but heaven is not our home. Returning to heaven is not equal to returning home, because all the demigods and goddesses themselves are pardesis.
There are also some other so called dhamas. Durga-dhama, Chandi-dhama and Ganesh-dhama. Returning there cannot be termed as ghar-vapasi as the Hindus term it. There are various dhamas like Devi-dhama, Mahesh-dhama , Saket-dhama, Goloka-dhama or Vaikuntha-dhama. Some are Vaikuntha vasi , or someone may be Ayodhya vasi. Some may be devotees of Sri Rama like Murari Gupta. He was Hanuman. Hanuman incarnated 500 years back in Mayapur and became Murari Gupta. He was a worshipper of Sri Rama. Others tried to bring him back home. They advised him to become a devotee of Krsna. He accepted it prima faci, but that was not possible for him and he couldn’t sleep at night. The next day he met Gauranga Mahaprabhu and apologised, ‘I am sorry. I did give it a try, but I can’t leave Raghunatha. Please forgive me.’ Returning to Ayodhya is also ahar-vapasi.
bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya janma yāra

This is Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s order for the jīva. What he should do? If you are born in Bharat bhumi and if you want to reach complete perfection of the situation, then what should you do? kari’ kara para-upakāra. We should understand what is para-upakāra. How will you show favour on others? If we help them meet Krsna then we are doing them a favour. When these words of Caitanya Mahaprabhu are spoken, then those who are not born in India, they think Oh! We are born in Brazil. We are residents of Moscow. We belong to this place and that place. Does this mean that Caitanya Mahaprabhu expected only Indians to be preaching? The thing is that whoever starts becoming Krsna conscious, even though they may not have fully fledged become so, it may take their whole life to become Krsna Conscious.
bahūnāṁ janmanām ante
jñānavān māṁ prapadyate
vāsudevaḥ sarvam iti
sa mahātmā su-durlabhaḥ
Translation
After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare. ( Bhagavad-Gita 7.19)
As we attempt to become Krsna conscious with that itself we become Bharat-vasis. Bharatiyas. Every Indian is not a Bharatiya. In India there are too many Indians, but very few Bharatiyas. In ISKCON all the devotees wherever they may have taken birth, are all Bharatiyas.
cātur-varṇyaṁ mayā sṛṣṭaṁ
guṇa-karma-vibhāgaśaḥ
tasya kartāram api māṁ
viddhy akartāram avyayam
Translation:
According to the three modes of material nature and the work associated with them, the four divisions of human society are created by Me. And although I am the creator of this system, you should know that I am yet the non doer, being unchangeable. ( ( Bhagavad-Gita 4.13)
Just because one has taken birth in a Brahmin family, does not mean he can claim to be a brahmin. It will not then be in line with the scriptural injunctions as explained by sadhus. They say their name as Caturvedi, but ask them the names of the four Vedas and it will be difficult for them. They are not even aware of the names of the four Vedas. Someone is Trivedi and Dvivedi but if we go to see, most of them are Nirvedis. No one can claim that he is a Brahman just because he has taken birth in a Brahmin family. Similarly just because someone is born in Bharat he cannot claim to be Bharatiya. One person was addressing a gathering. He introduced himself, ‘I am not Indian, I am Bharatiya.’ He had developed so much hatred to being called Indian. He did not like to be called Indian. Once Ekalavya Prabhu while we were discussing exclaimed, “I am Indian! I am Indian! My initiation took place in Vrindavan in Bharat, so wherever I was initiated that was my birth. This way my birth was in India. Second birth, I became dvija. First birth was in France, but as my initiation was in India so I am Bharatiya.” Be Indian. Buy Indian!That’s way they say.
In Bharat we have our own culture, dress codes , diet, musical instruments with different emotions. If tomorrow there is some Indian girl wearing jeans, can we call her Bharatiya? She is wearing jeans and even came to Mayapur like that. The diet is not like that , dress is not like that , thinking pattern is not like that, education is not like that . We have the Vrindavan Institute for Higher education, Mayapur Institute for Higher Education. But those who are Indians want to go to Canada, Australia to study going there. Study what? Just dead matter. Somethings are matter (jad) and some are live (chetan) . Whenever there is Kali-yuga , they study the gross in great detail. Those who are Brahmin or Vaisnavas study the subtle things. One studies matter, the other one studies living things about the soul and paramatma, about dhamas. They take training for that. Srila Prabhupad’s Hare Krishna movement is preaching Krsna conscious and Bharatiyata all over the world. Bha means prakash. One who gets light is called Bhaskar. One of the names of the Sun is Bhaskar, one who gives light. Bha-rat, rat means get engrossed. Those who are engrossed in light , whose lives are enlightened.
Tamaso ma jyotir gamay. ma means one which is not. Don’t remain in the darkness but move towards light. Prakash or light…..
kṛṣṇa — sūrya-sama; māyā haya andhakāra
yāhāṅ kṛṣṇa, tāhāṅ nāhi māyāra adhikāra
Translation:
“Krsna is compared to sunshine, and maya is compared to darkness. Wherever there is sunshine, there cannot be darkness. As soon as one takes to Krsna consciousness, the darkness of illusion (the influence of the external energy) will immediately vanish. ( Caitanya -caritamrita, Madhya 22.31)
The source of light is the Lord. Only those who move towards the Lord or get engrossed in the Lord can be termed as Bharatiya. With this understanding we will have to accept that all the members of the Hare Krishna movement all over the world are really by quality if not by birth but practically they are Bharatiyas. Most of the Indians have not crossed this stage.
Srila Prabhupada propagated this Krishna Consciousness movement everywhere. British Raj was also going on for 150 – 200 years. They had made Bharat their slave. But they didn’t recognize the real Bharat. When Srila Prabhupada went all over the world, he also went to London. Once in a press conference he was asked, why he had come there. That time Prabhupada answered, “You people had also come to our country, so I have also come. Isn’t it similar?” Then further Prabhupada said, “You came to our country and all of your viceroys robbed our country by taking all the valuables from our country to your country. But the real wealth of our country was not taken and not even recognised by you. Because you have asked , I am telling that I have come here to do a home delivery of the real wealth of Bharat.” When he was asked Which is that wealth he explained , the culture of Bharat , scriptures of Bharat like Vedas, Puranas, Bhagavad-gita, Bhagavatam, Ramayan. This is the wealth of our country.

I have come here to deliver this real wealth of Bharat. Then Prabhupad delivered and then they accepted this wealth in their lives all over the world. Thus they are becoming Bharatiyaa and Krsna conscious. With that their love is getting established with different Dhamas like Vrndavana, Mayapur, Jagannatha Puri . They are developing a relationship with the Dhamis over there. They are accepting the lifestyles of these places. No meat eating! No intoxication! No illicit sex! No gambling! They are observing these rules. Kali has tied up the entire world, but these devotees are becoming free from such ties. Our devotees don’t say we are from this nation or that nation, but they feel where do we belong to? We are Vrndavana vasi, Brajvasi, Mayapur vasi .
Many devotees come to Delhi or Kolkata and from there where do they go? They go to Vrndavana, Mayapur for darsana, Parikrama and then where do they go? Back to airports. Back to their temple. They don’t come as tourists to see Taj Mahal. Devotees of ISKCON must be spitting looking at Taj Mahal. Trump is also coming and they will take him with pride to show the Taj Mahal. What do they want to show the world leaders! Taj Mahal. They will not take him to Mathura to show Krsna Janmasthan but they will take him to kabrasthan to show a tomb which is a landmark of someone’s kama. Shahajahan who made tomb of his wife.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada who recognised the real Bharat. Then he introduced that identity of Bharat all over the world. His representatives , his followers all of you who are hearing from 440 places , all of us we should say , ‘garva see kaho hum Hindu hai? This Hindu business is all khichadi. ‘Garva se kaho hum Mayapur vasi hai’. ‘Garva se kaho hum Vrndavana vasi hai’.

The Soul’s Relationship with Krsna is Eternal
We have Ekanath Gaur Prabhu from Mongolia who is the only Brahmachari in Mongolia. He has been sent by HH Bhaktivaibhava Swami to acquire training in Noida. Many Russian faces are here. Faces keep on changing. Our real identity is not this face. The body may or may not be there at any moment of time.
dehino ‘smin yatha dehe
kaumaram yauvanam jara
tatha dehantara-praptir
dhiras tatra na muhyati
Translation:
As the embodied soul continually passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. The self-realized soul is not bewildered by such a change. (BG 2.13)
If you see your photo from childhood then you won’t identify yourself. When I found one of my photographs from the friends’ circle of my college days, I was searching for myself in it. After searching for a long time I concluded that I’m not there in it. But after that, it came to my knowledge that I am there in that photograph. Bodies keep on changing. We chant so that we can realize our true identity.

Sometimes we were not human as well, as we find in the case of Bharat Maharaja. Before being Jadabharat, he was a deer and King Bharat. Japa is for recognizing the soul and Krsna and to realize our relationship with Krsna. So keep on chanting. This is the right thing to do for human beings in Kaliyuga. If we were in another age, we would follow some other process. Meditation in Satya-yuga, yajna in Tretā-yuga, Deity worship in Dvāpara and kirtana in Kali.
kṛte yad dhyāyato viṣṇuṁ
tretāyāṁ yajato makhaiḥ
dvāpare paricaryāyāṁ
kalau tad dhari-kīrtanāt
Translation:
Whatever result was obtained in Satya-yuga by meditating on Viṣṇu, in Tretā-yuga by performing sacrifices, and in Dvāpara-yuga by serving the Lord’s lotus feet can be obtained in Kali-yuga simply by chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra.( SB 12.3.52)
Lord appears as Gauranarayan in the age of Kali. Time is eternal and it is never annihilated. Time keeps on annihilating us, but time itself is never destroyed.
mrtyuh sarva-haras caham
udbhavas ca bhavisyatam
kirtih srir vak ca narinam
smrtir medha dhrtih ksama
Translation:
I am all-devouring death, and I am the generator of all things yet to be. Among women, I am fame, fortune, speech, memory, intelligence, faithfulness and patience.(BG 10.34)
Lord told Arjuna in the 2nd chapter of Bhagavad-Gita that there was no time when we were not there. One Mataji here is 19 years. Was her body not there 19 years before? It was there. This is the philosophy behind chanting and we should understand it. We are souls and eternal. Lord, prakrti, soul, time are eternal, but karma is not eternal. Srila Baladev Vidyabhushan explains it. Souls are eternal. We eternally exist. There is pralaya for this body. Laya means destruction.
bhuta-gramah sa evayam
bhutva bhutva praliyate
ratry-agame ‘vasah partha
prabhavaty ahar-agame
Translation:
Again and again, the day comes, and this host of beings is active; and again the night falls, O Partha, and they are helplessly dissolved.(BG 8.19)
Bhutva means taking birth, again and again in different forms and gets destroyed. This is regarding the body. Soul can’t be subjected to this. We can’t tell when we came into existence.
mamaivāṁśo jīva-loke
jīva-bhūtaḥ sanātanaḥ
manaḥ-ṣaṣṭhānīndriyāṇi
prakṛti-sthāni karṣati
Translation:
The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind. (BG 15.7)
We are part and parcel of the Lord. We do not belong to our mothers and fathers of the body. They gave us the body, but we souls belong to Lord. We are eternal like the Lord. Creation and annihilation are not there in the case of the soul. This takes place in the case of the body. Our body keeps on changing every moment and not only at the time of death. Medical researchers have also said that atoms and molecules of this body are made of 5 material elements. They say that after 7 years, whatever is there in this body like earth, water, air, fire, ether, whole gets transformed. They get changed completely. Elements or ingredients get recycled, but the soul is the same. Srila Prabhupada also explained this.
The mother gives birth to a small baby of 2.5-3 kg. After 3 years he becomes 10-20 kgs. At the age of 40 years, one becomes too heavy to lift. Even as a child grows still the mother keeps on thinking about the same child even though the body has changed. But this affection is related to the soul. The same body is not there to which the mother had given birth, but the relationship with the soul is there. That’s the reason the mother always thinks about the child whether he is young or becomes old. Real affection has to be there for the soul. Basically we have a relationship with the Lord and we have relationships with each other also as we have a joint family of all living entities. Just like there’s a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, etc. In the same way we are related to each other. Living entities try to love the soul, but due to illusion, he keeps his love limited only on a bodily level. One soul loves another soul. Hence when the soul is not there within the body, no one loves that body. The body was embraced earlier when the soul was there, but once the soul leaves no one loves that body. From this, it has been concluded that there is no love without a soul. There is no question of love without a soul. The body is made up of 5 elements. How can a soul love the earth. The soul is always attracted to another soul or super soul. In this way we are related to the Lord and each other.
In this universe, the body comes in between the souls and also in between the soul and the super soul. The soul remains bewildered in illusion. We think we are the body and short circuit happens. The connection between the Lord and us breaks. The relationship between both of us is eternal, but due to the illusion, we give more importance to our body. We become self-centred. When we see ourselves in the mirror we should think that we are not this body.

This is the essence or knowledge of the Gita. This knowledge and thought are essential for all of us. Then there is behaviour that shapes our thoughts and words and then we can preach. We are supposed to be well behaved. This is etiquette or culture. We should follow it. Our thoughts will correct our behaviour. This is food for thought, some nourishment for the brain. Chew it, digest and assimilate it. This is the wealth of knowledge.
dharma-sthapana-hetu sadhura vyavahara
puri-gosanira ye acarana, sei dharma sara
Translation:
“A devotee’s behavior establishes the true purpose of religious principles. The behavior of Madhavendra Puri Gosvami is the essence of such religious principles.”(CC Madhya 17.185)
So our all actions should be as per dharma so you can establish dharma in our life, family, and community with our behaviour.
yāre dekha, tāre kaha ‘kṛṣṇa’-upadeśa
āmāra ājñāya guru hañā tāra’ ei deśa
Translation:
“Instruct everyone to follow the orders of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa as they are given in the Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. In this way become a spiritual master and try to liberate everyone in this land.” (CC Madhya 7.128)

The compassion of Lord Shiva
Shivaratri is being celebrated today in Mayapur. Here Shiva and Parvati have an eternal abode. Advaita Ācārya is an expansion of Mahavisnu as well as Sada Shiva. There are three Visnus namely Karanodakashayi Visnu, Garbhodakashayi Visnu, and Kshirodakashayi Visnu. Maha-Visnu is an expansion of sankarsana. So Sada Shiva is an expansion of Maha-Visnu. So Sada Shiva appears in the form of Advaita Ācārya and has become a member of Pancatattva.
pancha-tattvatmakam krishnam
bhakta-rupa-svarupakam
bhaktavataram bhaktakhyam
namami bhakta-shaktikam
Translation:
Let me offer my obeisances unto Lord Sri Krsna, who has manifested Himself in five as a devotee, expansion of a devotee, incarnation of a devotee, pure devotee, and devotional energy. (CC Adi-Lila, 7.6)
Advaita Ācārya has been called a bhakta avatar. Advaita meaning that He is non-different from Gauranga. There is no question of impersonalism. Shivaji, as we were saying yesterday, he is the greatest amongst the Vaisnavas.
nimna-gānāṁ yathā gaṅgā
devānām acyuto yathā
vaiṣṇavānāṁ yathā śambhuḥ
purāṇānām idam tathā
Translation:
Just as the Gaṅgā is the greatest of all rivers, Lord Acyuta the supreme among deities and Lord Śambhu [Śiva] the greatest of Vaiṣṇavas, so Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the greatest of all Purāṇas. (SB 12.13.16)
He knows that Visnu is the greatest amongst all. Worshippers of Visnu are called as Vaisnavas.
bahunam janmanam ante
jnanavan mam prapadyate
vasudevah sarvam iti
sa mahatma su-durlabhah
Translation:
After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare.( BG 7.19)
Shivaji himself is a maha Vaisnava.He worships Visnu and hence he is Vaishnava. Bhagavatam says this and he is a worshipper of Visnu. There are many tattvas out of which Shiva-tattva is there which is difficult to understand. Shiva is neither Visnu nor jiva- tattva. He is Shiva- tattva.
kṣīraṁ yathā dadhi vikāra-viśeṣa-yogāt
sañjāyate na hi tataḥ pṛthag asti hetoḥ
yaḥ śambhutām api tathā samupaiti kāryād
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
Translation:
Lord Śiva is considered to be like yogurt (dahi). Yogurt is nothing but transformed milk; nonetheless, yogurt cannot be accepted as milk. Similarly, Lord Śiva holds almost all the powers of Lord Viṣṇu, and he is also above the qualities of the living entity, but he is not exactly like Viṣṇu, just as yogurt, although transformed milk, is not exactly like milk.(Brahma-saṁhitā 5.45)
If Visnu is milk, then Shivaji is curd. Yogurt can be made from milk, but milk can’t be made from yogurt. Milk is a source of the yogurt. Lord Shiva’s many activities resemble the activities of Vaisnavas. He worships Lord Sankarsana. He chants the holy names on beads with his 5 heads.

Mahadeva Pancha mukhe Rama Rama Hare hare
Mahadeva (Shiva) sings with five mouths ‘Rama Rama Hare Hare’. He worships and meditates on Lord Sankarsana who is actually an expansion of Sankarsana known as Anantsesa. The 5 expansions of Balarama have been explained at the start of Caitanya-caritamrta. They are :
(1) Mahā-saṅkarṣaṇa,
(2) Kāraṇodakaśāyī,
(3) Garbhodakaśāyī,
(4) Kṣīrodakaśāyī, and
(5) Śeṣa. Lord Shiva worship Anantasesa.
The entire material world is situated on the hoods of Anantasesa. When it is the time of annihilation, then only Shivaji doesn’t do the annihilation. Similarly creation is not done by Brahma only. Sarga or creation is started by the Lord and taken ahead by Brahma. In the same way, Shivaji is assisted by Anantasesa. Fires come out of the hoods of Anantasesa. There are 4 types of annihilation as stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam.
There are 11 different expansions of Shivaji. There are 11 Rudras and Rudranis. Here in Mayapur, there is Rudradvipa, where these 11 Rudras and Rudranis stay. Shivaji expands in this way.He is not Visnu tattva. Brahma is jiva tattva. You can become Brahma, but no one can become Shiva. Mahesh Dhama is the eternal abode of Shiva. Shivaji’s half abode is in Vaikuntha and it’s lower portion is in this material world. Sada Shiva lives in Vaikuntha, exactly similar to Vaikuntha. In the lower portion, Kalabhairava stays. When we say that Advaita Ācārya is Sadashiv it means he is a resident of Vaikuntha. But Shivaji who performs the tandava dance at the time of annihilation is different and stays in the lower portion in this material world. At the time of annihilation, there is a jungle in the mangal which is an act of ignorance. All the ghosts and hobgoblins accompany Shivaji in this lower portion.
Shivaji has become part of the mission of Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s movement in the form of Advaita Ācārya. He became Sankaracarya before 1100 or 1200 years ago. He just followed the instruction of the Lord to preach Mayavada. He didn’t commit any mistake. That mistake is forgiven. The same Sankaracarya becomes Advaita Ācārya. He is a Vaisnava and he is very merciful and by his mercy, we can get Caitanya Nitai.
doya koro sita-pati adwaita gosai
tava kripa-bale pai caitanya-nitai
Translation:
My dear Advaita Prabhu, husband of Sita, You are so kind. Please be merciful to me. If You are kind to me, naturally Lord Caitanya and Nityananda will also be kind to me.(Sri Krsna Caitanya Prabhu Doya Koro More” by Narottam Das Thakura )
Sita-pati means Advaita Acarya who is the husband of Sita Thakurani. He appeared 50 years before Caitanya Mahaprabhu and felt compassion for the fallen souls.
yada yada hi dharmasya
glanir bhavati bharata
abhyutthanam adharmasya
tadatmanam srjamy aham
Translation:
Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion—at that time I descend Myself. ( BG 4.7)
Seeing the condition of the world, Advaita Ācārya appeared. By seeing that there is a decline in religious practice he thought that now its time for the appearance of the Lord. In Santipur, on the banks of the Ganges, he worships Saligram by offering Ganga water and Tulasi. Haridas Thakur who was also there along with Him started to dance as Gauranga appeared. Such connections are there of Sada Shiva and Advaita Ācārya. We should thank Lord Sada Shiva who is in the form of Advaita Ācārya. If Advaita Ācārya wouldn’t have been, then Gaura Nitai wouldn’t have appeared. He brought Gaura Nitai to this world and hence we also came to Mayapur. Keep on doing kirtana and Japa.

