Don't Socialize but Spiritualize!
I had heard the report that yesterday there were 842 places from where devotees had participated. It's a good news.
Today also so much news is flooding. This is all breaking the news. During the Japa and Japa-talk session you all are sending so many reports about whatever you all have done yesterday for the pleasure of the Lord, for the pleasure of Gauranga, Nityananda, Krsna-Balarama, Ram-Laksman. For the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada, for me as your spiritual master, and for all other Vaisnavas. Whatever Krishna conscious activities you did as prayers for the whole world to pray to the Lord for protection, liberation and devotion. It's not humanly possible to go through all of the reports. But there is some photographic memory which a computer is retaining, that all of you can read.
I had mentioned yesterday that Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave orders to His associates that they should go and preach Krishna consciousness to everyone and then report to Him after coming back. In that parampara you all are doing similar reporting. Ultimately those reports you are making reaches me, and why only me, but all the devotees doing Japa Yajna. But ultimately all these reports are for the pleasure of the Lord. 500 years back the associates of Caitanya Mahaprabhu reported to the Lord directly and now also your reports are reaching the Lord. I had mentioned already whether you report it here or not the Lord is taking note of all that. Even your thought of reporting is getting noted by the Lord. He knows everything. That is the Lord. He is all knowing. The Lord notes your thinking of wanting to report this particular thing that you did kirtana from 5 o'clock till 5:15 pm.
Many devotees are writing, “We did kirtana at 5.00pm.” Hardik Patel from America and Vallabh Nitai from Noida did kirtana and he got it done from the members of his bhakti vriksha. Prasanna Manjari did kirtana and then she herself also got pleased by that and all those who heard the kirtana also became pleased. We are pleased and the Lord is also pleased. Some devotees have reached Jaipur to be with their family members and they did kirtana over there. Our Ganesh Godase Prabhuji from Pandharpur also did kirtana and got it done by others. Syamalata from Mayapur played the harmonium in the balcony to do kirtana.
My doctor , Shyamsundar Sharma from Nagpur broke the news that they distributed lunch, breakfast and dinner prasada. Syamalangi from the Middle East reported that the Government has allowed zoom conference over there, so she is getting kirtana done by people at distant places like London. Param Karuna from Nagpur, got kirtana done by 25 people from his house, through the medium of internet.This is just tip of iceberg. There are hundreds and hundreds of reports which I cannot even keep track of but it's overwhelming, ecstatic, and its good news. Some devotees are doing Katha and study of Bhagavatam. There are devotees chanting 64 rounds and so many additional rounds.
We are in need of this thing only. We need the sound vibrations, utterance of the names of the Lord. This is Shabda-bramha. This Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, these words are Brahma or Bhagawan. It is Shabda-bramha.
paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma
pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān
puruṣaṁ śāśvataṁ divyam
ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum
Translation:
Arjuna said: You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the ultimate abode, the purest, the Absolute Truth. You are the eternal, transcendental, original person, the unborn, the greatest. ( Bhagavad-Gita 10.12)
That svayam Rupa of whom we can take a photograph or make videos. His Arcavigraha is also parabrahma. That Lord about whom we have heard in sahgusanga .
iti sodasakam namnam kali kalmasa nasanam
natah parataropayah sarva vedesu drusyate
Translation:
“In this way, the collection of sixteen names is the only destroyer of sins in Kali-yuga. No other remedy can be found in any part of the Vedic literature.” ( Kali-santarana upanishad text 6)
We were talking about the katha of the Lord, fame of the Lord and glories of the Lord. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna is not the only Kirtana but Rupa kirtana, Guna kirtana, Lila kirtana and Nama kirtana, Dhama kirtana. Glorification of the fame of great devotees and associates of the Lord is all kirtana. For this kirtana gaan whatever words or mantras we utter , read, sing is all Shabda-bramha. These words itself are Shabda-bramha. These are all transcendental, pure sounds. These are the Lord. When we do kirtana, katha or narrate katha to others then we spread these words all around. Wherever these words reach, as I had mentioned yesterday that whatever kirtana you do locally, it shows its effect globally. When we do kirtana the whole world is benefited. The world is entangled in big difficulty. Hare Krishna kirtana, Krsna Katha, Krsna prasada, Krsna darsana is the only solution. What are the things by which world gets affected the most? It's words.
People talk of noise pollution. There is food pollution, water pollution etc. Similarly there is noise pollution. What is pollution? Whatever words are there in the air or ether, they are polluted. They are defective. The whole world gets affected by that. Our efforts of doing kirtana katha or distribution of prasada is for,
yāre dekha, tāre kaha 'kṛṣṇa'-upadeśa
āmāra ājñāya guru hañā tāra' ei deśa
Translation:
“Instruct everyone to follow the orders of Lord Sri Krsna as they are given in the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam. In this way become a spiritual master and try to liberate everyone in this land.” ( Caitanya-caritamrita, Madhya 7.128)

harer nāmaiva kevalam
kalau nāsty eva nāsty eva
nāsty eva gatir anyathā
Translation:
“ ‘For spiritual progress in this Age of Kali, there is no alternative, there is no alternative, there is no alternative to the holy name, the holy name, the holy name of the Lord.’ (Caitanya-caritamrita Adi 7.6)
By this holy atmosphere, air around us, the material words are getting purified. The reason for sound pollution is not only noisy sounds made by the vehicles and different machines, but noise pollution happens due to nonsensical talks of worldly people and their mental speculations, so called stories of love and sex. When scientists talk challengingly, 'Show us God! He is not there!' Sometimes politicians also talk some nonsensical things. They just keep blabbering whatever they feel like. As they are not intelligent and full of ignorance. All their knowledge is illusory knowledge , which is only about material things, it's only about Geography and Astrophysics. There is no knowledge of transcendence or of the Lord and about the knowledge of self realisation. Such people of the world are
na mam duskrtino mudhah
prapadyante naradhamah
mayayapahrta-jnana
asuram bhavam asritah
Translation:
Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons, do not surrender unto Me. (BG. 7.15)
Those who are duskritino, and mudha , prapadyante naradhamah, those who are naradhamas. They are Nara, but not Narottama. They are Nara - adhama. mayayapahrta-jnana, their knowledge has been stolen by Maya. asuram bhavam asritah, the world is full of those who have been overpowered by the demonic mentality in this age of Kali. When such people talk, write or sing then it's all bak-bak( non sensical sounds). The whole atmosphere, sky and ether gets filled with this only. This is termed noise pollution.