Shiva also yerns for Darshan of Krsna!

Today we have 418 participants. We welcome you all and we are happy that you are all chanting. Seeing you chanting, my mind and heart gets pleased. Hari Hari!
This is the dharma (religion) of living beings. It is nama sankirtana.
harer nama harer nama
harer namaiva kevalam
kalau nasty eva nasty eva
nasty eva gatir anyatha (Chaitanya Charitamrita, Adi-lila 7.76)
TRANSLATION
“For spiritual progress in this age of kali, there is no alternative, there is no alternative, there is no alternative to the holy name, the holy name, the holy name of the Lord.”
So, when we chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra, then by doing so and also by dancing, we become religious and we truly follow dharma.
When Lord sees this, then Lord and Guru get pleased. Gurus and Vaisnavas get pleased knowing that the Lord is getting pleased because of such chanting.
Is there Sivaratri today? Vallabhi Mataji from Mauritius is reporting this. There is Ganga talav or lake over there which was created by taking little water from original Ganga. Ganga talav has become a holy place over there. There is not much of population in Mauritius. It is 1.2 million or 12 lakh. They have as many number of people as we have in Solapur. Few of them are becoming Krsna Conscious. There are few Maharashtrians, Christians & Muslims people also. There is Vitthal Temple and Marathi schools over there where Marathi language is being taught. There is Dindi and also MBC, which is Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation which also includes Marathi channels. When I go there, I sing songs of Tukaram Maharaj and give lectures in Marathi on that channel. There is everything over there.
When Hare Krsna devotees reach over there in Shivaratri, they do kirtan, book distribution and prasad distribution ‘Food for Life’ for 3 days. When I went to Ganga talav, I was asked to plant a tree. Few Mauriticean devotees are also listening.
Lord Siva’s great festival, Maha Shivaratri, is being celebrated today and tomorrow. Bhagavatam asserts that Lord Siva is also an incarnation of the Lord, Gunavatar. Sambhutam gatah. Krishnatam gatah.
In the same way, Lord Brahma explained in Brahma-Samhita
ksiram yatha dadhi vikara-visesa-yogat
sanjayate na hi tatah prthag asti hetoh
yah sambhutam api tatha samupaiti karyād
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami
(Brahmasamhita 5.45)
TRANSLATION
“Govinda, the supreme personality of Godhead, assumes the form of Lord Śiva for the special purpose of material transactions. Lord Śiva is considered to be like yogurt. Milk changes into yogurt when mixed with a yogurt culture.
So, milk is Krsna and yogurt is Śiva. Like yogurt does not have any separate existence. Yogurt comes from milk. In the same way, Śiva comes from Lord Krishna.
vasati dasana-sikhare dharani tava lagna
sasini kalanka-kaleva nimagna
kesava dhrita-sukara-rupa jaya jagadisa hare
Translation – 0 Kesava! O Lord of the universe! O Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of a boar! All glories to You!
The earth, which had become immersed in the Garbhodaka Ocean at the bottom of the universe, sits fixed
upon the tip of Your tusk like a spot upon the moon. ( Dashavatar stotra , verse 3 by Jaydev Goswami)
Krishna takes form of Varahadeva to take out earth when it falls in Garbhodaka Ocean.
When there is creation, maintenance and annihilation, then it is done by Gunavatars or 3 forms. We call them God. G stands for Generator or Lord Brahma, O stands for Operator or Lord Vishnu and D stands for Destroyer or Lord Śiva. So, the work of Lord Śiva is to destroy the whole universe. When mode of ignorance is active, then the whole universe is destroyed. In this way Śiva’s glories are unlimited. We Gaudiya Vaisnavas know him as Vaisnava as it is mentioned in S.B. in 12th canto.

purananam idam tatha (Srimad Bhagavatam 12.13.16)
TRANSLATION
Ganga is the greatest among all rivers. Primeval Lord Krishna is the greatest among all Lords. Srimad Bhagavad is the greatest among all scriptures. In the same way, Lord Śiva is greatest among all the Vaisnavas.
Lord Siva and goddess Parvati are an ideal couple as they are always engaged in discussing the glories of the Lord.

There is Rudra dwip in Nabadwip of Lord Siva and there is Bel-vana over there. . There is Harihar Kshetrea also. Half is Hari and Half is Har. Harihar is one and also different. Hari only becomes Har. Then there is Seemanta Dwip where Siva and Parvati keep on hearing the glories of the Lord. They came over there from their abode and performed austerities. Mother Parvati took and applied dust of lotus feet of Gauranga Mahaprabhu in between parting of her hair.
That is why it is called Seemantadwip as parting of the hair is called Seemanta. Then Godruma dwip is there which is known for kirtana. Lord Śiva performs kirtana over here. This dwip is also called Mahavaranasi. There is Samadhi of Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur. There is Pancanana talava also. Pancanana, Panca means five and anana means face. One who has 5 mouths is Lord Siva.
brahma bole chatur mukhe krishna krishna hare hare
mahadeva pancha mukhe rama rama hare hare
TRANSLATION
Brahma sings “krishna krishna hare hare” in ecstasy with four mouths and Siva ecstatically sings “rama rama hare hare” with five mouths.
Lord Siva performs kirtana with his 5 mouths and takes darshan of the Lord with his 15 eyes. That also remains less for him to take darshan of the Lord. Hari Hari!
In Vrindavana, we have Gopeshwar Mahadeva, where Lord Siva took the form of a Gopi and was allowed entry in the rasa dance with the Lord. In Mathura, there are 4 places of Lord Siva which is called Kshetrapals. We take darshan of them during Mathura Parikrama. Then in Govardhan, we have Chakreshwar Mahadeva, in Nand Gram, we have Aseswar Mahadeva and in Kamvana, we have Kameshwar Mahadeva. Lord Siva is dikpal in Mathura in all the 4 directions and Kshetrapal in Vrindavana or Braj Mandal. Hari Hari!
There is also Asheshwar Mahadeva who was looking forward to have darshan of Yashoda nandan. But Mother Yashoda got afraid of seeing Lord Siva’s appearance with garland of skulls, snakes in neck and scorpion in ears. She didn’t let him take the darshan of the Lord. Due to which Lord Siva started to lament that he didn’t get darshan of the Lord. When Lord Siva had gone from there then Kanhaiya also started to cry. He was not stopping. Then other Gopis started discussing and suggested Yashoda to let Lord Siva take darshan of Krsna and Krsna take darshan of Siva. When they took darshan of each other, Kanhiya stopped crying. In the same way, Nimai also used to stop crying when Hare Krishna kirtana was performed.
So, our Lord Siva is like this. We should not commit offences at his feet. We commit offences thinking him as demigod. So, Lord Brahma and Siva are not the same as Krishna but yet they are non different from Krishna also. Hari Hari!
So, we should offer obeisances to his feet that may we also get bhakti and similar taste in hearing and chanting as Lord Siva.

Lord Siva and other Mahabhagvats like Lord Brahma, Śukadeva, Narada Muni come when there is Gaura arati. They dance and perform kirtana. Their voices get choked up when they sing arati.

Transalation- I offer my respectful obeisances unto the Vaishnava devotees of the Lord. They are just like desire trees and can fulfill the desires of everyone, and they are full of compassion for the fallen conditioned souls.

vaishnavebhyo namo namaha. You are the Vaishnav who uplift and purify those who is fallen, so please accept my humble obeisances. Everyone’s prayer could be little different. One can pray differently. There can be various prayers. There could be different prayers of each one. Each person prays according to the level at which he has reached in his devotion , as per own realisations and emotions and bhava.
I was also praying in a light mood. Yesterday we were listening to liberation (uddhar) of Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya. How Chaitanya Mahaprabhu modified the thinking process of Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya.
Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya explained vedanta sutra to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu for 7 days. But Chaitanya Mahaprabhu didn’t hear, or even if he had heard he had not changed. He didn’t become mayavadi. Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya was thinking the sampradaya in which you have accepted initiation is not that good. I will make you first class sanyasi. Whatever knowledge I have of Vedant, I will explain that to you and by that you will become a disciple of first class sampradaya. With this objective he was teaching Him for seven days. But then Chaitanya Mahaprabhu modified him, to Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya. There was a review of the seven days. Scriptures written by Shri Vyas Dev were reviewed by Shri Narad ji and after that he explained whatever were the shortcomings of those & faults in them.
yatha dharmadayas cartha
muni-varyanukirtitah
na tatha vasudevasya
mahima hy anuvarnitah
Translation-. Although, great sage, you have very broadly described the four principles beginning with religious performances, you have not described the glories of the Supreme Personality, Vasudeva. ( S.B. 1.5.9)
You have written so many things, you have talked about 4 purushartha, but where is the glorification of Lord Vasudev? It’s very less in these writings. You have written Puranas, Mahabharata, Vedant Sutra, but there was scarcity of glorification of Lord Vasudev. Narad Muni pointed this out after review. Shri Vyasdev understood the shortcomings and he revised his work and wrote another scripture which is Srimad Bhagavatam. All glories to Srimad Bhagavatam!! Similarly Sri Krisna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu liberated Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya. He not only liberated him but he made him devotee. Sri Krsna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu stayed for 2 months in Jagannath Puri. Immediately after accepting the renounced order of life he first went to Jagannath Puri and stayed there for 2 months. Main objective or homework for Him that time was to liberate Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya. Krishnadas Kaviraj Goswami has said Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in his first visit to Jagannath Puri he only did liberation of Bhattacharya. For two months he taught, made him understand & uplifted him from his concepts. From myavad he lifted him to the level of ‘Achintya Bhedabhed tatva.’
Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya was not very attached to Prasad as they considered eating Prasad is also a Maya. I was also affected by such Maya. We all are affected by it at some stage. In 1972 when I had not completely turned as devotees and still I was attending college wearing pants and shirts, that time Hare Krishna devotees used to call me to take Prasad. Please come! Have Prasad. While taking the Prasad so much glorification of the Prasad used to occur, that, it is so nice! It’s sweet! I used to think these devotees are glorifying the food so much!! In their thoughts there is so much glorification of the food and they are also telling that to me, this is Maya. What is this? There is also Vairagya-vidya. Mayavadis are renunciates. Brahma sattya jagat mithya’ jagat mitthya means everything is mitthya. Even the food is mitthya. I was also impressed by such thoughts, that why these devotees are doing so much glorification of the Prasad. We should not do that.
When Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu reached the house of Bhattacharya, he was was there itself. Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya didn’t have any attachment for Prasad. Just that we have to eat it. Without it we can’t survive.

We have to eat , but there are no emotions, love, attachments for it. But when Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was honouring the Prasad, & this was the time when Sarvabhouma Bhattacharyas reformation is going on. One day Chaitanya Mahaprabhu had gone to Jagannath in the temple , may be for mangal Aarti. After attending the arati pujari over there offered garland of the lord and some Prasad to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu remembered Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya and then he just ran towards the house of sarvabhauma Bhattacharya. It was a early morning time. Chanting of names of the Lord was also going on immediately after getting up. He saw that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has arrived to his house, he then came out. Then Chaitanya Mahaprabhu put the garland of Jagannath around his neck and gave him Jagannath Prasad. On receiving the Prasad Bhattacharya immediately honoured it. He had not even washed his mouth or cleaned his teeth. He didn’t do

Translation – O brothers! This material body is a network of ignorance, and the senses are one’s deadly enemies, for they throw the soul into the ocean of material sense enjoyment. Among the senses, the tongue is the most voracious and verily wicked; it is very difficult to conquer the tongue in this world.
Maha prasade means in Mahaprasad, Govinde means in the Govind , nama brahmani means in the name there is Brahma & vaishnave means in Vaishnavas, those people don’t have faith, who are they? Swalpa punyavatam – who’s pious credits are very less. They haven’t done much pious activities either in this birth or previous births. Their accumulation of pious credits are very less, and so they don’t have any faith in the Prasad. In the beginning Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya didn’t have any faith in Prasad. But when Chaitanya Mahaprabhu gave him his anaga-sanga ( physical association) , & he was getting sat-sang by that. Punta sravan kirtan was also going on, then

This in itself is a very pious activity. To hear Bhagavatam daily is also very pious activity. Sarvarvabhaum Bhattacharya was gaining such pious credits in association of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. This way Chaitanya Mahaprabhu reformed Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya. Lord himself became devotee-director, counselor and mentor. SarvabhaumbBhattacharya was mentee and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was mentor , are you getting this? Councilor & councilee. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu took charge of Bhattacharya. Hari Hari!!
My prayer which I was mentioning in the beginning was , O Lord ! The way You reformed Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya, you reformed his sadhana or spiritual practises. Sadhana bhakti also has two parts. Vaidhi sadhana & Raganuga sadhana. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu made Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya follow both ways, initially of the Vaidhi sadhana & then of the Raganuga sadhana. Me too ! Me too!! Lord you have reformed Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya. He was liberated. He became blessed. He gained so much of the spiritual wealth & ecame the pious soul. He earned Harinam dhan & Prem-dhan. With the help of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, in which Nityananda Prabhu and Gopinath aacharya were also instrumental.
Our prayers are also, O Mahaprabhu! Please uplift and liberate us also. We also go on having individualistic views, jata mat Tata path! This isam that isam without any proper dialogue. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has bestowed lot of mercy on all of us, but receiving of lot of mercy is yet to be done. We do chanting , but still we don’t do it like crying of a baby. In the morning our Nimai (son of devotee) was crying & I was thinking ‘I wish I could cry like Nimai!’. He was crying for the mother. We also should cry for mother.
aparadha-sunya ho’ye loha krishna-nama
krishna mata krishna pita krishna dhana prana
Translation – Chant Krishna’s name without offense. Accept Krishna as your mother. Accept Krishna as your father. Accept
Krishna as your wealth and your life.

You also will be liberated if you can cry like a baby.
Commentry on Hare Krishna Mahamantra says in one of the prayer is
Bhajan jnana danen mam mochay….
Mam means to me, mochay means liberate , purify O! Mahamantra. To whom we are praying, to Hare Krishna mahamantra, because Harinam is Harinam Prabhu. While chanting we should pray this way. This is explained by Gopal Guru Goswami, who was associate of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in Jagannathpuri. He has written commentary on Hare Krishna Mahamantra. Please liberate me. How?? Bhajan jnana danen. Bhajan Dan , how one should do bhajan? What are the do’s of Bhajan & what are the don’ts in Bhajan? Please give me charity of this Knowledge. Let the opening of this Bhajan-rahasya ( Mistry of bhajans) be done. Then with such wealth of knowledge I can chant perfectly. Give me knowledge. Give me guidance, so that I also can get liberated. Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya was liberated by lord Chaitanya personally. I am also chanting

To utter this much is very easy. But how to chant? For this is whole manual. Like manual comes with every instrument, about how to start or stop it, like that there is manual for japa also. So may we become eligible to get that manual. Such prayer we should be doing.
In this zoom conference we try to make some such efforts. How to pray to the Lord, bhajan jnana danen… he liberated Bhattacharya personally, but it’s not necessary that for everyone lord will do it personally. He can get it done through someone. He will make someone as medium for it. Lord sometimes does on his own and sometimes he gets it done through someone. He has said
brahmanda bhramite kona bhagyavan jiva
guru-krsna-prasade paya bhakti-lata-bija
Translation – “According to their karma, all living entities are wandering throughout the entire universe. Some of them are being elevated to the upper planetary systems, and some are going down into the lower planetary systems. Out of many millions of wandering living entities, one who is very fortunate gets an opportunity to associate with a bona fide spiritual master by the grace of Krsna. By the mercy of both Krsna and the spiritual master, such a person receives the seed of the creeper of devotional service. ( Chaitanya Charitamrita , madhya 19.151)
Lord has made those souls fortunate,how? By sending Guru to them. Then where Guru sends them? He sends them to Krsna. This way Guru keeps making efforts to reform us. This attempt is actually of the Lord himself. Srila Prabhupad ki Jay! Shri Prabhupad did these efforts and all the previous aacharyas also did that. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu himself became an acharya.

Bhajan jnanen mam mochay…
We should understand that such arrangements have been done by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu & Nityananda Prabhu. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who is all attractive makes somebody as (Nimitta) immediate cause. He wanted to make Arjun as Nimitta , but who is the one who destroyed all the enemies? He is Lord himself. He himself has explained it in eleventh chapter of Bhagvadgeeta. In Marathi we say , karta-karavita. Karta means the doer & karavita means the one who gets it done. One who does & one who gets it done is who? Lord only!! He did For someone like Sarvabhouma Bhattacharya himself liberated for someone he got it done through somebody. Shad-goswami Vrinda & aacharyas of the parampara uplift others. But in actuality this is done by Lord himself. He wants to uplift more & more souls to get uplifted. He gives them nama, instructs them to chant.

Then there is
“tad viddhi praṇipatena
pariprasnena sevaya
upadeksyanti te jnanam
jnaninas tattva-darsinah
Translation – Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth. ( Bhagvadgeeta 4.34)
Then there is
yare dekha, tare kaha ‘krsna’-upadesa
amara ājnaya guru hana tara’ ei desa
Translation- “Instruct everyone to follow the orders of Lord Sri Krsna as they are given in the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam. In this way become a spiritual master and try to liberate everyone in this land.” (Chaitanya Charitamrita madhya, 7.128)
He wants everyone of you to become Guru. All of you become Gurus.
He also says
bharata-bhumite haila manusya janma yara
janma sarthaka kari’ kara para-upakara
Translation – bharata-bhumite haila manusya janma yara
janma sarthaka kari’ kara para-upakara
( Chaitanya Charitamrita adi 9.41)
In educating a child , whatever one family can do is not considered as enough. For all round growth or wholesome growth of the child only one family can’t do it . Whole village is required for that. Then it is possible to have complete growth physically mentally and in all ways. Gaon Kari the Rav Kay Kari. ( What one person can do , which whole village is required for. ) Similarly , our reform , change,& japa-reform Lord does. But other are also required. We need friends, we need sadhu-sang . We need that atmosphere, so many parameters are required. Either we are gruhasthas or renunciates or Brahmachari.
Samsiddhir Hari toshanam
Achieving success of Varnashram is in pleasing the Lord Hari. Hari toshanam.
When Hari helps. We need spiritual master as well as god-brothers & god-sisters. We need whole society of vaishnavas. International society, if we have whole society of devotees then it is comparatively easy. Such arrangements Srila Prabhupad has done in this ISKCON. Gauranga and Nityananda followers are gathering. Our prayers Lord has listened & is listening. If something’s are remaining then uttering of mahamantra is a prayer in itself. We should be thinking this way. If we have some shortfalls, how can we rectify it? Bhajan jnana danen mam mochay…. O lord! O Harinaam Prabhu, Bhajan jnana danen mam mochay….
Mam – to me. There are 5 words. There sequence should be proper & there should be such feelings in the heart. This is prayer. Lord makes such arrangements & we should take advantage of it. In Lords arrangements there is indirectness. We don’t observe directly that Lord is distributing bhajan, jnana but indirectly Lord does accepts your prayers if they are offered sincerely. Lord doesn’t have any option then . If child is crying, while mother is busy she listens, but then child stops in between, then she remains busy in her household chores. But then child cries she thinks of breastfeeding the child, but then he stops crying again, & then mother has tons of things to do so she keeps doing her household work.
This way if child cries & stops in between then she doesn’t feel the need to attend to him in hurry. But if child starts crying & doesn’t stop only, goes on crying non-stop then mother is not left with any option but to attend to him immediately. Similarly when we pray , if we do it ,& then we stop praying or forget about it immediately , then Lord is not sitting ideal without doing anything. He attends to it. But if someone keeps praying without break then Lord also is not left with any option & he does listen to it. There can be little delay in Lord s response but the prayers will definitely not go unanswered. Lord calculates everything, when to bestow the fruit’s of our previous karma’s ,

Mayapur Festival – Real United Nation
Today is Vijaya Ekadashi that is why 500 devotees are chanting with us. From Delhi Noida we have Krsna Kanaiha who is my youngest disciple. From Mauritius we have Vishakha Mataji. We say we are from Mauritius or Delhi, but we are from Mayapur. We are living in foreign now. Our motherland and fatherland is Mayapur and Vrndavana Dhama.
krsna mata krsna pita, krsna pran dhan
Krsna is our mother and father. Ganga and Yamuna also flow in the spiritual world and belong to that place. We are conditioned to think that I’m from this country, I am a man or a woman. I’m here today and might not be in the evening also.
mām upetya punar janma duḥkhālayam aśhāśhvatam
nāpnuvanti mahātmānaḥ sansiddhiṁ paramāṁ gatāḥ
Translation
Having attained Me, the great souls are no more subject to rebirth in this world, which is transient and full of misery, because they have attained the highest perfection. [BG 8.15 ]
We need to realise this truth while chanting. We need to transform this knowledge into wisdom as we chant. This is the purpose of chanting. It’s not only the Krsna realisation, but it is also self-realisation and then Krsna realisation. Along with that we have to realise our relationship with the Lord. God realisation, self-realisation and our relationship are to be understood. Those who realise themselves as servants of Krsna are free from miseries.
jiver svarupa hoya krsneir nitya das
Our relationship is not only with Krsna, but also with other living entities. We are relatives and then we become a family. It’s been said that vasudhaiva kutumbakam – meaning the whole world is our family. Jivas are not only on earth. They are all over the universe. We are part of the family. Father and mother are so big. Their family is so huge and it should be. High thinking versus low thinking which is ‘we two and our two or one’. We just think on this only and we don’t care about others. Therefore become Krishna conscious and then we start to remember and realise the real size of the whole family. We can experience this as we come to Mayapur as a global worldwide family.
Practitioners from the whole world come over here and experience the international society. It is difficult to experience this in Mauritius, Ahmedabad, Vallabh Vidyanagar etc. This is the place of all the living entities. The jivas return to their place. We can experience this. There are so many devotees all over the world honouring prasada together; dancing in kirtana. We have prakrta and aprakrta relationships. This is the United Nations of the spiritual world. United Nations was formed in 1940. The number of flags are increasing. United Nations means there should be one flag. They wanted to unite the world, but they are failing in this. In Mayapur we have 1 flag – Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s Jayapataka. This is the real United Nation. We give preference to our self aham mamati. This is a narrow mind or low thinking. We have to raise ourselves and develop our Krishna consciousness. This is high thinking. This we experience in Mayapur. We have one flag in the flag hosting ceremony. The flag is Param Vijayate Sri Krsna Sankirtanam. The right resolution can only be found in ISKCON. All governments can’t come together. In Krishna consciousness all differences are dissolved. This is the real United Nations.
In 1971 Srila Prabhupada conducted an initiation ceremony and there was a marriage ceremony also. The bride was from Australia and the bridegroom from Sweden. Srila Prabhupada said this is the United Nations. Srila Prabhupada gave us this Mayapur Festival. The founder of this Mayapur Festival is Srila Prabhupada. It started 48 years ago. There were only a few devotees like we have in this room. Those days only 40-50 devotees were there and we were so many devotees. Gradually the number is increasing and will keep on increasing. As one receives the holy name, he gets connected to Mayapur.
When we preach then everyone will come to know about Gaurang, Nityananda, who are the fathers of Sankirtana. Then they will think that one day I will go to Mayapur. Then such Hare Krishna devotees will think that I will go to Mayapur just like the Muslims go to Mecca and Christians go to Jerusalem.
In 1972 we had only 40 devotees. I have written the book ‘The Mayapur Vrindavan Festivals’. Please read this book. In that book all the descriptions are given, what devotees experienced. I have explained there was just a kutir, then came the lotus building. There was the long building which is known as the Cakra building.
This book tells how the festival started and how initially we had only the hut then the Lotus Building was built then the long building was constructed. Do you know the long building is the same building which is known as the Cakra building. It is the longest building in Bengal. First walking Parikrama started in 1990. This year we have the 30th Anniversary. In the first Parikrama we had 100 devotees. This year we are expecting 10,000 devotees. Only after two years there will be 50th Anniversary of this festival. In 2022 there will be the TOVP opening so book your flights. Radha Govind will come to take you.

The Art of Chanting
Hare Krishna. How many rounds have you completed today? Any comments about that? How many rounds should have been completed?We should not be too fast or too slow during chanting. If too fast then there might be a possibility that we might not be listening. Speed might be there, but attention might not be there. If too slow then it takes 15 mins to chant and there are too many thoughts in our head. We take the beads out again and again.Too fast and too slow chanting are the effects of inattentive chanting. Anyone else have any realisation or comments?
When we are chanting in the dhama. it is like a local call. Lord can come in a local call. By going to a nearby temple we can meet the Lord. I was thinking that if the Lord is locally there as this is His place, where would He be now? Gauranga Mahaprabhu has His astakaliya lila like Krsna. If we have to meet Him now then where should we meet Him? How much time will He take to come to us? This is Gauranga Mahaprabhu consciousness. When we are remembering our beloved person then we think where would he be now?Is he in the courtyard, shopping,…Where? We anticipate when will we meet him. When the door bell is ringing then we imagine our husband or children have arrived. When we open the door then someone else is there. It might be Maharaja also. This is meditation.We think whether God Is alone or whoever else is accompanying Him? This is worth remembering in the morning. Thus we are talking about a local call.
Question: Where would He be during the afternoon?
Answer: Gauranga Mahaprabhu goes to Radha-kunda in Rudra dvipa. There is also a place known as Madhya Dvipa where He goes to in the afternoon. He spent a lot of time near the Ganga.
Question: How to avoid offences while chanting?
Answer: If we take care to avoid offences while not chanting then we can avoid offences during chanting.We are more cautious while we are chanting about avoiding offences. We should prepare for chanting one day before. What we ate, drank, whom we met a day before? What should I think or eat now, so that I’ll be able to chant attentively at the time of japa? We should prepare for chanting before the actual chanting. If we are not careful about chanting and we eat too much the previous night and sleep late then the next morning, we will face the consequences. We should prepare one day earlier . Prevention is better than cure. If we could prevent them there is less need to cure.
Question: Just hear the chanting and don’t even think. Is this good?
Answer: Many people think like this. When we hear, then we should think also. The Name what we have heard will inspire us to think. Sravan kirtana should lead to smaran. The Name only can take us to the Lord. We have come to His abode. This we said a few days ago in Srimad-Bhagavatam class.
Question: We souls are arrows and the string of the bow is holy name.
Answer: Lord sends the arrow and where should that arrow be targeted – at the lotus feet of the Lord. Lord’s names takes us to the Lord.
Question: In the 9th offence, we hear that we shouldn’t instruct faithless people. How can we instruct someone who is faithless?
Answer: We have been instructed to preach Krsna’s instructions to each and every living entity. We preach in a positive manner that a person can take a positive impression and he would like to hear more. If his faith is less and if we hammer down, then he will think that he does not want to have anything to do with Hare Krishna. Faith is a degree. When we say he is faithless, still he has 5% faith. In China the government is preaching to them that they are atheist. When we preach, we don’t tell them everything in one go. When Srila Prabhupada was instructing in the West, he didn’t speak of the 4 regulative principles. He spoke to them after the first initiation ceremony. First things come first and not the last thing first. Preachers have to be experienced. When you meet them, you will understand their level and then you can speak. Initially, give them prasada. When they visit they may just appreciate the cleanliness in the temple. This is enough in the first meeting. Jesus said, “I’ve many things to tell you, but not now. I’ll come back.” So don’t say everything in one meeting. This is the art of preaching.
Question: How to focus on chanting after you are so tired after the end of an office day?
Answer: Sometimes devotees say I’ve 500 rounds to chant. This is not the way. Best is to get up early and chant Hare Krishna. There are 24 hours. For practical devotional service, you can consider that there are just 22 hours. 2 hours should be untouched and reserved. First thing I was thinking this morning is that I have chanted all my rounds every day. This is my first business of the day. Because it’s a busy day, I’ll do the business first and then chant in the afternoon. This is not good. We should give priority to chanting.
Pujaris also work with Deities. They should decide when they should chant. If you’re not chanting then you’re spaced out. If we are not able to do it in the morning then plan your chanting time and let the world know that you are busy chanting. Tell the person, “I’m busy.” I’ve shared this earlier. In the earlier days, a big business man wanted to meet the temple president when I was in Bombay. I told the president that such and such person wanted to meet him. I saw he was chanting. President told me to tell him, “I’m busy.” I thought how is he busy? He is just chanting Hare Krishna. Then later, I realized that chanting of Hare Krishna is serious business. We need to have that kind of business. We should honour this business. We should chant in such a way that if someone wants to interrupt then one should offer obeisances and beg forgiveness to interrupt his chanting. We shouldn’t interrupt the chanter abruptly to ask him to do some service. This is not correct behaviour. It is also an offence to the holy name.
Question: Sravan kirtana smaran happens together or does it intermingle?
Answer: Do you remember Mahatma Gandhi in his old age? What do you remember? His form. So through his name, we remember his form. When you read and study then it comes to your mind. When you remember then assimilation happens. You make that part of your consciousness. Then you become a person with character. When we take the name of any person, that person’s face immediately comes to mind. But this doesn’t happen in the case of the Lord.
Question: How we can see the Lord?
Answer: We have to go to Mangal Arati and see the Lord. After that when we chant we see the form of the Lord very easily. In English it is said, “easy to cry easy to dry”. We see many people are crying while chanting. Such tears are sentimental. But philosophy should also be there. If tears come after hearing philosophy, then they are natural. We have heard that as we progress we will witness tears in our eyes. It may happen that they may come and go. To make them steady, we need religion and philosophy. Religion without philosophy is sentimentalism. Philosophy without religion is mental speculation.
Question: I face the problem of sleeping while chanting.
Answer: This might be some kind of disorder or you didn’t take proper rest. May be the atmosphere is not proper like the temperature, air. There are two types of sleeping. One is a disorder and it is occasional. This can be cured by chanting along with some friend. You should have someone who has a water spray with him. You can get up. There is one book “Rising Sun with the Holy Name”. In this book, it is mentioned that the mind is affected by different waves in different modes. When we are in sattvic the waves are different. When in rajsic, the waves are different and when in tamsic, the waves are different. Sleep is the effect of ignorance. To get awake we need passion. If someone is sitting then we end up sleeping. If someone is feeling sleepy then we need passion by standing up and circumambulating around Tulasi . We should sit properly. If we sit like a yogi then there is the right flow of energy. If we sit properly then it is also a solution. Prabhupada would always say, ‘Sit properly.’ So these are some solutions for attentive chanting.

हरे कृष्ण !
गौरंग! गौरंग !
मैं आज मायापुर पहुंचा हूं। आज 462 स्थानों से भक्त हमारे साथ जप कर रहे हैं। यह 48 वर्ष है जब मैं मायापुर महोत्सव में सम्मिलित हो रहा हूं। इतने वर्षों से मैं प्रत्येक वर्ष यहां आ रहा हूं। 1972 में मैं इस उत्सव में सम्मिलित नहीं हो पाया था। 1973 से 2020 तक प्रत्येक वर्ष मुझे यहां आने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हो रहा है। आप भी यहां आ सकते हैं। मायापुर को प्रारंभ में कोई नहीं जानता था। बंगाल तथा उड़ीसा के बाहर शायद ही किसी ने मायापुर का नाम सुना था, विदेश की तो बात ही छोड़ दीजिए। श्रीला प्रभुपाद ने मायापुर को प्रकट किया। मायापुर धाम के संदेश को विश्व भर में फैलाने का कार्य श्रील प्रभुपाद ने किया।
विशेष रूप से पाश्चात्य देशों में मायापुर का संदेश प्रभुपाद ने पहुंचाया। यह कार्य करने के लिए प्रभुपाद को 1922 में उनके गुरु महाराज श्रील भक्तिसिद्धांत सरस्वती गोस्वामी ठाकुर द्वारा आदेश मिला था। जीवन भर तैयारी करने के पश्चात प्रभुपाद ने 1965 में अमेरिका में इसका शुभारंभ किया। उसके पश्चात मात्र 10 वर्ष में श्रील प्रभुपाद ने कई बार संपूर्ण पृथ्वी की परिक्रमा की। श्रील प्रभुपाद संपूर्ण विश्व में जहां पर भी गए वहां उन्होंने गौरांग तथा मायापुर धाम का गुणगान किया। श्रील प्रभुपाद जेट एज परिवराजकाचार्य है। प्रभुपाद ने हमें पदयात्रा करने का आदेश दिया। गौरांग महाप्रभु ने कहा है सर्वत्र प्रचार होईबे मोर नाम। यह चैतन्य महाप्रभु का आदेश है :
प्रती गृहे गिया करो आमार प्रकाश
अर्थात प्रत्येक घर में जाओ और वहां मेरा अर्थात कृष्ण नाम का प्रचार करो। चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने यह आदेश नित्यानंद प्रभु तथा हरिदास ठाकुर को दिया। ऐसा ही आदेश श्रील भक्तिसिद्धांत सरस्वती ठाकुर ने श्रील प्रभुपाद को दिया।
नमस्ते सरस्वती देवे गौरवाणी प्रचारिणे ।
निर्विशेष शून्यवादी पाश्चात्य देश तारीणे।।
श्रील प्रभुपाद ने सर्वत्र इसका प्रचार किया। कई स्थानों पर मायावाद फैला हुआ था। मायावाद तथा शून्यवाद का श्रील प्रभुपाद ने खंडन किया तथा गौरवाणी का सर्वत्र प्रचार किया। श्रीला प्रभुपाद ने अंग्रेजी में एक ग्रंथ की रचना की : द टीचिंग्स ऑफ़ लॉर्ड चैतन्य। इसमें श्रील प्रभुपाद ने चैतन्य महाप्रभु द्वारा रूप गोस्वामी तथा सनातन गोस्वामी को दी गई शिक्षाओं का वर्णन किया। चैतन्य चरितामृत का भी श्रील प्रभुपाद ने अंग्रेजी भाषा में अनुवाद किया। श्रील प्रभुपाद सभी ग्रंथों की रचना अंग्रेजी भाषा में करते थे क्योंकि यदि कोई ग्रंथ एक बार अंग्रेजी भाषा में लिखा जाए तो अन्य भाषाओं में उसका अनुवाद होता रहता है परंतु यदि कोई ग्रंथ किसी अन्य भाषा में लिखा जाए तो उसका अंग्रेजी भाषा में अनुवाद होने की संभावना अत्यंत कम होती है। इस प्रकार इन ग्रंथों के माध्यम से गौरांग महाप्रभु तथा उनके परिकरों का प्रचार संपूर्ण विश्व में हुआ। चैतन्य महाप्रभु के जन्म, लीलाएं तथा उनकी शिक्षाओं का प्रचार हुआ और इस प्रकार संपूर्ण विश्व मायापुर को जान गया।
मायापुर सुनने में कोई दिव्य नाम नहीं लगता है। जब हम पदयात्रा करते हुए मायापुर आ रहे थे तब रास्ते में कई लोग हमसे पूछते स्वामी जी आप कहां जा रहे हो? जब हम कहते कि हम मायापुर जा रहे हैं तो वे लोग सोचने लगते की माया के वश में तो सारा संसार है यह स्वामी भी इससे परे नहीं है यह भी माया के पुर अर्थात मायापुर जा रहा है। मायापुर के प्रचार का श्रेय श्रील भक्तिविनोद ठाकुर को भी जाता है। श्री जगन्नाथ दास बाबाजी ने इसका प्रस्तुतीकरण गौर आविर्भाव स्थली के रूप में किया इसीलिए उनके प्रणाम मंत्र में भी इसका उल्लेख आता है।
गौर आविर्भाव भूमेष्तवाम निर्देष्ठ सज्जन प्रिय:।
वैष्णव सार्वभौम श्री जगन्नाथाय ते नमः।।
मैं उन जगन्नाथ दास बाबा जी को प्रणाम करता हूं जिनका सभी वैष्णव अत्यंत सम्मान करते हैं तथा जिन्होंने भगवान चैतन्य महाप्रभु के जन्म स्थान को प्रकट करवाया।
जगन्नाथ दास बाबाजी , भक्ति विनोद ठाकुर , भक्ति सिद्धांत सरस्वती ठाकुर और श्रील प्रभुपाद सभी ने इस धाम को प्रकाशित किया। और इस प्रकार संपूर्ण विश्व को मायापुर की महिमा का ज्ञान हुआ। इस प्रकार हमारे आचार्य वृंद इस धाम के प्रकाश को प्रकाशित करते हैं।
श्रील प्रभुपाद ने इस धाम की महिमा को भारत भूमि की सीमाओं से भी बाहर विदेश में प्रचार किया। श्रील प्रभुपाद ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय कृष्ण भावना मृत संघ की स्थापना की तथा वे हरिनाम की शिक्षा एवं दीक्षा दे रहे थे। श्रीला प्रभुपाद ने मात्र 10 वर्ष में अपने साक्षात्कार के साथ संपूर्ण विश्व में गौरवाणी का प्रचार किया, 100 से भी अधिक मंदिरों की स्थापना की तथा 5000 से भी अधिक शिष्यों को शिक्षा दीक्षा दी। जीवो को जब हरी नाम प्राप्त हुआ तब वे नाचने लगे।
नाम नाचे जीव नाचे नाचे प्रेम धन।
आपको यह पयार याद करना चाहिए। यदि किसी की लॉटरी लग जाती है तो वह नाचेगा या नहीं। संपूर्ण विश्व में जीव इस प्रकार धन प्राप्त करके नाचते हैं। इस हरिनाम का उद्गम स्थान यह मायापुर धाम है। संकीर्तन यहीं से प्रारंभ हुआ। योगपीठ के समीप श्रीवास ठाकुर के आंगन में यह संकीर्तन प्रारंभ हुआ। जो भी प्रारंभ में हरी नाम को स्वीकार करता है उसे अंततः मायापुर धाम की प्राप्ति होती है। यह नाम से धाम तक की यात्रा है। यदि आप गंभीरतापूर्वक नाम लेंगे तो यह नाम आपको धाम तक लेकर जाएगा। श्रीला प्रभुपाद कहते थे कि मायापुर मेरे आराधना करने का स्थान है। अर्थात यह मायापुर तीर्थ यात्रा का स्थान है।
1972 में श्रील प्रभुपाद ने मायापुर उत्सव की शुरुआत की थी। आप सब भी इस वर्ष मायापुर उत्सव में सम्मिलित हुई है। यदि आप व्यक्तिगत रूप से नहीं आ सकते हैं तो इंटरनेट तथा मायापुर टीवी तथा अन्य साधनों से स्वयं को मायापुर के साथ जोड़ कर रखिए। मैं अगले 20 22 दिन यहां मायापुर में ही रहूंगा। मैं यहां केवल रहूंगा नहीं मैं यहां व्यस्त रहूंगा। आप सभी के साथ पुनः जप करेंगे तथा पुनः भेंट करेंगे। गौरांग ! गौरांग !