There is deformity or vikriti in the words. Ignorant people have created this. Yesterday I was telling you that when we listen to some lie again and again, 5 times, 10 times, hundred times, then people start believing it to be the truth. As so many times these things about lust and anger are bombarded. By listening to it again and again and again then people start believing in it. By listening to the nonsensical talks of leaders, actors, politicians and scientists and other such ignorant people as breaking news, in electronic news and print news , then by this all the noise pollution happens. All the different pollutions then follow this. By this then mind gets disturbed and there is mind pollution. After the noise pollution there is mind pollution and then all the deformities of intelligence start manifesting as bodily consciousness, fear of death. We get entangled in all this. We start deceiving our own self. Srila Prabhupad said, “This world either gets cheated or cheats others. "Cheaters and cheated" is going on. To protect us from all this we have this,

nāma cintāmaṇiḥ kṛṣṇaś
caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ
pūrṇaḥ śuddho nitya-mukto
'bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ
Translation:
" 'The holy name of Kṛṣṇa is transcendentally blissful. It bestows all spiritual benedictions, for it is Kṛṣṇa Himself, the reservoir of all pleasure. Kṛṣṇa's name is complete, and it is the form of all transcendental mellows. It is not a material name under any condition, and it is no less powerful than Kṛṣṇa Himself. Since Kṛṣṇa's name is not contaminated by the material qualities, there is no question of its being involved with māyā. Kṛṣṇa's name is always liberated and spiritual; it is never conditioned by the laws of material nature. This is because the name of Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa Himself are identical.' ( Caitanya-caritamrita , Madhya 17.133)
This name of the Lord is a reservoir of all the rasas. It's complete, pure and liberated. It's filled with knowledge. Th whole power of the Lord is filled with it. We have to get influenced by the words which describe the name, form, qualities and pastimes of the supreme Lord. This is the gift of Karunavatar Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He gave us , 'Goloker premadhan' which is Harinama Sankirtana which he brought from Goloka. It's a gift to us. There are pastimes of Mahaprabhu, of Lord Rama ,of Krsna. All the pastimes, narrations of the Lord, Srimad-Bhagavatam and of course Bhagavad Gita which is the basic foundation are there. My request to all of you is in whatever situation we are currently due to the Coronavirus, make the best use of the bad bargain. Take full advantage of the situation. This address is not only for those who are on the conference, but it is for all Hare Krishna devotees all over the world.
At 5 pm all of you do kirtana for a minimum of 15 minutes. It is not India limited. We are telling you this on behalf of the 'ISKCON Harinama Propagation Committee.’ We are inspiring devotees all over the world. Wherever you are according to their time zones, at 5 pm you do kirtana. Broadcast this transcendental sound far and wide. Stay busy . You all have smart phones. So you also become smart. By the medium of phones, by the medium of Zoom conferences, and social medias spread the sound. Turn the social media into spiritual media. No more social media. Socialising currently is the bad thing to do. No socialising, but spiritualising! Make it a spiritual forum. Spiritualise the social forums bombarding it with Katha and Kirtana.
From Noida Prema Manjari is informing that they are conducting Bhakti Vriksha on the conference. It's a good idea. Instead of stopping Bhakti Vriksha programs you take it further, expand it to more and more people. A lot could be done in this matter. You can preach in your councillor groups. You can consult with seniors and there is no limit to all the things that can be done. Stay busy.
Finally there is not a good news! All over the world there are about 5 to 6 lakh positive cases of coronavirus. So many people have been affected. ISKCON devotees are also not spared , as they also have this physical body. Param Karuna Prabhu was giving me the news on the conference, but I had received the news last night only. Our Dheeraj Agarwal Prabhuji , who used to chant with us on this conference and who stays 100 meters from temple and his son who studies in Mayapur Gurukul have been detected positive for coronavirus. When this news was out before he was put in quarantine whomsoever he had met in the temple , all the devotees of the temple, around 30 - 35 brahmacaris of the temple have been taken to hospital for 24 hours, for investigation. Due to this the temple which was closed only for the public, is now closed completely as all the Brahmachari devotees are also out.
They are getting checked. I know all of you are praying and still I request to pray for Dheeraj Agarwal Prabhuji and his son and for the temple Brahmacharis and all those devotees who had come in contact with them. Let them be out of the hospital soon. Today there was no mangal arati of Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha, no sringar of their Lordships could be done. Situation is really grave. We pray at the feet of Radha Gopinatha, that may their Lordships protect all the world and specially our ISKCON devotees. Let their Lordships protect Dheeraj Agarwal Prabhuji and his son. May our devotees get discharged from the hospital soon and be get engaged in the service of Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha. My request is that you all should offer such prayers.