ठीक है ,अब जप चर्चा आरंभ करेंगे
गौर प्रेमानंदे हरि हरि बोल!!
ट्रांसक्रिप्शन भी हो रहा है,
धन्यवाद शांताराम!!
ठीक है तो अब क्या चर्चा करनी है,
*हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण*
*कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे*
*हरे राम हरे राम*
*राम राम हरे हरे*
इससे अच्छी क्या चर्चा हो सकती है, जब हम “हरे कृष्ण महामंत्र” कहते हैं, गाते हैं या जप करते हैं।
तो इसमें सभी प्रकार के चर्चा में सम्मिलित हो जाती हैं।
सभी चर्चा का इसमें समावेश है ही,
हरि हरि!! और इस प्रकार की चर्चा जब हम सुनते हैं, महामंत्र को सुनते हैं, कई सारी बातें समझ में आती हैं साक्षात्कार होता है ।
हरि हरि!!
मैं नोएडा में था आज , आज भी हूं और यहां से मायापुर धाम के लिए प्रस्थान कर रहा हूं। इस जप चर्चा के बाद लेकिन कल जब यहां कृष्ण बलराम की रथ यात्रा संपन्न हुई तो खूब कीर्तन हुआ ,
हरि हरि!! और प्रारंभ में हमने यह भी कहां कि कृष्ण बलराम प्रकट हुए हैं, और उनकी शोभायात्रा या रथयात्रा हम संपन्न कर रहे हैं। इस्कॉन नोएडा की ओर से वहां पर उपस्थित नोएडा के जो नागरिक और निवासी थे । उन को संबोधित करते हुए हमने कहा भगवान कब प्रकट होते हैं, और वैसे हमने वही बात कही है। जो भगवान ने कही है ।मुझे क्या पता? भगवान कब प्रकट होते हैं? मैं कैसे कह सकता हूं? किंतु भगवान ने ही कहा है। वे कब प्रकट होते हैं ?
तो फिर उस बात को हम पड़े हैं ,सुने हैं , समझे है। तो फिर हम कह सकते हैं।
तो मैंने कहा-
*यदा यदा हि धर्मस्यग्लानिर्भवति भारत:।*
*अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम्॥*
(श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता 4.7)
अनुवाद –
हे भारतवंशी जब भी और जहां भी धर्म का पतन होता है और अधर्म की प्रधानता होने लगती है , तब तक मैं अवतार लेता हूं।
“यदा यदा हि धर्मस्यग्लानिर्भवति भारत:”
जब-जब धर्म की गिलानी होती है। धर्म का हास होता है ।
“अभ्युत्थानम् -अधर्मस्य तदात्मानंसृजाम्यहम्”
“अभ्युत्थान”, उत्थान बढ़ता है अधर्म और घटता है धर्म ,
तब भगवान कहे *अहम् सृजामी* (सृज मतलब उत्पन्न होना भी है) तब में प्रकट होता हूं।
हमने थोड़ा वर्णन करके सुनाया कि पूरे संसार में कैसी धर्म की स्थिति है ।
कैसे अधर्म फैल रहा है ।
तो कृष्ण बलराम का प्राकट्य अनिवार्य है।
हरि हरि! तो कई बार लोग कहते वा पूछते हैं ,अब क्यों भगवान प्रकट नहीं हो रहे?
इतनी सारी धर्म की ग्लानि तो हो रही है,
भगवान क्यों प्रकट नहीं हो रहे? इसका जवाब तो है। भगवान प्रकट तो हो रहे हैं। हर दिन धर्म की ग्लानि हो रही है ,तो भगवान भी हर दिन प्रकट हो रहे हैं।
फिर विग्रह के रूप में प्रकट हो रहे हैं जैसे कल रथ यात्रा के समय वे कृष्ण बलराम के रूप में प्रकट हुए और पूरी नोएडा नगरी का उन्होंने भ्रमण किया । प्रकट क्यों नहीं हो रहा है? भगवान तो प्रकट हो रहे हैं , वैसे कई रूपों में भगवान प्रकट हो रहे हैं
*कलि – काले नाम – रूपे कृष्ण – अवतार ।*
*नाम हैते हय सर्व – जगनिस्तार है । ॥ २२ ॥*

अनुबाद –
इस कलियुग में भगवान् के पवित्र नाम अर्थात् हरे कृष्ण महामन्त्र भगवान् कृष्ण का अवतार है । केवल पवित्र नाम के कीर्तन से मनुष्य भगवान् की प्रत्यक्ष संगति कर सकता है । जो कोई भी ऐसा करता है , उसका निश्चित रूप से उद्धार हो जाता

कलि-काले नाम-रूपे कृष्ण-अवतार
क्या यह प्राकट्य नहीं है क्या?
भगवान ने कहा है-
कलयुग में मैं प्रगट होता हूं । किस रूप में ? *नाम रूपे कृष्ण अवतार*
नामरूप में
*हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे*
तो यह भगवान का प्राकट्य है ।भगवान प्रकट होने के लिए तैयार हैं। बस केवल उनको पुकारना है, उनके नाम से संबोधित करना है । भगवान प्रकट होंगे।
नामरूप में भगवान प्रकट हो रहे हैं ।
मैं सोच ही रहा हूं ,वैसे धर्म की होती है ,ग्लोनी
तो ठीक है! नोएडा में हो रही है ग्लानि, दिल्ली में हो रही है, भारत में हो रही है, विदेश में अमेरिका ,रसिया यहां वहां धर्म की ग्लानि , ठीक है ,वो भी बात सही है कहना ।
लेकिन मैं अभी सोच रहा हूं की , हमारे जीवन में जो हम अलग-अलग व्यक्तित्व हैं , हमारे जीवन में भी तो धर्म की ग्लानि हो हुई है । हम भी तो अधार्मिक कृत्य कर रहे हैं।
*सूत उवाच*
*अभ्यर्थितस्तदा तस्मै स्थानानि कलये ददौ ।*
*द्यूतं पानं स्त्रियः सूना यत्राधर्मश्चतुर्विधः ॥३८ ॥*
[श्रीमद्भागवतम् १.१७.३८]
अनुवाद –
सूत गोस्वामी कहाः कलियुग द्वारा इस प्रकार याचना किये जाने पर महाराज परीक्षित ने उसे ऐसे स्थानों में रहने की अनुमति दे दी , जहाँ जुआ खेलना , शराब पीना , वेश्यावृत्ति तथा पशु – वध होते हों ।
( श्री सूत गोस्वामी नैमिषारण्य के ऋषियों को उपदेश देते हैं । )
जैसा भागवत में कहा है ।
द्यूत क्रीडा ( गैंबलिंग) हो रही है ,मनमानी हो रही है या मनो धर्म चल रहा है या जब हम यह कहते हैं “यत मत तथ पथ” जितने मार्ग हैं वह सभी सही हैं। यह भी तो जुआ है , ये भी तो ठगाई है ।
“पानं” जहां मद्यपान धूम्रपान कई सारे पान होते है, तो ये धर्म की ग्लानि है।
“स्त्रियः सूना” परस्त्री परपुरुष गमन ये भी चलता रहता है देश भर में होता है। देशभर के लोग जो ऐसा करते हैं धार्मिक कृत्य करते हैं धर्म की ग्लानि उनके जीवन में उनके कार्यकलापों में दिखती हैं। यह तीसरी बात है परस्त्री परपुरुष गमन, मन में कितनी ही बार पतन होता है हम लोग गिर जाते हैं ,यह भी तो धर्म की ग्लानि ही है।
तो प्रसाद खाने की वजह अन्य कई सारे प्रकार के भोजन करना अभक्ष्य भक्षण करना यह भी तो धर्म की ग्लानि ही है।
मैं यह कह रहा हूं कि हमारे देश में धर्म की ग्लानि हुई है और संसार में धर्म की ग्लानि हुई है।
ठीक है , आखिरकार हर एक व्यक्ति के जीवन में, जीवन शैली में देखा जाए तो धर्म की ग्लानि हुई है ।
“धर्मस्यग्लानीं भवति ”
भगवान के प्राकट्य की आवश्यकता है।
हम भी पतित हैं इस संसार में है तो हम पतित आत्माएं हैं। हम भगवत धाम में नहीं है; इस भौतिक जगत में ,प्राकृतिक जगत में, लौकिक जगत है। यह तो कारागार है। हम पतित हैं तो यह धर्म की ग्लानि हुई है, और हमें भगवान की आवश्यकता है हमारे घर में ,हमारे मन में भी भगवान प्रकट हो और प्रकट होकर क्या करें *परित्राणाय साधुनां* भगवान हमारी रक्षा करें *विनाशाय च दुष्कृतम्*
हममे जों दुष्टता है उसका विनाश करे भागवान। तो हमें भगवान को आमंत्रित करना चाहिए आइए -आइए भगवान देखिए मेरे विचार, देखिए मेरी दुष्टता ,देखिए मेरी अधार्मिकता कुछ कीजिए प्रभु! या हम वैष्णव को भी बता सकते हैं ।देखिए मेरा हाल।
*पतितानाम पावने भयो वैष्णवे नमो नमः* ॥
आप ही मेरा उद्धार कीजिए।
भक्तो का संग प्राप्त हो रहा है तो भी यह समझना चाहिए कि भगवान प्रकट होकर यह व्यवस्था कर रहे हैं।
तो भगवान उपलब्ध है, प्रकट हो रहे हैं प्रकट हैं, इन ग्रंथों के रूप में गीता -भागवत भगवान का प्राकट्य ही है, श्री विग्रह भगवान का प्राकट्य है।
भक्त हमें स्मरण दिलाते है भगवान के अस्तित्व का , हमारे उत्तरदायित्व का, हमारे लक्ष्य का स्मरण दिलाते हैं। हमारे जीवन का लक्ष्य क्या है
*साधू-संग साधू-संग सर्व-शास्त्रे कहे,लव-मात्र साधू-संग सर्व-सिद्धि होय|*
सारे शास्त्रों का निर्णय है कि शुद्ध भक्त के साथ क्षण-भर की संगति से ही मनुष्य सारी सफलता प्राप्त कर सकता है| कृष्ण-भक्ति का मूल कारण महान भक्तों की संगति है

साधु संघ के श्रीला प्रभुपाद ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कृष्णभावनामृत संघ की स्थापना की, लोगों को कृष्ण का स्मरण दिलाने के लिए, ये साधु संघ की व्यवस्था की है। हरे कृष्ण आंदोलन में क्या प्राप्त होता है? साधु संत प्राप्त होता है। तो यह भगवान की व्यवस्था है,ताकि हम कृष्ण भावना भावित बने । कृष्ण प्रसाद भी, भगवान प्रसाद के रूप में प्राकट्य होते है।और वो कई -कई रूपों में में भगवान प्रकट होते हैं।
और जब आप भगवत गीता का दसवां अध्याय पढ़ोगे तो उसमें भगवान ने अपने वैभव का वर्णन किया है। भगवान प्रकट होते हैं कई कई रूपों में जब हम सर्वत्र देखेंगे । भगवान ने कहा है *शशी सूर्ययो:* चंद्रमा और सूर्य में हूं। चंद्र और सूर्य का प्रकाश में हूं।
कभी आपने देखा नहीं सूर्य का प्रकाश यदि देखा है, तो आप यह नहीं कह सकते कि आपने भगवान को नहीं देखा ।
हरि हरि!!
कृष्ण का स्मरण दिलाने के लिए कई साधन है , उपाय हैं
*रसोऽहमप्सु कौन्तेय प्रभास्मि शशिसुर्ययो: |*
*प्रणवः सर्ववेदेषु शब्दः खे पौरुषं नृषु || ८ ||”*
(भगवत गीता 7.8)
अनुवाद
हे कुन्तीपुत्र! मैं जल का स्वाद हूँ, सूर्य तथा चन्द्रमा का प्रकाश हूँ, वैदिक मन्त्रों में ओंकार हूँ, आकाश में ध्वनि हूँ तथा मनुष्य में सामर्थ्य हूँ |
भगवान ने कहा है – जल में जो रस है वो मैं हूं।
श्रीला प्रभुपाद एक बार भागवत की कक्षा के मध्य में पास में जो जल का प्याला रखा था ।उसे उठाकर थोड़ा सा जलपान कीये और प्रभु पद ने कहा , जब- जब आप जलपान करते हो तो यह सोचा, कि यह जो पान है जो रस है।“ रस: -अहम्- अप्सु” अप्सु मतलब जल,
जल में जो रस है वो मैं हूं।
तो अगर हम याद करते हैं कि जल में जो रस है वो मैं हूं। तो हमें तत्क्षण कृष्ण का स्मरण होगा।
*बृहत्साम तथा साम्नां गायत्री छन्दसामहम् |*
*मासानां मार्गशीर्षोऽहमृतूनां कुसुमाकरः || ३५ ||”*
(भगवत गीता 10.35)
अनुवाद
मैं सामवेद के गीतों में बृहत्साम हूँ और छन्दों में गायत्री हूँ | समस्त महीनों में मैं मार्गशीर्ष (अगहन) तथा *समस्त ऋतुओं में फूल* *खिलने वाली वसन्त ऋतु हूँ* |
*कुसुमाकरः*मतलब जो छह ऋतु है उसमें से जो वसंत ऋतु है। भगवान कहे हैं जो वो मैं हूं। तो जब हम फूल खिले देखेंगे, वसंत ऋतु का जो अनुभव है
कृष्ण भावना भावित बनने के लिए है।
जब हम बद्रीका आश्रम पदयात्रा करते हुए जा रहे थे या हिमालय में जा रहे थे।
तो हिमालय देखते ही मुझे स्मरण आया भगवान ने भगवतगीता के 10 वे अध्याय में कहा है ।
*“महर्षीणां भृगुरहं गिरामस्म्येकमक्षरम् |*
*यज्ञानां जपयज्ञोऽस्मि स्थावराणां हिमालयः || २५ ||”*
अनुवाद
मैं महर्षियों में भृगु हूँ, वाणी में दिव्य ओंकार हूँ, समस्त यज्ञों में पवित्र नाम का कीर्तन (जप) तथा *समस्त अचलों में हिमालय हूँ*|
स्थावराणां हिमालयः जो स्थावर कुछ वस्तुएं जंगम होती है। तो जो स्थावर है, भारी होती है। एक जगह पर स्थित होती हैं ।हिलती डुलती नही ।
भगवान ने कहा है- “स्थावराणां हिमालयः” स्थावर में जो हिमालय है, वह मैं हूं।
वैसे हम कृष्ण भावना भावित हो सकते हैं ।उस समय हम हिमालय को भी देख रहे थे। भगवान ने कहा ही है *स्थावराणां हिमालयः*
विराट रूप के अंतर्गत जो हिमालयन वह भगवान का वैभव ही है।
और हम यह भी देख रहे थे। यह मेरा निजी अनुभव है।
हिमालय की जो शिखर है जो श्रृंखलाएं हैं, जो चोटी है। सर्वत्र हिमालय ही हिमालय और उसके मध्य में से जब हम पदयात्रा करते जा रहे थे। हम कितने शूद्र है। मैं तो यह अनुभव कर ही रहा था। एक विशाल पहाड़ के मध्य में चींटी के आकार के भी नहीं थे, बड़े ही सूक्ष्म है। तो उससे ये *तृणादपि सुनीचेन* भाव उत्पन्न हो रहा था।
*तृणादपि सुनीचेन तरोरपि सहिष्णुना। अमानिना मानदेन कीर्तनीयः सदा हरिः ॥३॥*
(शिक्षा अष्टकष्टक)
अनुवाद-
स्वयं को मार्ग में पड़े हुए तृण से भी अधिक नीच मानकर, वृक्ष के समान सहनशील होकर, मिथ्या मान की कामना न करके दुसरो को सदैव मान देकर हमें सदा ही श्री हरिनाम कीर्तन विनम्र भाव से करना चाहिए ॥३॥
हम छोटे हैं, देखो महान पहाड़ और हम कितने छोटे हैं। तो यात्रा करते जब जा रहे थे तो सर्वत्र हिमालय था। जिस तरफ देखते हिमालय ही हिमालय और ऊपर सूर्य वो भी भगवान का स्मरण दिला रहा था।
*प्रभास्मि शशिसुर्ययो:*
नीचे देखते तो गंगा बह रही है ।भगवान ने कहा है, सभी पवित्र नदियों में गंगा में हूं।
तो इस प्रकार हम कुछ अनुभव कर सकते हैं। तो यह भी साधन है। यह भी भगवान का वैभव है, भगवान दर्शन देते हैं। इस प्रकार के तथाकथित प्राकृत रूपों में ,भगवान की प्रकृति है ।तो भगवान है भगवान प्रकट है, केवल हम को समझना है ।भगवान कैसे हैं, कहां हैं, किस रूपों में भगवान है ,और हमारे जीवन में हम स्वीकार करेंगे भगवान को या इस प्रकार हम भगवान की शरण लेंगे *मामेकं शरणं व्रज*
*सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज |*
*अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा श्रुचः || ६६* ||”

अनुवाद
समस्त प्रकार के धर्मों का परित्याग करो और मेरी शरण में आओ । मैं समस्त पापों से तुम्हारा उद्धार कर दूँगा । डरो मत ।
*अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा श्रुचः*
तो हम मुक्त होंगे ।तो हमे हमारे पापों का जो फल ,जो परिणाम है वो भोगना नहीं पड़ेगा
हम मुक्त होंगे फिर भक्त होंगे ।

भगवान के विभिन्न रूप हैं जिनमें से कुछ का हम उल्लेख किए। जिसमें से कलयुग में तो मुख्यता हरि नाम ही है,

Translation:
My dear Lord Nityananda, You are always joyful in spiritual bliss. Since You always appear very happy, I have come to You because I am most unhappy. If You kindly put Your glance over me, I may also become happy.
Lord Nityananda is one who gives bliss. We also pray in this way because such a prayer was written by Srila Narottama Das Thakur. He prays to the Lord that You are always blissful and I’m always miserable. Please let me have Your merciful glance so that I’ll also be happy. Every day when we chant we pray to Pancatattva before every round.
jaya sri-krsna-caitanya

sri-advaita gadadhara
srivasadi-gaura-bhakta-vrinda
Translation:
I offer my respectful obeisances unto Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Lord Nityananda, Sri Advaita, Gadadhara Pandit, Srivas Thakur, and all the devotees of Lord Caitanya.
We pray to everyone Lord Caitanya, Nityanand Prabhu, Advaita Acarya, Gadadhara Pandit, Srivas Thakur. On the left-hand side of Lord Caitanya, He has Gadadhar who is an incarnation of Radharani.
pancha-tattvatmakam krishnam
bhakta-rupa-svarupakam
bhaktavataram bhaktakhyam
namami bhakta-shaktikam
Translation:
Let me offer my obeisances unto Lord Sri Krsna, who has manifested Himself in five as a devotee, expansion of a devotee, incarnation of a devotee, pure devotee, and devotional energy. (CC Adi lila, 7.6)
The Pancatattva are a five-fold manifestation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, featured as five tattvas (truths). In Mayapur, we have Pancatattva who are worshipped. We worship Caitanya Mahaprabhu along with four members. Somewhere Lord Caitanya is worshipped along with Lord Nityanand or Lord Gadadhar. Like Srila Bhakti Vinod Thakur would worship Gaura Gadadhar at Svananda-sukhada-kunja (Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura’s House), worshipping of Gaur-Nityananda means worshipping Krsna and Balarama. And worshipping Gaura Gadadhar means worshipping Krsna and Radha. It’s quite complex. Gauranga is Radha Krsna Himself, still He has Radharani on His left appearing as Gadadhar.

Translation:
Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu is none other than the combined form of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna.
Radharani can’t always stay with Krsna in Vrindavan. They are social bonds and they have to hide and meet. Radharani always wants to meet Him. She always wants to stay with Krsna. This desire of Radharani is fulfilled when She appears as Gadadhar in Gaura lila. Her form is like that of a man.
Let’s speak about Nityananda Prabhu. The founder of this Sankirtana movement is Nityananda Prabhu. It’s team effort. It’s like Gaura-Nitai, Rama and Laksman working together. Hare Krishna Movement was started by Gauranga Mahaprabhu and Nityanand Prabhu. In Rama-Lila Rama Laksman stay together. Rama is Vasudev and Laksman is Sankarsana. Caturvyuha ( Vasudev, Annirudha, Sankarsana, Pradyumna) stay together. So Vasudev is Rama and Sankarsana is Laksman. Krsna is Vāsudeva as He is the son of Vasudev. Balaram is Sankarsana.
Krsna Balarama also stayed together as you can read in Sila Prabhupad’s Krsna book or the 10th canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam. When Balarama was not there Krsna got into trouble. When Lord Brahma stole the cowherd boys, Balarama was not there. Also in Damodar-Lila Krsna got bound to the mortar when Balarama was not there. In the same way, Gauranga Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Mahaprabhu stay together. They met each other when Lord Caitanya was 20 years old. At Kuruksetra also Krsna and Balarama were not together. As Lord Balarama went on pilgrimage all across Bharat, Lord Nityananda also went on pilgrimage following in His footsteps. He got to know about the birth of Lord Caitanya in Navadvipa when He was at Radha-kunda in Vrindavan. Then He stopped His yatra and He went to meet Lord Caitanya at Nandan Acarya Bhavan at Navadvipa. Then they always stayed together. When they met each other, the Sankirtana movement started at Srivas Thakur’s courtyard. Srivas Thakur is Narada Muni. All members of Pancatattva joined there. Nityanand Prabhu is a very close associate of Lord Caitanya. He also joined. Advaita Acarya from Santipur also constructed His house ( Advaita Bhavan) in Mayapur and joined. Gadadhar stayed there only. In this way, the Sankirtana movement was started by Pancatattva. Initially the kirtana happened as it happens in Goloka. In Goloka, there is Svetadvipa and Navadvipa. In Goloka, there is Vrindavan and Navadvipa. Both Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu are residents of Goloka.
ānanda-cinmaya-rasa-pratibhāvitābhis
tābhir ya eva nija-rūpatayā kalābhiḥ
goloka eva nivasaty akhilātma-bhūto
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
Translation:
“The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Govinda, the one who enlivens the senses of everyone by His personal bodily rays, resides in His transcendental abode, called Goloka. Yet He is present in every nook and corner of His creation by expansion of happy spiritual rays, equal in power to His personal potency of bliss.” He is therefore simultaneously personal and impersonal by His inconceivable potency, or He is the one without a second, displaying complete unity in a diversity of material and spiritual manifestations. He is separate from everything, and still nothing is different from Him.( Brahma-saṁhitā (5.37)
In Vrindavan there is Krsna and in Navadvipa there is Krsna Caitanya. So in Navadvipa over there, there is constant kirtana of Hare Krishna.

As a sadhaka we also do kirtana. Perfection comes from sadhana. We keep on doing this sadhana. If we are not feeling to chant it always means there is no perfection of this sadhana.
Kirtaniya sada hari means even if we leave this body, still we will keep on chanting in Goloka. Life is never terminated. The living entity always lives. In the Lord’s abode also there is constant kirtana. We have to practice in such a way that it becomes natural for us.
As the kirtana which was happening in Srivas Angan was prakata lila of Lord Caitanya, there was entry for only pure devotees. Only pure devotees were allowed to enter and chant. Advaita Acarya had a problem with this. He was thinking that he had invited Lord Caitanya Who had mercifully appeared, but he had called Him to reestablish religious principles.
yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata
abhyutthānam adharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛijāmyaham ( BG 4.7)
Translation:
Whenever there is a decline in righteousness and an increase in unrighteousness, O Arjun, at that time I manifest myself on earth.
Before the appearance of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Advaita Acarya had appeared, who is an incarnation of Maha-Visnu. When he saw that there is a decline of righteousness, he prayed to the Lord, Who then mercifully appeared. But Mahaprabhu was not doing anything to reestablish dharma. Initially, He always did kirtana with pure devotees which He usually does in Goloka. Then on Advaita Acarya’s request Sankirtana began.
Udilo Aruna Puraba Bhage by Sri Bhaktivinoda Thakura from Gitavali
udilo aruna puraba-bhage,
dwija-mani gora amani jage,
bhakata-samuha loiya sathe,
gela nagara-braje (Verse 1)
Translation:
When the rising sun appeared in the East, the jewel of the twice-born, Lord Gaurasundara, awakened, and, taking His devotees with Him, He went all over the countryside towns and villages
‘tathai tathai bajalo khol,
ghana ghana tahe jhajera rol,
preme dhala dhala sonara anga,
carane nupura baje ( Verse 2)
Translation:
The mrdangas (khol) resounded “tathai, tathai,” and the jhanjha [large metal karatalas that look like small cymbals] in that kirtana played in time. Lord Gauranga’s golden form slightly trembled in ecstatic love of Godhead, and His footbells jingled.
Sankirtana began and Lord Caitanya started to inspire everyone.
krsna-nama-sudha koriya pan,
jurao bhakativinoda-pran,
nama bina kichu nahiko aro,
caudda-bhuvana-majhe (Verse 8)
Translation:
Drink the pure nectar of the holy name of Krsna. There is nothing but the name to be had in the fourteen worlds. It has filled the soul of Sri Bhaktivinoda Thakura.
In this way, Sankirtana started and reached all of you.

डॉ श्यामसुंदर शर्मा पहले आप एक थे फिर एक थे फिर एक के दो हो गए गए फिर २ के तीन फिर अभी पीछे भी कोई बैठा है इस प्रकार धन्यवाद् हरी हरी वैसे कोई मेहरबानी भी नहीं कर रहे हो आप जप करके किसी पे मेहरबानी तोह नहीं करते हो हरी ! अपने फ़ायदे के लिए अपने कल्याण के लिए अपने सुधार के लिए और असली स्वार्थ यही इसी में है न ते विदु: स्वार्थगतिं हि विष्णुं प्रह्लाद महाराज का है आजकल और इस भौतिक जगत में कलयुग में न ते विदु: स्वार्थगतिं हि विष्णुं लोग अपने स्वार्थ को नहीं जानते या विष्णु प्राप्ति या विष्णु की आराधना या कृष्ण की आराधना में ही अपना स्वार्थ है इसको नहीं न ते विदु: नहीं जानते तोह भगवान की कृपा से आप जप कर रहे हो आप समझ रहे हो जान रहे हो अपने स्वार्थ स्वा अर्थ ऐसा अर्थ है स्वार्थ स्वा अर्थ स्वा मतलब हम खुद और मतलब खुद तोह कह दिए स्वा, स्वा तो शरीर भी होता है स्वा मन भी हो सकता है स्वा या कोई बुद्धिमान इंटेल्लेक्टुअल्स अपने बुद्धिमन्ता को भी डे आइडेंटीफ़्य विद इंटेल्लेक्टुअल्स कैपेबिलिटीज या अबेलिटीज़ तो कोई अपने शरीर को स्वा मानता है कोई अपने मन को मानता है कोई बुद्धि को मानता है और फिर इससे ये सब सूक्ष्म शरीर ये भगवद गीता का प्रवचन में आपको दे रहा हु ये सब मुझे नहीं करना था तोह कहने का आश्रय ये है की स्वा तोह आत्मा है स्वा शरीर नहीं है स्वा स्वा हैं हम खुद जो है हम शरीर नहीं है हम है आत्मा अहम् दासोऽहमि
अहम् दासः अस्मि आप कौन हो ? तो उसका उत्तर क्या है अहम् दासः अस्मि में दास हु अहम् कृष्णा दासः अस्मि में कृष्ण का दास हु कृष्ण का दास तोह आत्मा है ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन: | तो इस आत्मा का स्वार्थ हरी हरी भगवान् के भक्त की भक्ति में है या धर्म है आत्मा का धर्म है भगवान की सेवा करना हम स्वाभाव से दास है तोह दास के स्वामी की सेवा स्वामी की आराधना या स्वामी के लिए सब कुछ करे तोह फिर ऐसा करने में ही जीव का स्वार्थ है तोह इसी में फ़ायदा है इसी में लाभ है इसी में मंगलया है इसी में सबकुछ है तोह हम जप करते हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे हम किसी पर मेहरबानी नहीं करते अपने लिए करते है हरी हरी तोह आप बुद्धिमान हो आप इसे समझ रहे हो आप कौन हो और आपका स्वार्थ किन बातों में है और जीव का स्वार्थ कलयुग में हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे करने में है तो गौर भगवान प्रभु ने आज कुछ पोस्टिंग किया अंग्रेजी में था तो उस पोस्टिंग के लिए उनको आभार पता नहीं आप पढ़ पाए नहीं पाए उसको कॉन्फरन्स का है ,
उसको पोस्ट किया जा सकता था जिसको आप पढ़ सकते हो जिसमे उन्होंने मेने तो थोड़ा जिक्र किआ था अलग अलग अवस्था जैसे जागृत अवस्था स्वपन अवस्था सुसुक्ति और उसकी परिभाषा भलीभांति उन्होंने संक्षिप्त में लिखा है तो आप उसको पढियेगा या उसको पोस्ट करेंगे फेसबुक में जप कॉन्फरन्स का जो फेसबुक है करे वो जो भी जिम्मेदार है पोस्टिंग ऑफ़ गौर भगवन प्रभु हरी हरी तोह जप करना सर्वोच्च अवस्था है सर्वोपरि है चतुर्थ अवस्था भी कहा है शास्त्रों में ये गुणातीत स्थिति है शरीर के अतीत जागृत अवस्था में हमारी सारे कार्यकलाप चलते रहते है इन्दिर्यो के भी कार्यकलाप चलते रहते है मन के भी कार्यकलाप चलते रहते है या जब निद्रा की अवस्था में निद्रा में ड्रीम स्टेट स्वपन देखते है तोह वह पर इन्दिर्य तोह कार्य नहीं करती लेकिन मन एक्टिव रहता है और कहीं सारी परेशानिया भी नाईटम्येर्स जिसको कहते है उफ़ वो भी कस्ट दायक अनुभव हो सकता है होता ही है सुसुक्ति जो है डीप स्लीप इन्दिर्य और मन भी निष्क्रिय होता है स्वपन अवस्था में मन एक्टिव रहता है बिजी रखता है स्ट्रेस और स्ट्रेन चलता ही रहता है लेकिन फिर सुसुक्ति या डीप स्लीप में फिर आराम मिलता है तोह जब हम जग जाते है कभी कभी कहते है हम आई हेड ए गुड स्लीप रिलैक्स्ड स्लीप या ऐसा पूछा भी जाता है मेहमान आ गए गेस्ट आगये या कोई हो सकता है हाउ डीड यू स्लीप लास्ट नाईट ? हाउ वाज़ योर स्लीप !
अगर डीप स्लीप थी तोह गुड स्लीप आई एंजोयेड रिलैक्स्ड तोह डीप स्लीप सुसुक्ति की अवस्था में सारे जो भौतिक कार्यकलाप है शारीरिक या इंदिरियो के स्तर पर या मानसिक के स्तर पर या बुद्धि के स्तर पर ठप होते है और एक प्रकार से आत्मा को कुछ रिलीफ या राहत या आराम या रिलैक्स्ड और सुख और शान्ति का अनुभव करता है और कहता है आई हेड गुड स्लीप तोह जो तूर्य अवस्था है या चतुर्थ अवस्था वही कृष्णा भावना की अवास्थ है हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे ये ध्यानपूर्वक जप करने के प्रयास करने का फल यहाँ है की हम जो जिव है हम जो आत्मा है हम गुणातीत पहुंच जाते है फिर , फिर वो हमारी अवस्था या जब प्रेम अञ्जन च्छुरित भक्ति विलोचनेन सन्तः सदैव हृदयेषु विलोकयन्ति | (ब्रह्मसंहिता ५.३८ ) और जप की वो भी अवस्था जिसको हम कल भी कह रहे थे चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने कहा श्लोका
ये भाव भावभक्ति भाव के स्तर पर भाव से ही फिर ऊँचा है प्रेम तोह शिक्षाष्टक में भी श्री कृष्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु साधन भक्ति के सम्बन्ध कुछ अस्टाक कहे पहले ५ अस्टाक साधन साधन भक्ति और फिर ६ और ७ भाव भक्ति का उल्लेख करता है तोह ८ जो अस्तक है आश्लिष्य वा पादरतां पिनष्टु मामदर्शनान्-मर्महतां करोतु वा।
यथा तथा वा विदधातु लम्पटो मत्प्राणनाथस्-तु स एव नापरः॥८॥
अनुवाद: एकमात्र श्रीकृष्ण के अतिरिक्त मेरे कोई प्राणनाथ हैं ही नहीं और वे ही सदैव बने रहेंगे, चाहे वे मेरा आलिंगन करें अथवा दर्शन न देकर मुझे आहत करें। वे नटखट कुछ भी क्यों न करें -वे सभी कुछ करने के लिए स्वतंत्र हैं क्योंकि वे मेरे नित्य आराध्य प्राणनाथ हैं ॥
वो जो है ८ वा सर्वोच्च या प्रेम की अवस्था या प्रेम का प्रेम फिर शुरुआत होती है भाव से फिर भाव से फिर प्रेम तोह जब हम उस अवस्था में या उस मन की अवस्था में उस भावना में वहा पहुँचते है उस मनोस्थिति में जप करते है तोह तूर्य या चतुर्थ वो अवस्था है या शरीर के परे या मन के परे इन्दिर्यो के गुणातीत या कालातीत काल का प्रभाव नहीं है वह गुणों का प्रभाव नहीं वह सत रज तमो गुण वो जो सक्रिय रखते है हमारे शरीर हमारी इन्दिर्या को हमारे मन को तोह वो जो सर्वोच्च अवस्था है कृष्ण भावना की अवस्था तोह उस अवस्था को प्रपात करने का ही प्रयास है ये नाम जप जो हम संकीर्तन करते है या जप यज्ञ करते है तोह जागृत अवस्था इसको कहा है या स्वपन अवस्था इसको कहा है या सुसुक्ति डीप स्लीप ये अवस्था को कहा है उससे भी उची सर्वोपरि अवस्था है तोह सुसुक्ति या डीप स्लीप गहरी नींद में भी वो एक प्रकार से मुक्त होता है वो मुक्त होने का अनुभव करता है इसीलिए वो समाधान व्यक्त करता है मुझे बहुत अछि नींद आयी प्रस्सन रहता है जब व्यक्ति जगता है तोह उसे भी शुद्ध और पवित्र अवस्था भावना कॉन्सियसनेस्स चेतना या चेतो दर्पण मार्जनम हुआ है हरी हरी मेने और भी थोड़ा कह दिया वो प्रभुजी यही बातें लिखे थे गौर भगवन प्रभु ये पढ़ने का विषय है इसको और गहराई में समझना चाहिए ये मदद करेगा हमे ध्यानपूर्वक जप करने के लिए हरी हरी
आज वराह द्वादशी है वराह भगवान की जय केहवा धृता सूकर रूपा जय जगदीश हरे स्वामी जय जगदीश हरे भगवन सूकर बने ब्रह्मा के नासिका से ब्रह्मा जी को आई छींक स्नीजिंग जिसको कहते है उसके साथ ब्रह्मा के नाक से भगवन प्रकट हुए जब प्रकट हुए तोह छोटे से अंघूठे का आकर होता है उतने थे और धीरे धीरे उन्होंने विशाल विराट रूप

एक दुष्ट हिरण्यास्क का वध किये भगवान् क्युकी ऐसे हिरयाणास्क जैसे प्रवर्ति वाले जो भोगना चाहते है डे लाइक टू एक्सप्लॉइट डा रिसोर्सेज तोह इसके कारण उस समय पृथ्वी समुद्र में गिर गयी कौनसे समुद्र में गिर गयी पसिफ़िक ओसियन इंडियन ओसियन की अरेबिक ओसियन ये सरे ओसियन पृथ्वी पे ही है तोह पृथ्वी गिर गयी पतन हुआ मतलब वो किसी और सागर में गिरी होगी तोह गरबोदाक्षायी गरबो दख नमक जो सागर है ब्राह्मण में वो सब बता नहीं सकते अस्टोनमी यग खगो तोह वह गिरे पृथ्वी के उद्धार के लिए भगवान् ये सुकर रूप वराह रूप धारण किए और फिर हिरण्यास्क के साथ लड़े भगवान् इसका बढ़िया वर्णन आप भागवत में पढ़ सकते हो अभी समय नहीं है ये सब वर्णन करने का भगवान् ने वध किआ हरिबोल सभी देवता प्रसन हुए आप भी प्रसन हो की नहीं असुर का जब वध होता है तो देवता प्रस्सन होते है और फिर पृथ्वी को वराह भगवन ने अपने स्थान पर जो उसकी नार्मल स्थिति है वह स्थित किआ तो वो करने के पहले और भी वर्णन है तो सनसिकपट में आपको बताते है की वराह भगवान् ने पृथ्वी को उठाया कैसे उठाया उन्होंने अपने दांत के ऊपर जंगली जो सुकर होते है जो वन में जंगल में मिलते है आपके जो गाओ में मिलते है उसमे दांत नहीं होता लेकिन ये जंगली सूकर इसके ऐसे जैसे हाथी के दांत होते है तो उनके भी छोटे दांत होते है तो वराह भगवान् के भी ऐसे दांत , दांत के ऊपर उन्होंने उठया धारण किया पृथ्वी को और उठाके ऊपर उठे चढ़े और एक समय भगवान् को भी युद्ध में पृथ्वी को ढोने में कुछ प्रयास भी उनको करना ही पड़ा प्रकाराम भी दिखाया ही तो भगवान् विश्राम करना चाहते थे तो उन्होंने मथुरा में विश्राम किआ तोह गरभदाय समुद्र से ऊपर आये भगवान् और अब बैठे है यमुना के तट पर बैठे है
मथुरा के बहार मथुरा के तट पर तो जहा बैठे उस जगह का नाम हुआ विश्राम घाट मथुरा में जो विश्राम घाट है बड़ा प्रसिद्ध स्थान है विश्राम घाट तो वह भगवान् बैठे थे तो अभी पृथ्वी कहा है अभी उनके दांत पर ही है पृथ्वी दांत पर ही है और भगवान् बैठे है मथुरा वृन्दावन में में विश्राम कर रहे है पृथ्वी ऊपर है मतलब सब ऊपर ही है सारे देश उसी के ऊपर है सारे पहाड़ उसी के ऊपर है सारे समुद्र उसी के ऊपर है दिल्ली है आगरा है सब उसी के ऊपर है लेकिन भगवान् कहा बैठे है भगवान् मथुरा वृन्दावन में बैठे है विश्राम कर रहे है इससे ये भी समझ आना चाहिए जो हम कहते रहते है जैसे नाम अपराध है तो वैसे धाम अपराध भी है एक धाम अपराध ये है की ये समझना की ये वृन्दावन उत्तर प्रदेश में है मायापुर बंगाल में है द्वारिका गुजरात में है ऐसा समझना अपराध है अयोध्या उत्तर प्रदेश में है तो ये धाम इस जगत में नहीं है या इस पृथ्वी पर नहीं है उसकी स्तिथि भिन्न ही है और पृथ्वी का पतन हुआ था पर ये धाम पतन नहीं हुए धाम अपने स्थान पर ही रहे वैसे ही जब पृथ्वी का पतन भी हुआ था फिर पृथ्वी का प्रलय भी होता धामों का प्रलय नहीं होता वृन्दावन का प्रलय अयोध्या का प्रलय द्वारक का मायापुर का जग्गनाथ पूरी का प्रलय विनाश नहीं होता क्युकी वे इस जगत में नहीं है इस जगत के नहीं बने है पृथ्वी वायु जल आकाश से ये धाम नहीं बने है ये धाम चिंतामणि से बने है ये चिंतामणि से बने है
पृथ्वी पृथ्वी से बानी है पृथ्वी पर जल है हवा है अग्नि है लेकिन धाम से भिन्न है और पृथ्वी की सृष्टि होती है पृथ्वी का संहार भी होता है लेकिन वृन्दावन मथुरा मायापुर धाम इसकी सृष्टि नहीं हुई है इसके सृष्टि कर्ता ब्रह्मा नहीं है और इसका विनाश या प्रलय करने की क्षमता शिवजी के पास नहीं है ये धाम शास्वत है ये सिद्धांत भी वराह लीला या वराह भगवान् की जो लीला से पृथ्वी का उद्धार किया पृथ्वी को उठाया अपने दांत धारण किया और फिर अपने स्थान पर स्तिथ भी किआ अपने ऑर्बिट पे तो फिर पृथ्वी ब्रह्मण करती रहती है सारे ग्रह नक्शत्र ब्रह्मण करते मण्डलमय तो हरी हरी पृथ्वी माता है तो उस माता की सेवा करनी चाहिए भारत माता की। .. ऐसा भी कुछ चलता रहता है भारत माता की। ..
क्युकी पृथ्वी माता है वैसे एक समय तो भारत इंडिया का जितना नक्शा है उतना ही नहीं पूरी पृथ्वी का जो नक्शा है उसपे फैला हुआ था पूरी पृथ्वी ही भारत था आज भी है साडित है ढका हुआ है सारी पृथ्वी को हमे पुनः भारत बनाना है तो इस पृथ्वी का धरती का इस पृथ्वी के जो र्सोसेस है उपभोग लेना चाहते है इंदिरिया तृप्ति में जो लगे हुए है मनोरंजन जो चाहते है सुख सम्पति घर आवे चाहते है उनके कारण धरती माता परेशान होती है परेशान करते है या में कल कह रहा था की उसको नग्न करने का विवस्त्र करने का भी प्रयास होता है है हमारा डेफोरेस्टशन जब वन के वन उसको सम्पात किआ जा रहा है और कई सारे पेड़ काट के एक दो नहीं हज़ारो एकड़ भूमि को साफ़ किया जाता है फिर वहा कोई उद्योगपति इंडस्ट्री की स्थापना करता है तो में कह रहा था की जो वन है वह की हरियाली है वहा की वनस्पति है वृक्ष है ये वस्त्र है पृथ्वी का पहना हुआ वस्त्र है कई सारी हरी भरी है फिर एम्बोरिदरी भी है रंग बिरंगे फूल है दूससयान ने प्रयास तो किया ही द्रौपदी वस्त्रहरण का प्रयास किया द्रौपदी को अपमानित करने का जो प्रयास रहा उसका परिणाम आप जानते हो क्या निकला युद्ध हुआ महाभारत का और सभी का विनाश हुआ युद्ध के माध्यम से भगवान् ने कई सारे दुसासन दुर्योधन तो जो दुस्ट होते है कई सारे उन्होंने द्रौपदी को निवस्त्र करने का प्रयास किया तो वैसा ही प्रयास आजकल के दुसासक दुष शासन करने वाले पृथ्वी का डेफोरेस्टशन करते है पेड़ काटते है तोह उसका परिणाम भी कोणवीरस ऐसा कुछ आता है और फिर हमको दण्डित किया जाता है ये रोग आते है भोग का परिणाम फिर रोग हो जाता है भोग भोगना चाहते है धरती माता की सेवा करने के बजाये उसका भोग लेना चाहते है तो हरी हरी ! हिरयाणाक्ष ने जो भी किया भोग लेना का प्रयास किया उसका जो परिणाम निकला हम जानते है इतिहास अभी सनसिकपट में कह रहे थे तो सावधान उनको ऐसा चाहिए धरती माता की हमे सेवा करनी चाहिए धरती का उपयोग भगवान् की सेवा में करना चाहिए हरी हरी तभी ये धरती पृथ्वी प्रस्सन होगी आप घर भी बनाते हो पृथ्वी पर तो और आप वहा पर भगवान् की भक्ति कर रहे हो घर का आपने मंदिर बना लिआ तो ये सही उपयोग हुआ धरती का जमीं का और फिर पृथ्वी भी प्रस्सन और भगवान् पप्रस्सन भगवान् को प्रस्सन करते हो भूमि आप भगवान् की सेवा में उपयोग करते हो हरी हरी
कल या आज भी हम कहा है अमरावती में है यहाँ नव मंदिर निर्माण लिए और भी विशाल वैभवशाली मंदिर निर्माण के लिए भूमि की खोज में हमारे यहाँ के भक्त है तो और प्राथना कर रहे है और शायद हफ्ता दो हफ्ता पहले सूचना दिए थे की यहाँ के भक्त हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे ऐसे प्राथना करते हुए और वो प्राथना ऐसे अहर्निस २४ घण्टे रात दिन दिन और रात मंदिर में आके भी जप कर रहे है लगातार जप के साथ प्राथना की हमे भूमि प्राप्त हो ताकि उस भूमि की हम रुक्मिणी द्वारकादिश की जय रुक्मिणी द्वारकादिश की सेवा में उपयोग करेंगे तो हरे कृष्ण महामंत्र के साथ जप के साथ जो प्राथनाए हो रही है प्राथना भगवान् सुन रहे है और वे भगवान् जो सभी के हृदय प्रागण में विराजमान है उनमे से कुछ लोगो को व्यक्तियों को भगवान् प्रेरणा दे रहे है और कल हम एक फंक्शन में मंदिर में जो फंक्शन सम्प्पन हुआ तो कई लोगो ने घोसणाए की और कल कुल ८ एकड़ भूमि दान देने का संकल्प यहाँ के भक्तो ने किया तो किसी ने एक एकड़ किसी ने २ एकड़ तो ये भी एक उदेस्य है की उसमे से किसी एक भूमि पर मंदिर का निर्माण होगा लेकिन बाकी जो भूमि है जो भक्त दान दे रहे है कुछ बिक्री वगैरह की जाएगी और उससे धन राशि जो प्राप्त होगी उसका उपयोग मंदिर निर्माण के लिए नव मंदिर निर्माण के लिए किया जायेगा तो इस छेत्र के भक्तगण भक्त बन रहे है अपने पास जो भूमि है हिस्सा कुछ भूमि भगवान् की सेवा में सम्पर्पित कर रहे है तो फंक्शन में आये जो थे उनमे से कुछ ने कहा हमारा माकन है एक एक्स्ट्रा माकन है हम उसको बेचेंगे तो ऐसे ही कुछ माकन हमारा प्लाट है कुछ लोग पहुंच नहीं पाए फंक्शन में तो फंक्शन के उपरांत जब में निवास स्थान पर पहुंचा तो वह एक परिवार आगया महाराज हम हमे माफ़ कर दीजिये हम पहुंच नहीं पाए समय पर पर हमारी भूमि है कृपया स्वीकार कीजिये तो उन्होंने अपनी भूमि दान का भी संकल्प ले लिए तो हरे कृष्ण महामंत्र के साथ जप के साथ प्राथनाए हो रही है
और इससे लोगो के अंतकरण में कुछ सुधिकरण हो रहा है और लोगो प्रेरणा प्राप्त हो रही है अंदर से भगवान कुछ कह रहे है ये सेवा करो भूमि दान दो धन दान दो रुक्मिणी द्वारकादिश की सेवा में तो उन दानदाताओ ने संकल्प लिया उनके भी हम भगवान् की और से आभार मानते है और भगवान् उनको अपना प्रेम प्रदान करे प्रेम दे प्रेममयी सेवा दे भगवान् कृतग्य है जो भी व्यक्ति भगवान् की सेवा करते है भगवान् उसको याद रखते है और सोचते है इस व्यक्ति के लिए में क्या कर सकता हु किया वो किया फिर छोटी या मोती मुक्ति भाव के साथ सेवा अर्पित की तो मुझे भी कुछ करना होगा सोचते है और जरूर करते है भगवान् कृतग्य है और भी बहुत कुछ कर सकते है लेकिन वो प्रेम ही दे सकते है प्रेम ही दे सकते है उस सेवा करने वाले भक्त को तो और क्या चाहिए और कुछ चाहिए भगवान् ने आपको प्रेम दिया प्रेममयी सेवा दी यही परफेक्शन है हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे जब हम करते रहते है जप करते है कीर्तन करते है हमे सेवा के योग्य बना दो ऐसे प्राथना भी हम करते है भगवान् करे आप सभी की प्राथना भगवान् सुने जल्द से जल्द और आपको प्रेममयी सेवा दे आपको प्रेममयी सेवा प्राप्त हो ये हमारी भगवान् के चरणों में प्राथना है ! हरे कृष्णा !

The True Lifetime Achievement Award
Today 550 devotees are chanting with us. Greetings to all of you as you are receiving the mercy of the holy name.
One who is humble is eligible to receive mercy. We have utensils in the kitchen to keep something. In the same way we have to humble ourselves in order to be qualifiedto receive and retain what we have received. Many of you have congratulated me for the life time achievement award. You have noted down what I spoke about yesterday. This award is not my glorification, but they have glorified the Lord, Srila Prabhupada and ancient India. Whatever a devotee becomes, is all because of the mercy of our previous acaryas, Guru and Gauranga.
jogyata-vicare, kichu nahi pai,
tomara karuna—sara
karuna na hoile, kandiya kandiya,
prana na rakhibo ara
Translation
If you examine me, you will find no qualities. Your mercy is all that I am made of. If You are not mercifulunto me, I can only weep, and I will not be able to maintain my life.
We still have to receive the mercy. We haven’t yet achieved the complete mercy. I was thinking that still there is so much to do.
nayanam galad-ashru-dharaya
vadanam gadgada-ruddhaya gira
pulakair nichitam vapuh kada
tava nama-grahane bhavishyati
Translation
O my Lord, when will my eyes be decorated with tears of love flowing constantly when I chant Your holy name? When will my voice choke up, and when will the hairs of my body stand on end at the recitation of Your name?[Siksastakam 6]
Some part has been heard and some not. When will I become qualified to have such a day that when I hear the holy names, tears will glide from my eyes? When will my soul hear Hare Krishna and realise that Hare Krishna is the Lord Himself? When will my soul need Their Lordships?Then there will be tears and choking of the throat. Lord Caitanya prayed in this way. When will be we able to chant in this way? When will I get the result of such a prayer? Something is yet to come.
Today is Bhaumi Ekadashi as well as Varaha Dwadasi. We are fasting today for both. Upavaas- Upa means near and Vaas means association. We are close, closer and closest. We try to be closer to the Lord. We should try to do strong sadhana today. It’s not just fasting from grains or eating little. Yes, one should eat less. Excessive eating always keeps going on.
atyaharah prayasas ca
prajalpo niyamagrahah
jana-sangas ca laulyam ca
sadbhir bhaktir vinasyati
Translation
One’s devotional service is spoiled when he becomes too entangled in the following six activities: (1) eating more than necessary or collecting more funds than required; (2) overendeavoring for mundane things that are very difficult to obtain; (3) talking unnecessarily about mundane subject matters; (4) Practicing the scriptural rules and regulations only for the sake of following them and not for the sake of spiritual advancement, or rejecting the rules and regulations of the scriptures and working independently or whimsically; (5) associating with worldly-minded persons who are not interested in Krsna conscionsness; and (6) being greedy for mundane achievements.[NOI 2]
When we hear Atyahara we just think of eating, but Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur says that Atyahara is there for all senses. All senses like the eyes – see, nose-smell, ears-hear. In this way sense objects are food for the senses. Touch is food for the skin. The skin tries to eat soft skin or limbs. Men feel the touch of women. The skin wants to gobble up that touch. They want to embrace. You can understand. There are five sense objects. This is also calledfood for thought. Thinking, feeling, willing, accepting and rejecting keeps on going within the mind. The mind likes something, dislikes something. Acceptance and rejection keeps going on within the mind, 24 hours a day even while sleeping also. There is Jagriti, Susupti and for sometime Turya (transcendental). The mind keeps on devouring many thoughts. Some things we like and some things we don’t like.
Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur has said that not only the tongue, but we have to fast all other senses also. We keep on consuming various sense objects with our senses. This is not favourable for devotional service. On this day we don’t eat grains, but we eat fruit prasada. Apart from this also there are many senses and they should also undergo fasting.
There will be a Bhagavtam class at ISKCON Nagpur. I have to get ready. Many people do not understand the meaning of Upavaas. Real meaning is to spend time in close association with the Lord by controlling the senses and the mind. Instead of engaging the senses in gratifying sense objects we have to make the Lord the object of our senses. Take darsana of the Lord, Study more, hear more with your ears, smell what has been offered to the Lord. Keep your senses engaged. Feed them nicely. Make Krsna the object of your senses. In this way make your life successful and achieve the real glory of our life.
yaṁ yaṁ vāpi smaran bhāvaṁ tyajatyante kalevaram
taṁ tam evaiti kaunteya sadā tad-bhāva-bhāvitaḥ
Translation:
Whatever one remembers upon giving up the body at the time of death, O son of Kunti, one attains that state, being always absorbed in such contemplation. [BG 8.6]
etāvān sāṅkhya-yogābhyāṁ
svadharma-pariniṣṭhayā
janma-lābhaḥ paraḥ puṁsām
ante nārāyaṇa-smṛtiḥ
Translation:
The highest perfection of human life, achieved either by complete knowledge of matter and spirit, by acquirement of mystic powers, or by perfect discharge of one’s occupational duty, is to remember the Personality of Godhead at the end of life. [SB 2.1.6]
sa vai manaḥ kṛṣṇa-padāravindayor
vacāṁsi vaikuṇṭha-guṇānuvarṇane
karau harer mandira-mārjanādiṣu
śrutiṁ cakārācyuta-sat-kathodaye
mukunda-liṅgālaya-darśane dṛśau
tad-bhṛtya-gātra-sparśe ’ṅga-saṅgamam
ghrāṇaṁ ca tat-pāda-saroja-saurabhe
śrīmat-tulasyā rasanāṁ tad-arpite
pādau hareḥ kṣetra-padānusarpaṇe
śiro hṛṣīkeśa-padābhivandane
kāmaṁ ca dāsye na tu kāma-kāmyayā
yathottamaśloka-janāśrayā ratiḥ
Translation:
Mahārāja Ambarīṣa always engaged his mind in meditating upon the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa, his words in describing the glories of the Lord, his hands in cleansing the Lord’s temple, and his ears in hearing the words spoken by Kṛṣṇa or about Kṛṣṇa. He engaged his eyes in seeing the Deity of Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa’s temples and Kṛṣṇa’s places like Mathurā and Vṛndāvana, he engaged his sense of touch in touching the bodies of the Lord’s devotees, he engaged his sense of smell in smelling the fragrance of tulasī offered to the Lord, and he engaged his tongue in tasting the Lord’s prasāda. He engaged his legs in walking to the holy places and temples of the Lord, his head in bowing down before the Lord, and all his desires in serving the Lord, twenty-four hours a day. Indeed, Mahārāja Ambarīṣa never desired anything for his own sense gratification. He engaged all his senses in devotional service, in various engagements related to the Lord. This is the way to increase attachment for the Lord and be completely free from all material desires. [SB 9.4.18-20]
sarvopādhi-vinirmuktaṁ
tat-paratvena nirmalam
hṛṣīkeṇa hṛṣīkeśa-
sevanaṁ bhaktir ucyate
Translation:
‘Bhakti, or devotional service, means engaging all our senses in the service of the Lord, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the master of all the senses. When the spirit soul renders service unto the Supreme, there are two side effects. One is freed from all material designations, and one’s senses are purified simply by being employed in the service of the Lord. [CC Madhya Lila 19.170]
If we are able to remember the Lord at the end of our life then that is the true life time achievement. Achieve that true lifetime achievement.

Holy name: Caitanya rasa vigraha
I interrupted you in your Japa. Please forgive me for that. Now we just chanted. After japa, we have a japa talk.This is going on for 1 year and 1 month. Radio conferences keep going on in the world. I would chant in the morning and devotees of those respective temples would chant along with me. Then the thought of chanting on this zoom conference came and now we have devotees from 503 places chanting with us.
Pune is one of the locations. 10 to 20 countries are also participating in this conference. Devotees who do not get any association or are grihasta devotees, benefit by joining this japa conference. There is a small place called Reunion Island. There are just a handful devotees and they also join this japa conference. In this way many devotees join. Many devotees are from India and hence we do the japa talk in Hindi. English transcription also takes place and it is also transcribed in Russian. Many devotees from temples and BACE join. We have taken this initiative. You can also follow in the same way by chanting with your counselees.
There can be a japa and a japa talk. Walk the talk. Many devotees are benefitting and thanking me for this. So how can I stop? Devotees from Mauritius, Toronto, Moscow are chanting with us. While chanting we are benefitted by the place and the association of devotees. When we chant we are protected because of the association of the devotees. We have to think of devotees before thinking of the world of Maya. When we do japa then we are protected and we are benefitted by Krishna conscious thoughts.This helps our chanting. Devotees take benefit of this facility. Many are nodding their heads. There can be a question answer session also.
Sometimes a dialogue can take place with the help of this chanting facility. We chant for 45 minutes and have a 15 minute japa talk. The chanting of the holy names is dharma. Philosophy has to be there with religion. Japa talk is there for philosophy. Religion without philosophy is sentimentalism. We need to understand the glories of the holy names. Package of japa and japa talk becomes a complete presentation. We don’t have any talk in any particular sequence. I just share my realisations. Sometimes I share those in series.
In ISKCON, senior devotees are welcomed by chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra three times. I was also welcomed in this way. When I was hearing this announcement, a thought came in my mind. I thought Krsna will also be there to welcome me. When devotees say we welcome by chanting Hare Krishna I realised that the Lord will also be there to welcome. What is siddhanta?
naham tisthami vaikunthe
yoginam hrdayesu va
tatra tisthami narada
yatra gayanti mad-bhaktah
Translation:
“I am not in Vaikuntha nor in the hearts of the yogis. I remain where My devotees engage in glorifying My activities.”
nāma-cintāmaṇe kṛṣṇa

bhinnātman karuṇāmaya
Translation
O Lord whose holy name is a cintamani jewel! All-attractive Lord Krsna! Lord whose form is spiritual nectar! Perfect and pure Lord! Eternal Lord! Liberated Lord! Lord not different from Your holy name! Merciful Lord! [Song Nama Cintamani Krsna 1]
Nama and Nami are non different. I thought that the Lord will also be there.When we relate this with our chanting and chant, then we can think that the Lord is welcoming us and saying ‘Thank you.’ When we chant we all call Radha and Krsna . They appear in front of us and respond also. Chanting means an interview with the Lord. This is a personal dialogue with the Lord. When there is an interview, we shake hands also. Japa means a meeting with the Lord. When we are chanting, I am sure that the Lord could welcome you. This happens when we say Hare Krishna. This is not only shaking hands, but embracing each other. In this way devotees keep on welcoming each other. In the same way we will be welcomed at the entrance of Vaikuntha.
Dhundhukari listened to this katha for 7 days and an airplane came from Vaikuntha for him. He took his seat in that plane. Gokarna, the speaker asked why he was going alone when all had heard the katha. In the same way why is Radheshyam Prabhu going ahead alone? There was an air host only, no air hostesses. There was a difference in the hearing. One heard without committing offences and one heard committing offences. Only one devotee was contemplating on what he heard. This is called manan, smaran. This is not just to be accumulated, but also assimilated and only one person heard in this way. One should contemplate on what one has heard. Gokarna then asked what would happen to these people. They were given a list of offences which they had committed. If they heard attentively without committing offences then they could be taken back to Godhead. There was a list of dos and don’ts (vidhi and nishedh). Next time when all heard the katha in this way, they brought a big jumbo jet, like a 747. Earlier there was just a helicopter. In this way thousands were greeted. Individuals can also be welcomed as well. We were welcomed at the time of japa. In this way we were welcomed and we got the association of the Lord.
Nama is the Lord. From that the form will manifest. That’s why we call Nama Prabhu. It indicates that the Lord is a person. While chanting, that same name can give us darsana. The name is the complete Lord, full of all opulences. There is no difference between Nama and Lord. One must think of the Lord, His form, pastimes and associates while chanting.
dadāti pratigṛhṇāti
guhyam ākhyāti pṛcchati
bhuṅkte bhojayate caiva
ṣaḍ-vidhaṁ prīti-lakṣaṇam
Translation:
Offering gifts in charity, accepting charitable gifts, revealing one’s mind in confidence, inquiring confidentially, accepting prasāda and offering prasāda are the six symptoms of love shared by one devotee and another. [NOI 4]
In this way we can meet the Lord and also discuss confidential matters by revealing our heart. The Lord hears. He may not respond on the spot. But if you call from the core of your heart then surely, He will reciprocate. It might not be immediate, but He will surely respond in His way and by His calculation, He will respond and answer. It might be that devotees answer our questions. Gandhiji said that he referred to Bhagavad-Gita when in difficulty. The Lord is very personal. No one is as personal as the Lord. There is need, interest and concern. NIC.
The Lord is our best friend and He knows our needs, interests and concerns. If He thinks about us then why worry? Then there is,
ananyāś cintayanto māṁ
ye janāḥ paryupāsate
teṣāṁ nityābhiyuktānāṁ
yoga-kṣemaṁ vahāmy aham
Translation:
But those who always worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental form – to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have. [BG 9.22]
He keeps his promise,
man-manā bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru
mām evaiṣyasi satyaṁ te
pratijāne priyo ’si me
Translation:
Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend. [BG 18.65]
We have to do our part then the rest is taken care of by Krsna. This is His promise. When we call the all – powerful Lord, then He reveals Himself to us.
sarva-dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
moksayisyami ma sucah
Translation:
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear. [BG 18.66]

आप सभीका स्वागत है। हरि हरि !!!
कल से में अबतक बीड में ही हु, कल और भी एक समारोह हुआ। “सालगिरह” राधा गोविन्द मंदिर सालगिरह समारोह १७ वा वर्धापन दिन सम्पन्न हुआ। हरि हरि यहाँ के राधा गोविन्द बहुत ही सूंदर है और उनके सौंदर्य का क्या केहना। तो आप प्रतिभागियों इस जुम कॉन्फरेंस के देखलो कभी यहाँ आकर राधा गोविन्द का भी बीड में दर्शन करो। हरि हरि !! यहाँ हरिनाम का भी काफी प्रचार है। तो जब १७ साल पहले मंदिर का उद्घाटन हुआ । मंदिर बना तो दर्शन मंड़प छोटा ही था । उस समय तो लगता था बड़ा है लेकिन जब संख्या बढ़ गई तो अब महसूस कर रहे है की बहुत छोटा है । कुछ २०० भक्त दर्शन मंडप में बैठ सकते ऐसी व्यवस्था है ।इतना ही आकर है। तो कल भूमी पूजन भी हुआ। राधा गोविन्द मंदिर कहो या राधा गोविन्द दर्शन मंड़प का नव निर्माण के हेतु भूमी पूजन भी संपर्ण हुआ और अब हॉल तो २०० भक्तो के लिए पर्याप्त होता था ।अब दो हज़ार भक्त बैठ सकते है। ऐसी व्यवस्था उपलब्ध है। इतना बड़ा हॉल बनाने का संकल्प और उसके हेतु भूमी पूजन भी हुआ है। हरि हरि!! जरूर या राधा गोविन्द के भक्त, इस्कॉन बीड के भक्त और हमारे कुछ विशेष दान दाता है वे उस संकल्प को पूरा करेंगे इतने में समाचार आया की इस्कॉन सोलापुर के १५० भक्त अभी अभी दिंडी में सोलापुर से पंढरपुर दिंडी प्रारंभ किये है और हरिनाम का प्रचार करते हुए :

पंढरपुर के लिए प्रस्थान कर रहे है ऐसे उनका भी वार्षिक उत्सव है दिंडी महाराष्ट्र में इसको दिंडी कहते है। हमलोग इसको पदयात्रा भी कहते है। इस्कॉन में पदयात्रा कहते है ।तो उन भक्तो का भी स्वागत है और अभिनन्दन है जो इस्कॉन सोलापुर के १५० भक्त हरिनाम प्रचार के लिए निकले है रास्ते में आने वाले कई सारे गाऊँ में नगरों में और पदयात्रा का प्रचार तो केवल नगर आदि ग्राम में ही नहीं होता नगरों में ग्रामो मंल नहीं होता ग्रामो के विच में भी एक गाऊँ और दुशरे गाऊँ के विच में भी हमारी पदयात्रा हरीनाम का प्रचार करती है , चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने तो कहा था हरिनाम का प्रचार हर नगर में होगा हर ग्राम में होगा लेकिन पदयात्रा उस भविष्यवाणी को साकार कर रही है या उस से ज्यादा पुरी कर रही है, उस भविष्यवाणी का। ये भविष्यवाणी को सच कर रही है पदयात्रा क्यूँकि पदयात्री नगरों और ग्रामो के मध्य में, वीच में भी कीर्तन कर रहें है और हरिनाम का प्रचार कर रहे है। हरि हरि!! आज विशेष तिथि भी है। आज श्रील माधवाचार्य तिरोभाव तिथि महोत्सव है।
श्रील माधवाचार्य तिरोभाव तिथि महोतशाव की जये !!!
आप समझते हो तिरोभाव क्या होता है ।तिरोभाव एक होता है आविर्भाव जन्मदिन और तिरोभाव ,महाराष्ट्र में पुण्य तिथि कहते है। आज का दिन भी पुण्य दिन है। आज के दिन माधवचार्य भगवद्धाम के लिए प्रस्थान किये या नित्य लीला प्रविष्ठ हुए ।भगवान के नित्य लीला में उन्होंने पुनः प्रवेश किया ऐसे माधवाचार्य वे हमारे भी आचार्य है।
*धर्मं तु साक्षाद्भगवत्प्रणीतं*
*न वै विदुऋर्षयो नापि देवा:* ।
*न सिद्धमुख्या असुरा मनुष्या:*
*कुतो नु विद्याधरचारणादय:* ॥
(श्रीमद्भागवतम् ६.३.१९ )
वैसे धर्मं तो भगवान जो देते है उसको धर्मं कहते है। धर्मं भगवान देते है।
धर्मं तु साक्षाद्भगवत्प्रणीतं
न वै विदुऋर्षयो नापि देवा: ।
न सिद्धमुख्या असुरा मनुष्या:
कुतो नु विद्याधरचारणादय: ॥
(श्रीमद्भागवतम् ६.३.१९)
*परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् |*
*धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ||*
(भगवद्गीता ४.८)
भगवान आके धर्मं कि स्थापना करते है और फिर उस धर्मं कि पुनः स्थापना कहिये या भगवान ने दिए हुए ।उस धर्मं का प्रचार और प्रसार का कार्य आचार्यवृंद करते है। भगवान कि व्यवस्था से, कृष्ण कि व्यवस्था से ४ प्रामाणिक परम्पराए है :
१) ब्रह्म सम्प्रदाय
२) रूद्र सम्प्रदाय
३) श्री सम्प्रदाय
४) कुमार सम्प्रदाय
ये चार सम्प्रदाय है।
*संप्रदाय-विहीना ये मंत्रस ते निष्फल मतः (पद्म पुराण)*
जो हम मंत्र प्राप्त करते हे इस परंपरा का मंत्र होना चाहिए ।परंपरा के वहार वाला मंत्र नहीं होना चाहिए।
*श्री भगवान उवाच :*
*एवं परम्पराप्राप्तमिमं राजर्षयो विदुः ।*
*स कालेनेह महता योगे नष्टः परन्तप*॥ २ ॥ (भगवद्गीता ४.२)
ज्ञान या मंत्र परंपरा से प्राप्त करना चाहिए इसको संप्रदाय भी कहते हैं।
आज कल तो कई सारे सम्प्रदाय तो कई सम्प्रदायिक कीर्तन, … लेकिन उस में से कई सारे कथा कथित ही संप्रदाय होते है। फिर भगवान की मान्यता या स्वकृति तो या भगवान का आशीर्वाद ये चार प्रामाणिक परंपरा को प्राप्त है और उस में से ब्रह्म संप्रदाय और जिस संप्रदाय में माध्वाचार्य प्रकट हुए और उसी सम्प्रदाय में फिर आगे श्री कृष्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु भी प्रकट हुए या उसी संप्रदाय में माधवेंद्र पूरी प्रकट हुए या श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु और षड्गोस्वामीवृन्द और फिर हम भी ,
श्रील प्रभुपाद कि जय !!! श्रील प्रभुपाद भी ,
हम ब्रह्म मध्वगौड़ीय संप्रदाय के भक्त हैं ।तो मध्वाचार्य का बहुत बड़ा योगदान रहा वैसे भगवान आते हैं। कब आते हैं भगवान ? *यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य* जब धर्म की ग्लानि होती है ,और अधर्म का उत्थान होता है अधर्म बड़ता है और धर्म घटता है या इसका ह्रास होता है । *तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम्* तब मैं प्रगट होता हूं – भगवान कहते है। तो केवल भगवान ही प्रकट नहीं होते। जब जब *यदा यदा ही धर्मस्य* धर्म की हानि होती है भगवान, भगवान भी प्रकट
होते हैं लेकिन भगवान ही प्रकट नहीं होते कुछ विशेष आचार्यों को भी प्रकट करते हैं ।विशेष आचार्य को विशेष शक्ति प्रदान करके “पॉवर ऑफ़ अटॉर्नी ” देकर उनको इस संसार में भेजते हैं ।ताकि वो क्या करेंगे धर्म की पुनः स्थापना करेंगे तो यह चार वैष्णव आचार्य हुए चार संप्रदाय के चार परंपराओं में रामानुजाचार्य मध्वाचार्य विष्णुस्वामी और निंबार्काचार्य यह सभी सभी चार आचार्य दक्षिण भारत में प्रकट हुए और इन चार संप्रदायों के पहले शंकराचार्य प्रकट हुए और उन्होंने *मायावादं असत्य शास्त्रं*
मायावादी सूट मूट का असत्य शास्त्र है उसका प्रचार किया, अद्वैतवाद का प्रचार किया भगवान और जीव एक ही हैं ।उसका प्रचार किया अहम् ब्रह्मास्मि ब्रह्म अलग नहीं है मैं ही ब्रह्म हूं या
परब्रह्म एक जीवात्मा दूसरा ऐसा बात नहीं है। इसके कारण धर्म की ग्लानि हुई या धर्म की हानि हुई ।
तो मध्वाचार्य प्रगट हुए कर्नाटक में उड़पी नाम का स्थान है ।वहां के उड़पी कृष्ण भी प्रसिद्ध है। उड़पी से कुछ ही दूरी पर मध्वाचार्य की जन्म स्थली है। तो वहां जन्मे मध्वाचार्य और बाल अवस्था में है प्रकांड विद्वान थे या प्रकांड विद्वान बने *दिव्य ज्ञान ह्रदय प्रकाशित* दिव्यज्ञान भगवान ने उनके ह्रदय में प्रकाशित किया और उस ज्ञान का प्रचार प्रसार ही तो मध्वाचार्य किए बाल अवस्था में मध्वाचार्य सन्यास लिए
आजकल तो लोग बूढ़े होने के उपरांत भी घर नहीं छोड़ते लेकिन माध्वाचार्य कुछ बालक ही थे और सन्यास लिया और सर्वत्र परिभ्रमण किया उन्होंने और मायावाद का खंडन किया। माध्वाचार्य ने कई सारे ग्रंथ लिखे *भागवत तात्पर्य* नाम का ग्रंथ उनका प्रसिद्ध है । *मायाबाद सत् दुश्मनी* माया बात का खंडन करते हुए उन्होंने कुछ विशेष वचन लिखें । जिसका वह प्रचार करते थे। भ्रमण करते करते मध्वाचार्य मायापुर पहुंचे थे यह कुछ 800 वर्ष पूर्व की बात है 800 साल पहले साडे सात सौ आठ सौ वर्ष पहले मध्वाचार्य थे। तो आप जानते ही हो 500 वर्ष पूर्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु प्रगट हुए ।वैसे मुझे यह कहना था कि यह चारों वैष्णव आचार्य एक के बाद एक मायापुर जाते हैं और इन्हें दर्शन दिए , श्री कृष्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु सभी की मुलाकात हुई चैतन्य महाप्रभु के साथ ।
500 वर्ष पूर्व चेतन महाप्रभु ने अपनी प्रकट लीला का दर्शन कराया लेकिन वहां नित्य लीला में तो नित्य विद्यमान है ,मायापुर में तो प्राकट्य के पहले भी चैतन्य महाप्रभु वहां थे और अब भी वहां है ,चैतन्य महाप्रभु अपने नित्य लीला मैं ऐसा समझना चाहिए ।तो नित्य लीला तो संपन्न हो रही थी जब माध्वाचार्य से मिले तो उन्होंने माध्वाचार्य संप्रदाय से दो विशेष बातों का, यह मध्वाचार्य संप्रदाय का वैशिष्ट्य है । उन दो वैशिष्ट्य को ,उनकी खासियत कहिए, उनकी विशेषता अपने संप्रदाय गौड़ीय संप्रदाय में चेतन महाप्रभु ने अपनाया एक तो है माया बाद का खंडन जिस से प्रभावित थे श्री कृष्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु और श्री कृष्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने भी कहा *मायावादी भाष्य सुनीला होयिला सर्वनाश* मायावदी भाषा सुनोगे – ब्रह्म सत्य जगत मिथ्या कोई रूप है तो वह मिथ्या भगवान का रूप भी मिथ्या है। भगवान का ना तो कोई नाम है ना कोई काम है। भगवान कुछ नहीं करते मतलब कोई कुछ करता हैं तो वो माया है कुछ बोलता है तो वह माया है ।ऐसा माया वाद कि समाज है तो श्री कृष्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने मध्वाचार्य से अपने संप्रदाय में मायावाद का खंडन को स्वीकार किया जैसे माध्वाचार्य इतने कट्टर विरोधी थे। शंकराचार्य तो जीव और भगवान एक है। इसी को अद्वैत कहते हैं। अद्वैत मतलब “अ” – नहीं “द्वैत” – दो नहीं है। जीव, “जीव आत्मा” परमात्मा “भगवान” दो नहीं है दोनों एक ही हैं । हरि हरि !!ऐसा उल्टा सीधा जो शंकराचार्य असत्य प्रचार किए थे तो उसका खंडन किया ।तो शंकराचार्य कहे जीव भगवान एक है अद्वित है ।तो मध्वाचार्य ने कहां और दिखाया भी नहीं दो है मध्वाचार्य का जब हम दर्शन करते हैं ।उनका दर्शन उनकी तस्वीर देखते हैं चित्र देखते हैं तो कैसे दिखते हैं दो उंगली दिखाते हुए दो है – दो है एक नहीं है। दो है- द्वेत ‘जीव भी है और भगवान भी है ’ और यह नहीं कि कुछ समय के लिए वह दो है । सदा के लिए दो है।
*ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन: ।*
*मन:षष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति ॥ ७ ॥* ( भगवत गीता 15.7)
उसको आगे हम समझाते हैं और भगवान भी कहे जीवात्मा अंश है और भगवान अंशी है ऐसी कुछ शास्त्र की भाषा है। तो भगवान को कहते हैं अंशी और जीवात्मा है अंश हम भगवान के अंश हैं और भगवान पूर्ण है। भगवान भी है भगवान पूर्ण रूप में है ।
ॐ पूर्णमद: पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात् , पूर्ण मुदच्यते,
पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय, पूर्ण मेवा वशिष्यते।
भगवान पूर्ण है और हम उनके अंश है और सनातन है सदा के लिए के लिए अंश है ये नहीं कि अभी अंश और साधना करेगा जप तप करेंगे तो फिर पुनः भगवान के साथ मिल जाएगा या भगवान में लीन होगा यह लीन होने की बात है ।
उसको माधवाचार्य ने नहीं माना ।यह माधवाचार्य की देन रही ।मध्वाचार्य का बहुत बड़ा योगदान हे।यह मायावाद का खंडन और दूसरी बात श्री कृष्ण चैतन्य महाप्रभु को पसंद आई वह है, विग्रह आराधना मध्वाचार्य जिस पद्धति से या भावों के साथ अपने उड़पी कृष्णा,
कृष्ण का नाम ही हुआ उड़पी कृष्णा उनकी आराधना करते थे। उनके आराधना की पद्धति और मायावाद का खंडन श्री कृष्ण चेतन महाप्रभु स्वीकार किए वैसे माधवाचार्य वायु देवता के अवतार ही माने जाते हैं। जैसे हनुमान थे पवन पुत्र । वैसे ही माध्वाचार्य वायु देवता के अवतार थे । इसलिए शक्तिमान भी थे । कई बार वो उड़ान भी भरते छलांग भी मारते जैसे हनुमान मारते थे वैसे ही माधवाचार्य भी पहाड़ से नीचे सीढ़ी से नहीं उतरते ऐसे ही कूद पढ़ते या छलांग मारते ।ऐसा शारीरिक बल भी था। माध्वाचार्य में एक बोट द्वारिका से उड़पी में पहुंची थी वो आंधी तूफान में फंसी थी । डामाडोल ,डूबने की संभावना थी ।तो माध्वाचार्य ने देखा उस बोट का क्या हाल हो रहा है ।डामाडोल हो रही है ।डूब सकती है। तो माध्वाचार्य जो पवन पुत्र या वायु देवता के अवतार हैं हवा बह रही है आंधी तूफान …
तो माध्वाचार्य ने उसको रोक लिया और उनके संकल्प मात्र से हवा ठंडी हो गई
मंद मंद बहने लगी और वोट की रक्षा हुई वोट में जो सामान था उसकी रक्षा हुई और उस बोट के मालिक भी होंगे जो माध्वाचार्य से प्रसन्न हुए उन्होंने जो मदद की वोट को बचाया समुद्र में डूबने से समुद्र में डूबने वाली थी तो माध्वाचार्य को पुरस्कार दिया धन्यवाद !! कहकर मुख्य से आभार प्रगट ही नहीं किया कुछ दे दिया उन्होंने दो बॉक्स दे दिए ,2 पेटी दे दी सुदेव से या भगवान की कृपा से 2 पेटी में दो भगवान के विग्रह थे एक में थे कृष्ण और दूसरे में थे बलराम तो माधवाचार्य ने उन दो पेटियों को अपने सिर पर ढोते हुए उड़पी ले आए उस समय उन्होंने जो उदगार कहे स्तुति की वह प्रसिद्ध है। फिर विग्रह की स्थापना वह उड़पी मैं की। बलराम के स्थापना तो समुद्र के निकट ही हुई और श्री कृष्ण की स्थापना नगर में हुई या उड़पी शहर में ,शहर के मध्य में हुई अभी भी वहां कृष्णा स्थापित है अर्चित है। उनकी अर्चना होती है। यह एक बहुत बड़ी घटना है। जिसमें माधवाचार्य अपनी शक्ति अपनी भक्ति का भी प्रदर्शन किये मध्वाचार्य भ्रमण करते हुए बद्रिका आश्रम भी गए थे ।जहां बद्रिकाश्रम में निवास करते हैं श्रीला व्यास देव और व्यास गुफा भी है। एक गणेश गुफा भी है बद्रिका आश्रम में तो मध्वाचार्य को दर्शन हुआ मध्वाचार्य देखें ,मुलाकात हुई उनकी गले मिले हाथ मिलाए दोनों बैठे वार्तालाप हुआ।
श्रीला व्यास देव माधवाचार्य को कुछ शिक्षा दिए कुछ उपदेश किए और उन उपदेशों शिक्षाओ की मदद से मध्वाचार्य ने कई सारे ग्रंथों की रचनाएं की कई सारी टिकाएं लिखी उनकी महाभारत की टीका भी प्रसिद्ध है ,मध्वाचार्य की। जिन्होंने महाभारत लिखा उन श्रील व्यास देव ने दर्शन दिया मध्वाचार्य को उन्होंने विशेष शिक्षा उपदेश दिया तो फिर मध्वाचार्य महाभारत पर टिका लिखी हैं। जो विशेष प्रसिद्ध है सुप्रसिद्ध है।
हरी हरी !! हम तो नहीं देखे 1977 में या संक्षिप्त में कहूंगा हम भी बद्रिकाश्रम से लौटे मैं और मेरे साथी ब्रह्मचारी साथी मैं सन्यासी था। तो वृंदावन में आए नवंबर मास में श्रील प्रभुपाद से मिले श्रील प्रभुपाद का स्वास्थ्य ठीक नहीं था या कुछ 1 सप्ताह पहले की बात है प्रभुपाद ने 14 नवंबर 1977 के दिन उनका तिरोभाव हुआ। श्रील प्रभुपाद भागवत धाम लौटे। उसके 1 सप्ताह पहले की बात है ।बद्रिका आश्रम से लौटे तो श्रील प्रभुपाद ने कृपा की हमें दर्शन दिया तो उस समय हम अपने बद्रीका आश्रम का कुछ अनुभव सुना रहे थे। श्रीला प्रभुपाद को तो हमने ये कहा था कि हम बद्रिका आश्रम में गए थे उसमें हम एक गुफा में गए और हमने आपकी भगवत गीता श्रील व्यास देव को दिखाइए तो श्रील व्यास ने आपकी भगवद्गीता देखी। तो ऐसी बात जब हमने श्रीला प्रभुपाद को सुनाएं तो श्रीला प्रभुपाद बहुत प्रसन्न थे तो प्रभुपाद की भगवत गीता यथारूप शीला व्यास देव को हमने दिखाइए । ऐसा हमने कहा हमने तो नहीं देखा था श्रीलव्यास देव को लेकिन हमने सोचा व्यास गुफा में गए हम ,तो व्यास देव तो वहां रहते ही हैं ।हमने उनको नहीं देखा लेकिन उन्होंने हमें जरूर देखा होगा तो यह बात श्रील प्रभुपाद सुन कर बहुत प्रसन्नता थे कि हमने उनकी भगवत गीता को व्यास देव को दिखाया श्रील व्यास देव की जय!!
तो उसी परंपरा में श्रील व्यास देव भी,
ब्रह्मा व्यास मध्व गौड़ीय संप्रदाय हमारा है।

There is a Ravana in our heart
I’m here in Beed. Yesterday we had Krsna Balarama Ratha-yatra Festival. All participated, chanted and danced with great enthusiasm in the Ratha-yatra. The Deities of Gaur-Nitai were also there on the chariot. It was announced that this will be a Krsna Balarama Ratha-yatra. Krsna Balarama were welcomed and a Shobha yatra happened. When I saw all the people dancing and chanting with devotion, I got the memory of the return of Rama, Laksman, and Sītā to Ayodhya and how the residents of Ayodhya welcomed them back with great enthusiasm. I saw devotees were whirling their upper garments in the air. Similarly, ten lakh years ago the residents of Ayodhya welcomed the procession towards the palace. It has been explained in Ramayana. Nowadays I am reading and hearing Ramayana.
paritranaya sadhunam
vinasaya ca duskrtam
dharma-samsthapanarthaya
sambhavami yuge yuge ( BG 4.8)
Translation:
In order to deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I advent Myself millennium after millennium.
Ravana and all his associates and demons were killed by Rama, Laksman, Sugriva, Hanuman, and an army of monkeys and bears. When those demons were killed Mandodari, Ravan’s wife (having manda udara which is a symptom of beauty) was also there. When she reached the battlefield, all the women were searching for the bodies of their husbands. Mandodari also started to look for Ravana’s body. Sukadeva Goswami has described this in two chapters in the 9th canto in Srimad-Bhagavatam.
hā hatāḥ sma vayaṁ nātha
loka-rāvaṇa rāvaṇa
kaṁ yāyāc charaṇaṁ laṅkā
tvad-vihīnā parārditā (SB 9.10.26)
Translation:
O my Lord, O Master! You epitomized trouble for others, and therefore you were called Rāvaṇa. But now that you have been defeated, we also are defeated, for without you the state of Laṅkā has been conquered by the enemy. To whom will it go for shelter?
Mandodari is addressing her husband who had left and is not able to hear. She is addressing Ravana as one who made others cry. Sītā was crying day and night and Ravana was the cause of that.
na vai veda mahā-bhāga
bhavān kāma-vaśaṁ gataḥ
tejo ’nubhāvaṁ sītāyā
yena nīto daśām imām (SB 9.10.27)
Translation:
O greatly fortunate one, you came under the influence of lusty desires, and therefore you could not understand the influence of mother Sītā. Now, because of her curse, you have been reduced to this state, having been killed by Lord Rāmacandra.
Whatever you did, was done under the influence of lust and it made you dance. You wanted to enjoy Mother Sītā and this is the reason for your death. How you dealt with Sītā which I could see, is the reason behind your downfall.
kṛtaiṣā vidhavā laṅkā
vayaṁ ca kula-nandana
dehaḥ kṛto ’nnaṁ gṛdhrāṇām
ātmā naraka-hetave (SB 9.10.28)
Translation:
O pleasure of the Rākṣasa dynasty, because of you the state of Laṅkā and also we now have no protector. By your deeds, you have made your body fit to be eaten by vultures and your soul fit to go to hell.
Mandodari is saying that as Ravana is no more, she became a widow along with the whole of Lanka. Now the vultures will eat his body and his soul will go straight to hell. You attained such a destiny as you were under the influence of lust. Ramayana teaches us that those who are under the influence of lust face the same thing. History gets repeated over again and again. Nowadays, the same thing is happening in every city. People are dying and born again and again as they have become victims of lust and greed. He got the name Ravana and such a Ravana is also present in us. Many such Ravanas are there in and around us. We should read the 16th chapter of Bhagavad-Gita .
dvau bhūta-sargau loke ’smin daiva āsura eva cha
daivo vistaraśhaḥ prokta āsuraṁ pārtha me śhṛiṇu (BG 16.6)
Translation:
There are two kinds of beings in this world—those endowed with a divine nature and those possessing a demoniac nature. I have described the divine qualities in detail, O Arjun. Now hear from me about the demoniac nature.
The Lord is saying that there are two types of living entities in this world. Some are divine and some are demoniac. Some are yogi and some are bhogi. We need to study this to know who we are. Then we can understand who we are and what our identity is.
pravṛittiṁ cha nivṛittiṁ cha janā na vidur āsurāḥ
na śhauchaṁ nāpi chāchāro na satyaṁ teṣhu vidyate (BG 16.7)
Translation:
Those possessing a demoniac nature do not comprehend what actions are proper and what are improper. Hence, they possess neither purity, nor good conduct, nor even truthfulness.
He had further said this in the same chapter. Demoniac people don’t know what to do and what not to do, what’s right and what’s wrong.
āśhā-pāśha-śhatair baddhāḥ kāma-krodha-parāyaṇāḥ
īhante kāma-bhogārtham anyāyenārtha-sañchayān ( BG 16.12)
Translation:
Held in bondage by hundreds of desires, and driven by lust and anger, they strive to accumulate wealth by unjust means, all for the gratification of their senses.
The Lord has further said in the 16th chapter that demoniac people are bound by strong ropes of hundreds and thousands of expectations. They are not able to even move a little here and there. He is very expert in lust and greed. If you’re lusty, then you will get angry. The answer is very simple. Anger arises from lust. Then people start earning money by illegal means.
We should study Bhagavad-Gita and from there our learning starts. We should become a student of Bhagavad-Gita. It explains Raja vidya which is the most confidential thing. We should learn this knowledge. Harinama is the life of vidya-vadhu (the wife of knowledge). When we acquire knowledge then we can chant and do sankirtana in this Kaliyuga. Lord Brahma says that he has read all the Vedas and he knows all the Vedas and hence….
ei nām brahma jape catur-mukhe kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare
ei nām nārada jape vīṇā yantre kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare
ei nām śiva jape pañca mukhe kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare
…. Lord Brahma is chanting the maha-mantra with his 4 mouths and Lord Siva with 5 mouths. Lord Siva hears with 10 ears and sees with 15 eyes.
sarvopādhi-vinirmuktaṁ
tat-paratvena nirmalam
hṛṣīkeṇa hṛṣīkeśa-
sevanaṁ bhaktir ucyate ( CC 19.170)
Translation:
“Bhakti, or devotional service, means engaging all our senses in the service of the Lord, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the master of all the senses. When the spirit soul renders service unto the Supreme, there are two side effects. One is freed from all material designations, and one’s senses are purified simply by being employed in the service of the Lord.”
Bhakti means engaging all our senses in the service of the Lord. The Vaisnava traditions start with Brahma and Siva. Sampradyas begin with these two. What does Lord Siva do? He always discusses Bhagavat Katha with his wife Parvati. This is an ideal life for a wife and husband. One should not do idle talks. Siva and Parvati always remain engaged in Bhagavat Katha. We should follow them. Brahma and Siva are knowledgeable and Vedagaya. They do kirtana in this Kaliyuga. As kirtana and Harinama are the wealth in this Kaliyuga, they earn these. And those who are belonging to the demoniac mentality don’t know which is the legal means of earning a livelihood. They don’t know that they are souls and consider themselves to be bodies. How much more foolishness can there be if we just work for our bodies and not for ourselves, our souls? We are souls, part and parcels of the Supreme Lord and if we don’t work for our souls, or the souls of our husbands, wives, daughters, sons, and citizens of the nation, then we are knowingly drinking poison.
hari hari! bifale janama gonainu
manushya-janama paiya, radha-krishna na bhajiya,
janiya suniya visha khainu
Translation:
0 Lord Hari, I have spent my life uselessly. Having obtained a human birth and having not worshiped Radha and Krsna, I have knowingly drunk poison.
We are drinking poison and being born again and again. We should drink the nectar of the holy names to stop the cycle of birth and death.
paritranaya sadhunam

Translation:

We have died so many times for the same reasons as Ravana – lust and greed. We are getting killed and if we have to save ourselves then we have to drink the nectar and then we can attain the Lord. We follow the 4 regulative principles to get rid of demoniac propensities. We honour Krsna prasada. Intoxication and illicit sex are demonic propensities. Ravana was trying to run after another’s wife and that was the reason for his downfall. Both Lord Rama and Mother Sītā had vowed to have just one wife and one husband. Srila Prabhupada gave the four regulative principles so that the demoniac propensities within us will be vanquished and Krsna Prema will awaken.
nitya-siddha kṛṣṇa-prema ‘sādhya’ kabhu naya
śravaṇādi-śuddha-citte karaye udaya (CC Madhya 22.107)
Translation:
Pure love for Kṛṣṇa is eternally established in the hearts of the living entities. It is not something to be gained from another source. When the heart is purified by hearing and chanting, this love naturally awakens.
By hearing Srimad-Bhagavatam, Bhagavad-Gita, Caitanya-caritamrta or pastimes of the Lord, then our consciousness will get cleansed and we will work under the influence of love. Krsna’s devotees work under the influence of love. Understand these teachings and keep chanting.

Talks Between the Lord and Rāmānanda Rāya – Krsna’s Golden Mood
One day Rāmānanda Rāya asked Mahaprabhu:
eka saṁśaya mora āchaye hṛdaye
kṛpā kari’ kaha more tāhāra niścaye (CC Madhya 8.267)
Translation:
Rāmānanda Rāya then said that he had but one doubt within his heart, and he petitioned the Lord, “Pease be merciful upon me and just remove my doubt.”
I have one doubt. It’s been troubling me for many days. Clear my doubt.
pahile dekhiluṅ tomāra sannyāsi-svarūpa
ebe tomā dekhi muñi śyāma-gopa-rūpa (CC Madhya 8.268)
Translation:
Rāmānanda Rāya then told Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, “At first I saw You appear like a sannyāsī , but now I am seeing You as Śyāmasundara, the cowherd boy.
So Rāmānanda Rāya says when you came then I saw your form of sannyasi.
ūrya-śata-sama kānti, aruṇa vasana
subalita prakāṇḍa deha, kamala-locana (CC Madhya 8.18)
Translation:
Śrīla Rāmānanda Rāya then saw Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu to be as brilliant as a hundred suns. The Lord was covered by a saffron garment. He was large in body and very strongly built, and His eyes were like lotus petals.
You were covered by saffron garments ( aruna vasana). You had a golden complexion, but now I’m seeing You in a dark complexion. Why has this transformation taken place?
tomāra sammukhe dekhi kāñcana-pañcālikā
tāṅra gaura-kāntye tomāra sarva aṅga ḍhākā (CC Madhya 8.269)
Translation:
“I now see You appearing like a golden doll, and Your entire body appears covered by a golden luster.
Rāmānanda Rāya says, “I’m also seeing that you were appearing golden( Gaursundara form) and I’m now seeing you dark( Śyāmasundara form) and again I’m seeing that dark complexion is being again covered by a golden complexion. The same thing is stated in Caitanya Bhagavata that “antar krsna bahir gaura”. Inside there is Krsna and outside there is Radha. So when I look at You, I see You Two. I’m seeing both Your golden and dark Complexion.
“sri krsna caitanya radha krsna nahe anya” ( Caitanya Bhagavata)
Translation:
Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu is none other than the combined form of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna.
I’m seeing You in two forms. Earlier I was seeing You alone.
āhāte prakaṭa dekhoṅ sa-vaṁśī vadana
nānā bhāve cañcala tāhe kamala-nayana (CC Madhya 8.270)
Translation:
“I see that You are holding a flute to Your mouth, and Your lotus eyes are moving very restlessly due to various ecstasies.
Rāmānanda Rāya says, “You are carrying a flute and it has been covered by the golden complexion of Radha or it might be that You are getting embraced by Radharani or You are embracing Radharani. Sometimes I see Radha, sometimes Krsna or sometimes both.
ei-mata tomā dekhi’ haya camatkāra
akapaṭe kaha, prabhu, kāraṇa ihāra (CC Madhya 8.271)
Translation:
“I actually see You in this way, and this is very wonderful. My Lord, please tell me without duplicity what is causing this.”
I’m getting surprised to see this. So why am I seeing this? Please explain to me.
prabhu kahe,—kṛṣṇe tomāra gāḍha-prema haya
premāra svabhāva ei jāniha niścaya (CC Madhya 8.272)
Translation:
Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu replied, “You have a deep love for Kṛṣṇa, and one who has such deep ecstatic love for the Lord naturally sees things in such a way. Please take this from Me to be certain.
Mahaprabhu answered back, “ I’m here as it is. You are the only cause of such a vision. This is happening due to your love for Radha and Krsna.”
mahā-bhāgavata dekhe sthāvara-jaṅgama
tāhāṅ tāhāṅ haya tāṅra śrī-kṛṣṇa-sphuraṇa (CC Madhya 8.273)
Translation:
“A devotee advanced on the spiritual platform sees everything movable and inert as the Supreme Lord. For him, everything he sees here and there is but a manifestation of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
I came in the form of a sannyasi and now also I am a sannyasi. The difference that you are seeing is because of your vision and love for Krsna. Hence you’re getting (Sphurti) inspiration to see Krsna everywhere.
tāhāṅ tāhāṅ haya tāṅra śrī-kṛṣṇa-sphuraṇa
By saying this now Lord Caitanya spoke the principles in the form of a formula. It is a very important principle.
sthāvara-jaṅgama dekhe, nā dekhe tāra mūrti
sarvatra haya nija iṣṭa-deva-sphūrti (CC Madhya 8.274)
Translation:
“The mahā-bhāgavata, the advanced devotee, certainly sees everything mobile and immobile, but he does not exactly see their forms. Rather, everywhere he immediately sees manifest the form of the Supreme Lord.”
Elevated devotees like Rāmānanda Rāya, whatever they see inanimate, as well as animate, moving or non-moving, they see not the only external form, but by seeing such forms, they are reminded of their worshipable Lord. In one sense, Lord Caitanya said, “You earlier saw My sannyasi form and now you’re seeing My dark complexion ( Śyāmasundara form ), and you also see how that dark complexion is being again covered by a golden complexion. You are seeing both Gaura rupa and Syama rupa. So what’s My fault? You are responsible for all this. The Lord is inspiring you to see in such a way. I’m the same as I was. I’m sannyasi. I’m Gaur Sundar. I’m Gauranga. But instead of Me, you’re seeing Syamsundara and Gaurangi. This is due to your remembrance of your worshipable Lord. In this way, Lord Caitanya inspired Rāmānanda Rāya as He was his Worshipable Lord ( ista-deva).
divya-gyan hride prokashito ( Guru Puja)
In this way, He gave such darsana to Rāmānanda Rāya of Radha and Krsna. Radha and Krsna are one only. In Kali-yuga they become one. Here Rāmānanda Rāya is seeing Them as one. He is Vishakha and this can’t be hidden from her as she sees Radha and Krsna in Goloka. Lalita and Vishakha are having these experiences and this can’t be hidden for them. Radha Krsna come together in Kali Yuga to spread the holy names. Taking the complexion of Radharani, He becomes Lord Caitanya. This is clarified in this conversation on the bank of river Godavari at Kovvur.
At this place, Lord Caitanya gave this darsana of Radha and Krsna. There the Gaudiya Matha is established by Puri Maharaja, a god brother of Srila Prabhupada. There is a diorama showing this display. Srila Prabhupada also went to that place at Kovvur in 1972 before the Mayapur Festival. He was accompanied by his Western Disciples. I also went there as a padayatri and had the fortune of bathing in the Godavari, taking darsana and hearing this pastime. This is also called Vrindavan of the South. The Godavari is called the Ganga of South India. You can also go there.
This conversation took place within one day and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave darsana to Vishakha. This proves that Lord Caitanya is non-different from Radha and Krsna. Inside there is Krsna and outside there is Gaurangi. So it’s Two in One.
krsnaya krsna-caitanya- namne gaura-tvishe namah
I offer my respectful obeisances to Krsna known as Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu who has assumed a golden complexion. His dark complexion has been covered by the mood of Radharani. Hence He is called Gauranga. So study and think about this.
